Ok, before we get this thing started, rules:

1. Follow all AF rules.:D

Now, after a day or so into the RPG, I plan on asking somebody to be the Co-GM of the RPG for me. Maybe even 2 people considering certain circumstances.

Really, there isnt much for me to say, other than enjoy the RP. Now, let's begin.....

__________________________________________________ ______________

The year 500 A.D.......

It was a war. Hundreds upon thousands of Greek warriors battle each other, blood spewing everywhere. Corspes laid across the war zone, the bodies being moved around as if simple trash on the battlefield. The stench of blood filled the air, fresh. This battle had been going on for the past 2 days, the only rest anybody recieved was an eternal one.

Hours and hours wore on, and soon, there were only a few warriors remaining on each side. The land below them had been almost completely destroyed, craters littering it all over. The final few of warriors charged toward each other, 4 on each side. These 8 people were known as kings, the most powerful of Greek warriors.

They all clashed their blades together, sending a sparkle of energy out in all directions. Rays of light spread outward, completely blinding view of what had actually happened.

The light slolwy faded, and the 8 Kings all stood in a circle, a white light shining down in the middle of them. As if they had been frozen still, they didnt take another step, all just looking up at the shining light. A winged being was seen descending from the light, slowly making its way too the center of the Kings' circle.

That winged being simply spread its arms outward, and sent out a large wave of white light. That wave spread across the entire land, completely overtaking every inch. As the white light faded, the wretched, bloody battlefield had been changed into a beautiful, lush grassland, flowers blooming all over.

The battle had finally ended. The 8 Kings all fell to the ground, their bodies completely giving in on them. They layed in the grass, a smile crossing each of their faces. Unity between the most powerful warriors of the land had been reached, and the struggle between them had ended. What was unknown to them, is that something similar to that they just witnessed would take place hundreds of years later. Although, it would be a much far greater struggle......a legendary war that would go down in history.

Colors: Soji Kanihoto - Aya Kurama

*RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING*

The bell had just rung at Shinanome High School. Within seconds, the kids were all exiting through the doors, free from restraints. Most kids were seen riding their Air Treks, weaving through the large crowds.

Soji Kanihoto, age 17, a junior at Shinanome High School, walked out of the schoolyard with a pair of ATs strapped to his back. Soji took a look at the ATs, seeing as they had been used to their limit. The wheels were chipped in multiple places, the straps torn at every possible place, and the skate itself was technically one big scratch.

"Damn........these things are done." He thought. "Time to pay a visit to the local shop...." Soji ruffled through his pockets, pulling out twenty-five bucks. "Aw hell, I can barely afford a wheel!"

This boy, suprisingly enough due to his lack of equipment, was the leader of a pretty popular Storm Rider team around the school, Blade Dance. Although, the leader seemed to be out of luck. "Let's hope I can find a discount or two..." Soji thought, throwing his ATs over his back again.

Soji then felt a slight tug on his ATs and turned around, to see Aya Kurama behind him. "What gives?" Soji said, sighing.

"Have you taken a look at your ATs lately, Soji? Those poor things....you completely killed them!"

"'Killed them?'" Soji asked. "You say it l ike they have feelings!"

"If you plan on leading an Air Trek team, I hear that actually having ATs to use helps!" Aya said, arching an eyebrow.

"I know, that's why I was about to ask you for about 45 bucks. That should get me a decent pair, coupled with my 25 right now."

"Sorry bro, but I've got my own needs to worry about. I plan on joining an Air Trek team myself later on today!"

Soji was suprised at this. He chuckled, scratching Aya's head. "What team? If its with an assload of wild boys, I might have to put you on hold."

Aya almost completely ignores Soji's comment, looking off into the distance. "Anyway, I've got to get going, see ya' when you get home." She begins to walk off, a slight op in her step due to her almost abnormal cheery attitude.

"Yeah, whatever." Soji said, sitting down at a table on campus, continuing to stare at his broken down ATs. He figured he'd hang around the school a little longer before leaving, not wanting to miss out on any 'opportunities' he may miss in leaving immediately.

OOC: Alright everyone, here we go. Now, since everybody is leaving the school at the moment, you can all rather meet up with other team members, get aquainted, or just act the fool.:D Good luck, and enjoy.

