Death Note New Season Ideas

I was wondering if they disided to make a new season for Death Note what would it be about? i've come to some idea of what it would be like. The first thing they could do is not continue the Yagami light thing and start fresh. Make a new stand alown Season that doesn't have any referance to Kira. make it that a new person finds a DeathNote. Or this option (wich i think would ruin the good rep of Death Note) they continue the light story after the thing that happens at the end of the series 1 , u know ;) . and Ryuk gives the book to a Mad Kira supporter. let us know what you think will happen or just pick apart my Hypothisys,

There was a alternate ending manga, what ended the show as it should have been. (By many fans opinion)

But didn't Obata/Ohba already say that there won't be a new season to Death Note?
The last two things they did about it (after original story ended), were "How To Read 13" and Manga Chapter 109, that's all.

How did it end in the alternate ending manga?

Well, it basically went on what happened after Light died.

When he woke up he was in Shinigami Realm, where he saw Ryuk waiting for him.
He didn't understand whats going on at first, but then Ryuk explained to him that he must live through all the deaths he wrote in his notebook.
So at first Light had a heart attack, after lieing down for few minutes he woke up and he was in panic because the next thing was suicide..so he started to strangle himself.

After he died again he asked from Ryuk what will happen if all the deaths have happened to him. Ryuk replyed then he will dissappear forever.
But then Light smirked and told Ryuk he wrote down about 140 000 deaths so he will live & die for a long time, so he started asking some questions from Ryuk about Shinigami God (the Boss).

He found out that he was a gambler and talked with Ryuk that maybe he will somehow decive the Shinigami God to help him, so that he could be a Shinigami.
Then Ryuk realized that Light really is the best (because he never gives up) and decided to help him.

It would be very logical, because when the anime starts (opening) .. you'll see Light in Shinigami world.

Light was corrupted by power so the death that he got was fitting to him. I don't think there should ever be anymore death note because it is done, and i think it should have been left to that.

Where did you find this? After Light dies....he dies. That's it; the end. Chapter 108 (last chapter in Vol. 12) shows the world after a year w/o KIRA.

In the recent manga Chapter release (which was a Final Conclusion: One Shot), showed the world about 3 or 4 years after KIRA/Light's Death. Meadra (or whatever - he's another Shinigami) decides to have the same fun as Ryuk and gives the Death Note to some guys who kills a bunch of old people. He's essentially a copycat and Near goes live like L, AS L, and sells him out, saying that no one can handle the psychological pressure as KIRA; then the copycat KIRA kills himself.

That's about it.

To me, the series is over, it had it's run, and it had ENOUGH media (a manga series, 2 films, a spin-off film, an anime series, a "light" novel, and a pluther of games). I enjoy it the way it is.

But again, where did you find this other story?

I just read that synopsis of yours and was all "WTF?!" That's all...didn't mean to be a B****. (I have a tendecy to be that way...:p )

Well, I certainly don't understand a problem with downloading stuff from the net. [You aren't the first one who is afraid, I've met someone like you in Gaia]
This is rather intresting, the people are either afraid of getting spyware/malware or are just so paranoid and think everyone wants to "hack" their computer.
You'll get over it when you either download as much as you can via internet (not Limewire, torrents) and you'll see that 99.99% of all the downloads hosted on sites like that are clean, or after you have spent like 2 years with your computer, at least 2 hours a day.

[Sorry to dig all of this, but I'm honestly very intrested why people are afraid of downloading] : D

@deathgoddess_yue : That manga was released a few months ago, it's basically showing how "surperior" N is. And yes, it's an offical manga of Death Note.
