I would have to say for the playstation I found Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross amazing and out this world awesome for the story line! For the Ps2 I really found Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 fantastic and magnificent as the story line was incredible!

Maybe I'm showing my age here a bit, but my fav game of all time is Tetris
Its the only game i know of that has a version on every console following the NES, ported to anything that can display graphics, even the sides of office buildings, wrist watches, calculators, you name it.
Games come and go but there will forever be those 7 shapes and the pit to challenge you. You never will win, you are doomed to failure from the moment you hit start, but thats the beauty of it. See how long you can stave off your demise. Yes, Tetris holds a special place in my heart.

Definitely the Devil May Cry series for me. I really do like the Final Fantasy series as well, the stories, the characters, the settings, it's all fantastic!

my favorite is a game many may not know Brave Fenser Musashi for the PS1
that game made me laugh, cry and had a good story line with plenty of action the princess in the game cracked me up always complaining about Musashi till he rescued her then found something to complain about again you duel weild 2 swords Lumina and cant remember the other one the main story line is to find all the power ups of Lumina and gain there power while this other guy is trying to do the same eventually the princess summons another hero to rescue her however who she summoned was a rival of musashi and decides to help against the cause the final boss is Lumina and your rival fused together great twist in the story line and a great game all in all its not one of those turn based fighting games either its more like a devil may cry battle system. and the characters did talk. this game was one of the first ps1 games out i think.

No, I meant to say that I'd like Final Fantasy and possibly RPGs alot more if they were a little bit more 'real time' fighting action, other than 'stop and attack' battles. You gotta me kidding me... That's like the worst mmorpg ever made. Browser based yes but there is nothing you can do. Everything is about grinding and farming, ALL DAY LONG! Never any changes.

My favourite video-game? Well nostalgic as I'm I'd say Final Fantasy VII or III. Both are very entertaining. Gfx doesn't matter to me. The story is better than the most tv-series. It has never been the gameplay itself that made FF so awsome, it's the story. If you're after a RPG detailed gameplay you should try the Elder Scrolls series.

I like all RPGs, especially that online one called Runescape. your kidding me right? i know you're entitled to your own opinion and i'm not trying to start a flame war by any means but really? runescape? it has the worst 3d graphics i have ever seen, plus if you don't pay the monthly fee you only get a handful of quests. not to mention it has more lag than any other game on the planet. if you like it then cool but try to raise your expectations and try world of warcraft or tabula rasa, or even city of heroes. but like i said if you like runescape that's cool i just thought i'd help you out.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is now on my list.

It's THAT awesome. I haven't even unlocked all characters and such, haven't beat the SubSpace Emissary, haven't beat all event matches (stuck on 19 on hard), haven't destroyed Snake and Sonic with Pikachu (That's today's plan) or even scratched the surface of how long I'll be spending on this game.

My only complaint is when it's loading it looks like the game freezes. They should fix that. It could give people heart attacks seeing their SSBB almost freeze on the first play.

I have two games that are important to me, because they were my favorite games during my childhood and still remain to be two of my favorite games even now. Bust-A-Groove and Bust-A-Groove 2.

Of course, that's just in dancing games. I apologize, but I can't enjoy DDR or Pump it Up as much as I enjoy Bust-A-Groove.

As far as Fighting Games, it's no contest. The Tekken series. In addition to beating the crap out of anything and anyone, i'm also massively absorbed in the storyline. Yes, there is a storyline in Tekken. And it's AMAZING.

And in the case of RPGs? Honestly, it used to be Final Fantasy IX, which I still love and still recommend to anyone. But after playing and beating Tales of the Abyss, FFIX was blown waaaay out of my heart. Tales of the Abyss stole my soul, and still has it, and refuses to give it back. That game has the most amazing voice cast, the most amazing characters, and a GORGEOUS storyline. <3333