Hayate-Dark Red

Hayate left looking for Soji. It's been a while since he and Soji and him had a very long conversation. He began to walk the streets in his school uniform, he thought he find Soji on the streets or the shops because he's usually there. "Man, it's been a while since Soji and I talked. I better meet up with him. He might have something important to tell me."

OOC: Sorry for short post. I have to go to bed.

Echine left his homeroom, Class A1-4, at a calm, measured pace while looking out the windows that were directly across from the room door. The sky was calm and and air was glistening. He let it sink in a bit calmly, leaning lackadaisically against the window sill for a moment before pushing himself off with a sigh and continuing on down the whole with the same slow pace as before. He never liked to rush anywhere, his body had never been the greatest and even though most of the asthma had disappeared over the years he had maintained the habit of not rushing. Besides, it wasn't like anyone was waiting for him anyway.

Echine walked down the main stair case watching as kids passed him and his "old man" walk. To him, there always seemed to be a reverb effect on their voices and slight echo of distance and the thought brought that vague smile to his face that he so often wore. Combing his thin, pale fingers through his blue hair he sighed it was such a nice day. Just like so many who had come before, just like so many that would be.

He entered center of the campus and found his usual bench beneath a white cherry tree that had seen the passing of many years and whose branches had sagged down so that he could wave his fingers through them while he sat on the bench. Echine pulled at his muffler against a chill only he could feel, sensitive to such things as he was. A sigh escaped his lips vaguely as his laptop flipped open and he began to sign in while he sipped at some off-brand cola he had bought at the grocery store last week. Money was always tight at the end of the month, while he waited for next months allowance from his parents and could go an out an splurge it away on...food. Not that he blamed his parents much for being tight with money, their wasn't much that could be spared on a soldiers pay, especially when they paid for his apartment as well. So he had learned to just accept the less than stellar food and the lunchs which consisted of a long visit to the water fountain as a matter of course.

The lights on his laptop flickered gently in his eyes but their was a slight glare from the sun shining through the trees that prevented him form seeing the entire screen well but he knew what he was looking at. He had left some posts on the school web page that he was recruiting members for a AT team but so far he hadn't really gotten any responses. Which was to be expected. He should have thought up a better name. "Gnosis of Sophia" was a bit to... esoteric. It lacked the mainstream appeal of some of the other names.

The lack of allusions to violence didn't help the matter.

But he would wait here as he had the past two days. Well, be that as it may he still needed to get his homework done. After all, though he might be a team leader his first responsibility was to his study and then to his sport. He opened a word final for a paper he was write for his World history class. The Evolution of Esoteric Buddhism. He was stretching the limits of what the subject matter of "Chinese History" could imply but he figured the quality of the paper he could write on the subject would more than make up for its...esoteric nature.

Even he thought that pun was awful.

Haji looked out of the class room A1-4. He grinned as the bell rang. He slowly lifted his body up from his desk and slipped on his AT's. He jumped through the window and grinded down a storm pipe. He word a smile the whole way down. He then noticed the leader of the Storm Rider team Blade Dance, Soji. He shot part him and jumped into the air. His green and white AT's gleaming in the sun's light.

"Haji where are you going so quickly and fast like."

Kyoko rode beside him. Her brown hair spread out due to the wind rushing through it. She looked over at Haji and smiled before pulling ahead of him and stopping him infront of a small house. They were still a few meters away from the school. Kyoko looked Haji up and down before grinning at him and turning around.

"Haji we still need one to two more people."

Haji looked her over once from her head to her feet. He them looked at the sky and slipped his hands into his pockets.

"Yes i know that Kyoko. I'm working on it. You know that with all there new teams coming out their would be a shortening of free riders. We just have to wait and think about this. I can still ride in a single race and a dash but other then that we are sunk."

Haji turned back around and the back wheel of his AT's began to speed up. He didn't move from the spot he was in but smoke began to rise around him. He looked over at Kyoko and shook his head before releasing the tension in his feet the cause his AT's not to move. He disappeared from his spot and soared into the skies. He word a grin across his face as he reached for the heavens. Kyoko being right by his side. They continued to jump from building to building intel they landed on the school. Haji smiled and looked at the school. This would someday be his backyard.

“RIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG”

“Your entrance exam scores are some of the highest we’ve seen here at Shinanome. We are overjoyed at your decision to come here and understand that being home school you had different schedules, Miss Iwasaki. I hope you find our campus to your liking, and if you have any problems please come to me directly,” the headmaster of Shinanome said to Aung. She smiled warmly up at the older man as they walked out of his office. The trip there had been an average boring one and her mind was on the apartment she now had to furnish. She hadn’t been worried about getting in at all, having read up on the school she knew a lot of AT hoodlums went here and they were quite desperate to add more academic students. As the headmaster and Aung parted ways she looked out one of the large, clear windows.

