いつから日本語を勉強していた？

去年の二月から私が勉強しています。

すみません、まだ下手ですね！

僕は一年四月間ぐらい日本語を勉強していた。　今月僕の四つのじゅぎょうがはじまる、とてもう れしい :D

今年の夏僕は日本へ日本語を勉強しにたぶん行く。　多い物がならいたく上手になりたい。

Oh, and btw, it should be "私は勉強しています"...if you want to say "I have been studying since last February", the main subject is "I" and the main verb is "study". が is generally reserved for subclauses or off-topic information-conveying sentences (see my second sentence...it's kind of difficult to make the distinction, but I'm pretty sure が is correct there).

でも、私の友達と教えるから、発から始めていいよ。。。

I'm pretty sure that none of this makes sense. I'm particularly not sure about '発から'. It's supposed to be 'from the beginning' but... :D

OK, a bunch more errors:

I'm pretty sure it should be 私はじぶんでならいました instead of 私は私に教えました. I presume you're trying to say "I taught myself". じぶんで is roughly translated to "by myself" or "alone", and ならいました comes from ならう, "to learn", lit. "I learned by myself".

I'm not sure what the second part was trying to say, but "from the beginning" I believe is translated to 始めから.

The second part was supposed to be: "Because I will be learning with my friends, we'd have to start from the beginning". But that second bit is veeery wrong indeed, amirite?

Not that wrong, actually. You just have to remember: 教える is "to teach". "To learn" is 習う (ならう), or to study (勉強する). So you could say "私は友達と日本語を勉するから、始めから始め直さなきゃ" (lit. because I was studying with friends, I had to restart from the beginning)

そして、「to learn」は日本語で習う(ならう)だ。　なるは英語で「to become」だ。

そうですね。私の選考は「Language Acquisition and Teaching」だけど、専門　（つまり「Language of Specialty」）は日本語です。その「専門」は私の、大学院のじゃありません。大学院生として私ので す。 ^_^

私はどこで「なる」を使いましたか（メッセージには）。　そうですね、習うは「To learn」けど、なるは「To become」です。ありがとうございます。：）

Just to boost you a bit, too, I can see where you got the　「発」 that you used. The kanji you were looking for, however, should have been 「初」, which is read the same way. 「発」 carries the meaning of "departure."

However, 「初」has the meaning of "the first," such as 「日本の初」, "The first (something) in Japan." So you don't use it to say, "From the beginning." Keep following Ertai87's advice for that. :) It seems like you are coming along well, though.

「勉強」は「study」のようだが、「ならう」は「to learn」だ。　僕はそう思ってる：

「勉強」を使ってる時、勉強の物をまだ習った、それとも習ってる時に、先生がない。「習う」を使ってる時、 じゅぎょうをとって、先生が教えてる。でも、どちらもよくおなじぐらいだと思う。

もちろん、「勉強」はnoun、しかし「習う」はverb。(too lazy to look up "noun" and "verb" in my dictionary XD)
