The first anime character I got really attached to was Hakubi Ryouko from Tenchi Muyou. But I wouldn't call it "love" per se...

I have a special soft spot for Yuugi's Tasuki, Chichiri, Nuriko, Hotohori and Mitsukake...but if I had to choose a "first love" from them - it would be Chichiri every time. Bless ^_^. ;)