The sky was pure blue and cloudless, which was somewhat disappointing. Aung was in great need for some rain, but nature couldn’t be helped so she went on to looking at the front entrance. Some students straggled walking slowly towards their homes. To waiting families, Aung felt a strange tugging sensation, but choose to ignore it. A stronger sensation was tugging at her feet. They practically were crawling out of her shoes begging to ride. The problem she was facing was a common one. Should she let people see her with ATs and have them constantly nagging her to join their team or fade into the shadows as another “smart kid”. As much as Aung wanted to remain rational, which was her key rule, when it comes to ATs she was beat.

Aung hurried down the steps towards the entrance doors. She paused for a moment and sat down on the foot print covered stairs. It took her a sec to get over the gross factor, until she realized what a ninny she was being. Aung slipped off her normal shoes and put them in her patch-covered bag. Out came her beloved ATs shiny and clean. All along the sides were different shades of blue on a white base. One of her only friends back home was a graphic designer and had decked her ATs out. Before placing them on her feet Aung rubbed one of them against her face feeling the coolness of the plastic and steel. Feeling slightly embarrassed by her actions Aung hurriedly put on her ATs then glided out the door.

The breeze brushed against Aung’s body and she was gone. Up in the air she flew down the steps’ rail, grinding one foot in front of the other arms out like wings. At the end she jumped up flipping her body into a spiral landing in third position. With a quick bend of the knees she was off again, into the sky jumping from light post to light post joyous as the breeze itself.

OOC: Good opening posts so far.

Soji looked around, seeing a boy pass by him, going pretty fast, on a pair of treks. It was expected, seeing as ATs were all the rage these days. "Its almost as if everybodies into ATs right here....." Soji thought, taking another gander at his worn out skates. "Hell, I've done more dangerous things in the past, right?"

In only a matter of seconds, Soji had his ATs on and ready. As he applied pressure to them, he moved a lot faster than he thought these old things would go. Even so, he was still being bypassed by pretty much everyone who was walking.

"Aw, hell." Soji muttered, slowly making his way into the streets. Any pair, other than the ones he currently had, would satisfy him. He looked up at a lightpost, only to see a girl on ATs, leaping from one to another, as if she was free from all worldly connections.

"Urgh......are they purposely trying to piss of me off?" Soji growled, moving at the speed of slow down the busy Namihara streets.

Meanwhile, Aya cut her way through the crowd of school kids, making her way to the center of the campus. A large, towering cherry tree sat off to the side, shading a bench, and the boy who sat on teh bench. Aya stared the boy down, thinking she had found who she was looking for.

She had remembered seeing an ad on the school website about this same boy starting a team, and this was the team she fancied to join. She began to approach the boy, very cautious on what she would say. Millions of intros ran through her mind, but she could all but pinpoint what she would say to him.

The fact that her mind was still a bit baffled by the actual name of the team didn't help the matter much, either.

Eliza walked off the staires after the bell rang. she sighed as she slipped on her purple ATs some of the people that had stopped to talk snickered as she stood carefully. After feeling secure enough she started to move seeming slightly gracefull until after a few meters one of her wheels got stuck in a crack and she fell forward "ouch" she sat on her knee's ignoring the laughter of some of the others. A boy moved infront of her "why don't you stop and give those to someone who can actualy use them?" he laughed as he started to cirkel her. eliza's eye twitched in anoyance and when he passed her right side again she stuck out her arm cuasing him to trip. she chuckled at his glare "seems i am not the only one who cannot use there ATs right" she stood up and glared him down. the boy gritted his teeth and yelled "get her!!". eliza glanced over her shoulder and saw a group coming for her she quickly speeded away stumbleing a bit at some moments.

Echine typed away, his fingers moving with blissful speed while his eyes looked over at some kids that were walking home. He wasn't really looking at them though, more like he was looking through them, staring into the endless horizon that lay past their fleeting forms. It was something he did out of habit, and occasionally it had gotten into trouble with girls who thought he was staring at them, when really he did not even realize they were there.

