I'm in the process of translating a bunch of lyrics from the new pillows cd (will probably submit some more later when I'm happier with them). But I'm having some trouble with the song 'Century Creepers' - particularly with the translation of 前進前提で zenshin zentei de.
My trusty dictionary gives 'advance/progress' for zenshin and 'preamble/premise/reason' for zentei but I have no idea how to put those things together. Any ideas?

Here's the rest of the song so far for context, criticism/comments are welcome.

koko wa shizuka de nanimo nai
jibun no ashioto ga kodama shiteru dake
keshiki mo nai

It's quiet here; there's nothing
except for the echo of my footsteps;
no scenery either.

kuraiyami ni nareteru kedo
itsuka wa nukedashite mitaindayo
waraeba ii sa okashii daro
mienai hikari wo kanjiteru
zenshinzenrei de

I'm used to the darkness but
someday I want to try to escape
you can laugh; it's strange right?
that I can feel an invisible light
with my body and soul

mebaeru you ni koko ni ita
saita kokoro wa ame wo shiranai
isseiki no STORY

Here it is, as if it's sprouting
this blooming heart which doesn't know the rain
the century's story

dareka ga matteru you na
ki ga shite sagashi tsudzuketendayo
owari wa kitto mousugu darou
demo ima janai kokyuu wa midaretemo
zenshin zentei de

I feel as if someone
is waiting for me, so I keep on searching
I'm sure the end is near
but it's not now; even if my breathing is distorted
????

kurayami ni kakureterukedo
itsuka wa kimi to deaitaindayo
shiryoku ga nakutemo mitsukerudarou
nita youna itami wo kagiwakeru
zenshinzenrei de

I may be hiding in the darkness but
someday I want to meet you
even without sight, I'm sure I could find you
by scenting out your pain, so similar to mine,
with my body and soul
