Live Action..

The reason this isn't in Eva specifically is because I want the general feelings people may have - Eva fan or not -

Live Action Evangelion.

I would love to see the live action turn out true-to-the-series. I would hate if they dumbed it down for the general population ( i.e - cut out the blood 'n' guts, figuratively speaking ).
Another issue is how they are going to try and cram all 20 something episodes into 2 hours? Only time will tell.

I fear that if hollywood gets it's teeth in it - we won't - as fans - recognize it.


On a side note - Transformers actually turned out to be enjoyable. Maybe there is hope?

Any thoughts and feelings on this in general?

Have no Fear, Hollywood doesn't sink it's teeth into the Anime Business much, therefore simply, You won't see anything happen to the Evangelion movie.

The Eva movie is having some scenes redone, and is only One of Four rebuilds they're doing this year, everything should be fine.