All the while his fingers just clicked neatly on his laptop, sentence after sentence streaming from his head to his fingers with little to stop the flow. That was how he wrought all his papers, he started by writing as much as he could off the top of his head, in discrete thought organized by subject, and then read it over and reorganized the text into some more precise and polished. He had a few footnotes to add in, some references to his sources and a nice little bibliography but that wouldn't take to long.

He stopped typing for a moment and yawned. The school was getting so nice and warm he was starting to fall asleep, perhaps he ought to start heading home to his nice and cold apartment where he wouldn't feel quite as sleepy. He stood up and began to pack his laptop away in its bag before he began to turn to go.

"Birds fly so high in the sky without fear of falling. Do you know why this is true Kyoko?"

Kyoko looked at Haji with a grin. She slowly made her way toward him. Her pink eyes in a daze from the passion behind his words.

"The birds have wings that they were born with. We have wings that we earn. Kyoko.............when will I truely earn my wings?"

Kyoko looked at Haji and turned away. She didn't have an answer. This was the second time he had asked her that. She never had a answer. She felt so lost when he talked and so weak when he fought. She was losing his love to AT's. She could feel his heart leaving her. She cried at night thinking about the day he left her for good. She never wanted that to happen.

"Haji........will you ever leave me for AT's?"

Haji turned around quickly and rode behind her. He stopped and wrapped his hands around her waist. He whispere something into her far that caused her to smile. He then turned and held her hand. "Lets go Kyoko, it's time to fly toward are destiny." Kyoko nodded and wiped her face before changing into a different person all together. He grinned before she and Haji made their way toward their wings, and the AT shop that was underground and was one of the best places to get AT's.

Kaname walked down the steps of Shinonome high school in her jeans and white cami top under a blue jacket, having already changed out of her uniform. She walked with in a calm manner, though her heart was leaping with excitement, to a wall where she would switch out her athletic shoes with her ATs. It has been five months since Aoi bought her niece the ATs and Kaname felt as if her feet were beginning to fuse with them. She wore them whenever she could and practiced as much as possible. She had just learned how to wall ride up a wall as well.

Kaname stood in her ATs and was about to completely jet away from the school and go as fast as she could to somewhere she could just leap off and fly, even if it wasn't literal. But after a moments consideration, she decided to speed home to drop of her load of school books.

"I'm home," she called into the house, not bothering to take off her ATs.

"So you are," Aoi came out of the kitchen in a white apron with her blonde-dyed hair in a sloppy bun. "... And you're about to leave again." She said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I've already finished my homework so I'm just going to cruise around before work. You need anything from the supermarket?"

"Maybe a carton of milk and about five packs of Easy Bake cookies. I don't want to be the one who promised kindergardeners cookie and show up empty handed."

Kaname laughed lightly and turned, "Alright, milk and cookies, gotcha," she said, then closed the door and raced off. She put her hands in her pocket and leaned foward as she rode along the narrow wall. When is took a sharp turn she leapt off, landing perfectly on the ground she decided to slow down a bit. As muh as she loved speed Kaname knew that going slow sometimes was the best way to go about the day.

Kaname took this opportunity to ponder on the tournament coming up. She did want to participate but you muts have a team to qualify. Kaname had a fair amount of friends at Shinonome high but none of them seemed as if they were intersted in the tounrament, they only rode ATs for fun and so did she but she wante a little bit more. Kaname took the ribbon from her hair, allowing the hazel strands to flow in the breeze.

A boy with amazing speed flew past on her in ATs and Kaname smiled slightly. It wouldn't be too bad if she couldn't join the tournament. As long as she still had her ATs in her possession, she was happy. At a distance, she could see a girl jumping lamp posts and Kaname arched an eyebrow. She hardly knew what was legal or illegal with ATs laws so she never really attempted such stunts in public eye. Facing ahead again, Kaname felt herself blend into the crowd of people. Just another pretty face in the world, nothing special about her. This thought made her sigh and she rode a little faster.

OOC; Looks like I'm a bit behind with my intro post ^^; Shiva is light blue, Sai is silver.

BIC; Shiva stood in front of her locker, popping it open and then reaching inside when she was interrupted by a weak male voice stammering out her name "Sh-Sh-Shiva.." The bleach blonde snapped her head out from behind the locker door to meet the eyes of a prepubescent looking boy, probably a freshman. He had long scraggly hair and a thin, meak body. She recognized him by looks, but she certainly didn't know his name. Shiva raised an eyebrow and said "Oh. You."

