I came up with my own lyrics to the Hellsing theme - "The World Without Logos" (Composed by Yasushi Ishii and sung by Yagumi Hyashibara).

I listened to it many times and came up with a best "phonetic sounding" song based on what the theme of the show is about. This is the English version of it. Listening to Nirvana and Michael Jackson for a while, you wouldn't think what they are singing are words sometimes, so I took a guess that would make sense as a song about dark undertones, like in the show. This is just my opinion and not an "official lyrics" statement of the song as there seems to not be an official version that makes sense in English out there. Thank you anime community.

The World Without Logos

Composed by Yasushi Ishii
Sung by: Megumi Hayashibara

Don't be cruel, revelation.
Live your fantasy.
Tell me who, taught you, the enemy.
And my stardom’s a-waiting.
Don't stop for a show.
And I don’t care.
Just say hello.

Oh no, I won’t choose that elation.
Take me while I’m talking revelation.
No, I won’t change my relation.
They may fool me…How long?
...Instead, it’s gone.

Shooby dooby doo, shooby dooby doo, do doo
Shooby dooby doo, shooby dooby doo, do doo

Take me into the place we…
…Live the fantasy.
Just as guilty…
...And say hello.

No, I won’t choose that elation.
Take me while I’m talking revelation.
No, I won’t change my relation.
They may fool me…How long?
...Instead, it’s gone.

Shooby dooby doo, shooby dooby doo, do doo
Shooby dooby doo, shooby dooby doo, do doo

1. Who gave you the idea that Megumi sang Logos Naki World? wtf.

2. There's a reason why we don't take ear-transcribed lyrics. A lookaround gave me the perhaps "official" kanji lyrics of the song. The songs in all-katakana, should be a jiff for people like me who learned it first than hiragana (that was years ago btw...)

Let's take the first two lines from http://www.jtw.zaq.ne.jp/animesong/he/hell/logos.html ...

ドンビー クールバイブレイション
レボリューファンタジ
it says "Don't be cool vibration
Revolu-fantasy"

So you've got it all wrong.

I love how this song pops up for discussion every once in a while.

A lot of people have tried to figure out what exactly is sung, but if you ask me, it probably wasn't meant to mean much in the first place. Thanks for the effort, though :P.

Thanks for the info, AzureDark (aslo Datenshi). I got the info of the artists from an anime website but didn't bookmark it and can't remember it now! I guess if you could give me the real English lyrics, I'd be happy, while listening to it.

I know that whomever translated it, translated it correct from the crazy katakana lyrics. However, I found a bit that said it was the "true" English Lyrics. Then I listened, and even though I found the lyrics here to be fine, these ones did sounded more like the "true" lyrics. Take a listen to the song with these lyrics, make sure to play it twice, because the voice overlaps on several occasions.

Tell me cool vibration
Live your fantasy
Tell me who, tell me surely, and the name
I'll be stunned, I'll be waiting
Ghosts of horror show and I don't care
Just say ya love

Oh down down, wish it's just a revelation
Take me once, take me to the revolution
Down down won't ya hear the vibration?
Take me home, and I'll look to return

(Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)
(Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)

Double the pain
Double the pleasure
Double your fantasy
Trust beauty, just say ya love

Oh down down, wish it's just a revelation
Take me once, take me to the revolution
Down down won't ya hear the vibration?
Take me home, and I'll look to return

(Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)
(Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)

Oh down down, wish it's just a revelation
Take me once, take me to the revolution
Down down won't ya hear the vibration?
Take me home, and I'll look to return

(Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)

Now I can't say for sure that anything written is correct, but I am giving my personal opinion here; and I will state this once, I can't stress this enough, but there was no freakin' citation for it.

Oh, I forgot to mention this, but I have the Japanese and English Albums, it is not that I don't know the real lyrics, I just really prefer these over the real lyrics.

Aw, those are my two bits.
I am not likely to respond, it isn't my style.
