The closest I can come up with (bringing together a combination of J-Pop, Rikaichan, and random guessing), I get "Death becomes hopeless night". Sounds like some pretty emo poetry you're reading XD

甲斐 means an effect or a worth. 甲斐なし means being useless or worthless.
死ぬ甲斐なし -> being worthless or meaningless to die, a dog's death.
And by the way,
死ぬわ-> 死ぬは
死ぬは甲斐なしの夜に = At a night where to die would be worthless