Stepping out from her locker she stood in front of the boy, slipping on a pair of fingerless gloves. "You got it then?" she asked, reaching out a gloved hand towards him expectantly. "Y-yes.." he handed her a slip of paper. Shiva eyed it for a moment. "This is garbage. I thought you were supposed to be some really good artist? This is hardly intimidating enough." She said rudely.

The 16 year old girl scrutinized the paper some more. On the paper was a drawing of a crisply detailed looking dragon, it's tail wrapped around a skull and it's claw crushing down upon it. On the dragon's scaly red skin were the words 'fatality'. It was a bit too morbid looking for Shiva's taste, but she had asked for something intimidating. It was really good.

But.. as if Shiva was about to give this kid a compliment.

"I suppose it'll do for our team emblem. You got lucky." she huffed, reaching back into her locker and pulling out a set of very brightly polished ATs. They nearly looked brand new. Shiva grasped the string that tied the pair together and slung it casually over her shoulder. Slamming her locker she noticed the boy still standing there. "You can go now."

The boy stood his ground, pausing a moment before he continued "I-I was wondering if.. if maybe I could join--" Shiva shook her head, laughing "What? Join my team? Don't think so. You see kid, I'm the best there is. And my team has to be, well, at least almost as good as me. And you.." she gave him the full stare-down. "Well, you just scream pathetic. I can't have everyone thinking I roll with people who are pathetic can I? Because how does that make me look?" she paused, letting it sink in, and continued. "That's right. Too bad kid, maybe you can find some loser team to join."

Shiva readjusted her ATs on her shoulder and turned, laughing aloud to herself as she walked down the hall. "Hahaha, what a loser.." she muttered to herself, shaking her head. Next thing she knew, a boy sided up next to her. Shiva shot him a sideways glance "Hey there Sai. Punctual as usual, good that's what I expect from my team."

"That kid looked like you hit him with a bag of bricks Shiva.. don't you think you could have taken it a bit easier for once? He is just a freshman." Sai ran his hand through his hair casually.

Shiva just laughed "You're really funny Sai, you know that?" She shook her head "Losers deserve to be treated like losers." She looked at him, a confident smirk clearly apparent on her face "I'm a winner. And winners act like winners." She turned forward again, her head held high in the air.

Sai shook his head very slightly, but said nothing.

"Eat or be eaten, Sai."

When the twosome, still in their school uniforms, exited the school then, and made thier way quickly down the steps. A lot of gestures and looks were made in response to Shiva's presence. She was well known in the school.. basically, if you didn't know of her you must be living under a rock. There were those who either admired her, or those who loathed her, and she recieved plenty of both.

Pulling out her cell Shiva frowned. "Sheesh... where IS Sayuri??"

Sai shrugged slightly, his hands in his pockets.

Shiva shook her head "All those teams out there are probably practicing right now. And we can't even find out other teammate! Grrrr!" She crossed her arms frustratedly.

Sai just shot her a look that really said it all. He didn't much care for words. Sai was an understanding guy, he was an observer. It was just his personality trait, and while it had it's downfalls, it enabled him to get along with even the most difficult of people.

Shiva turned her head away. "You're right. Let's put on our ATs, I'll give her a call and have her meet up with us. This should give us a chance to try and scope out the other teams."

Sai nodded, sitting down and slipping on his pair that he retrieved from his blue backpack. Shiva had bought him a brand new pair, though he hadn't seen anything wrong with his old ones. Fastening the snaps into place he stood, shoving his hands in his pockets again. That was Sai's own sort of signature skating style, with his hands in his pockets. To him it wasn't anything special, just how he skated. People seemed to like how effortless he looked when in his ATs. He spun around Shiva as she fastened her skates together, and then stood.

Shiva's techinique was much more dynamic then Sai's. She was flashy, opting for the most daring moves to make herself look good. She did a few spins on her ATs while dialing on her cell, and then started skating backwards down the sidewalk.

Sai just shook his head, and followed her, his hands still in his pockets.

Shiva left Sayuri a message telling her to meet them by the bridge where they had met last weekend. The blonde weaved through the busy crowds on the sidewalk with ease, spinning to the side to avoid a rather large man who was hurrying past them. "Tch.. disgusting. Way to take up the whole sidewalk."

She gracefully slipped back into skating backwards, looking across the street she eyed a boy in a pair of beat up AT's. "Who's that kid?" she asked aloud to Sai as she watched him skate. Smirking, she called out to him sarcastically. "Hey, nice ATs!"

OOC; My character is so nice xD

Haji watched as one of the kids at his school was attacked. Kyoko had already went off to find them and help her. Haji was right behind her. He quickly turned when they did. He jumped from house to house, gaining on them.

"Kyoko take the south side, she is able to run into a dead end." Haji spoke as he stayed calm. His voice was cool and showed know means of worry."

Kyoko nodded and did as he said. She disappreared into the alley way. Her AT's speeding up. She smiled as she rode up the wall, spinning, while turning circles. She came to the top and landed on the wall looking down as the girl was surrounded.

"So is this how you treat a lady boy's?"

Kyoko yelled as she rode down the wall and speaking. She sped up and jumped from the wall. The light shines through her hair making her body seem even more beauty. She kicked two of the thugs and jumped beside the girl. She grinned at her before looking at her new friends. They closed in on her carrying chains and bats.

"You would dear try and hurt a women. You shall now feel the wrath of the Mourning Breeze that sweeps the fields of this land. Haji shot out of the air in a flipping manner. He opened his arms and legs and spread them wide before spinning and twisting his body. He grinned and landed on the rail of a window seal. Sparks rattled as he sled down the pipe. Once at the end he soared from the rise and landed in the middle of the gang. He shook his head and put his hands into his pockets.

"Lets see if you can handle me? I'm not going to stand here and wait."

Haji held up five fingers and again to countdown.

"5.......4.........3.......2........."

Haji stopped and grinned. Time was up.

"......1......"

Haji grinned as all the thugs pushed in at one time. Haji's body disappeared as they all missed. One by one they all fell. Haji standing in the middle with both hands still in his pockets. Their was no sign of they moving. Haji looked at the girl and Kyoko and grinned. "Are you ok?"

Freeness of the air overwhelmed Aung’s mind. She had to pull herself out of the feeling and remind herself that she was going somewhere, that she had plans and that this new world was different from her own.

A block or so away from the AT shop Aung jumped to the ground. She sat on a concrete block. With nimble hands Aung undid her ATs and placed them into her bag. She replaced the ATs with Rocket Dogs then padded down towards the shop. As she turned onto the street the store was located the thin stream of storm riders rose to abundance. Aung walked next to the stonewall that ran along the sidewalk eyes looking straight in front of her. She wasn’t there to buy parts or talk to other riders. No she was a bit of a loner so she was there for the one thing anyone needed especially a kid with a limited allowance, Money. The store had announced an opening and the starting salary was much better than anything else she was going to get. The only other way a girl could get that kind of cash would be to sell herself and that thought disgusted Aung.

A bell ring as Aung entered the shop; it was filled with color and people. People laughed and scrutinized over which parts to buy and counted coins hoping for enough to buy their chosen item. Aung knew she wanted to be one of those kids, but there in that knew world she didn’t dare trust anyone. This was all her grandfather’s fault this totally alien feeling this aloneness that swarmed her.

“I’m here for the for the job opening, I’ve got an interview scheduled for today.” Aung said in a forced voice. Conquer your fear; conquer your fear, Aung thought to herself.

“Oh yeah the Iwasaki girl,” said the guy behind the counter, “I think I’ve got…here it is.” The guy held a sticky note and a black shirt. “Your interview is a afternoon on the job. If you survive then you’ll probably have the job. You’re pretty cute, I’m sure you’ll do fine,” he said in a flirting tone.

“Where are the bathrooms?” Aung asked politely, clearly uninterested.

“In the back it’s the door on your…Right, yeah, the door on your right. Hey if your going to fight do it outside we’ve got merchandise in here,” the guy said with much practice. With the last words he was off breaking up a dispute. “You are on cash register duty new girl.” He shouted over his shoulder.

Aung sighed and rolled her eyes, could boys just leave her alone, Aung thought with annoyance? She went into the back section of the store heading towards the bathrooms. Lining the hallway were boxes of merchandise, all piled almost to the ceiling, covered in logo stickers. At the end of the hallway there was a corkboard with printouts and flyers. Some of them were advertisements for new teams that were looking for members. Aung’s eyes settled on one there was a hand holding a fruit and it was giving the fruit to another hand, which was softly reaching for it. Underneath, on a banner was written the word γνώση (gnosi). Aung was about to read more when she remembered today was her interview or whatever.

Aung quickly entered the ladies room. She changed into the black shirt with the saying “Arts and Parts” in neon green. On the back was the word STAFF in the same neon green. Aung shivered a bit in her skirt so she changed into her jeans. They were ratty old things with holes and rips all over. They also had bleach stains and splattered paint, but Aung liked them all the same. On her way out of the bathroom Aung had a small burst of courage and grabbed the printout with the Gnosi emblem and stuck it in her bag. With that she headed out to the cash register for her “interview”.

"Maybe I should go to the local store may be I'll find him there-" Hayate immediately saw Soji on the streets. He quickly went over to him. "Hey, Soji. It's been a while. What's up? Anything important I must know?" It's been a while since Hayate and Soji talked to each other.

As Soji slowly rode down the street on his pair of busted ATs, a girl came by, yelling something ignorant to him. He had recognized her from around school, and as he watched her, along with a male student from Shinanome, ride away, only one phrase came to his mind.

"Yeah? Well, nice ***!" He said, as she bypassed him. He simply had nothing else to say on that subject. "I'm a total joke, riding on these damn things.........." Seeing a nearby light post, Soji jumped into the air. He grasped onto the post and while spinning on the post with one foot, he relieved his foots of the trash they were forced to wear. Throwing both of his ATs into the air, he took his shoes from his bag and quickly slipped them on.

The AT straps were caught on the light post, and would not be moving from that place any time soon. "I'll just leave 'em for some lucky stray, I guess." Soji thought, chuckling. Before he was able to take another step, a familiar voice entered his head. He turned around to see a boy talking to him as if they had known each other forever.

"Huh?" Soji said, staring at the boy. Suddenly, the light bulb was lit. "Hayate? That you?" He muttered. It was Hayate Takashi, he whom was an old friend of Soji's. Soji grinned, scratching the back of his head. "Heh, how ya' been man? Living under the local rock?" Soji said, beginning to walk ahead, beckoning for Hayate to follow. Usually, Soji would have stood there and had a face-to-face conversation with his old companion, but seeing as the last thing he was the leader of Blade Dance and he couldnt be seen without a ride, he wanted to make his way to the local Air Trek shop as soon as physically possible.

-----

The boy whom Aya had just about got ready to talk to began to walk away from his spot. Mustering the little confidence she had, she stood in front of him. "Excuse me?" She said to Echine. "My name is Aya Kurama.....mind if I talk to you for a second? Its about your Air Trek team." She said. A large weight had been lifted from her shoulders as she finally spoke, and another weight was set on them as she was forced to weight for his response.

Echine was sort of musing to himself as he drank is off-brand soda when suddenly a voice brought him back to reality for the time being. It was a girl, and she wanted to speaking with him on the subject of his Air Trek team. This was encouraging, she was the first person, of what he hoped would be a few, to approach him with questions about his team. He looked at her with his usual smile, "oh? so what can I help you with?"

It was all good now. Aya finally calmed down, and was ready to continue the conversation.

"Well, I just want be sure of something before I make a fool of myself. Your the leader of the STorm Rider team, Gnosi of Sophia, right?" She said, relieved she was even able to pronounce the name correctly.

Echine looked at the nervous girl, it was slightly humorous in a way. "Yes, I would indeed fall under that description." he replied with a gentle tone, hoping to calm her slightly, after all he didn't want her having a stroke before she even got to the question she was going to ask him. Idly, he tugged at the threads of his muffler as he waited for her to respond.

Aya had completely calmed down by then. She took in a deep breath and sighed, the weight permanently being taken off her shoulders.

"Alright, then we're good!" She smiled. "Listen, my name is Aya Kurama. I'm the 'younger sister,' if you will, of Soji Kanihoto. He leads this other Storm Rider team called Blade Dance, you may have heard of him?" She said, arching her eyebrow.

Aya put her hands behind her and tilted her head to the side a bit. "Anyway, I'd like to know about your team, which is why I'm here. How has it grown since it was created? Like, how many members and such do you have?" She asked, somewhat forseeing the answer.

Soji, whom had been followed by Hayate, finally came across an AT shop. Even though he was somewhat "lacking" in the cash department, he decided he had no choice than to check it out. He slowly stepped in to find the entire place full of other Storm Riders. Of course, this is only what he would expect from one of the most popular AT Shops in Namihara.

"Let's see something you can actually get........." Soji muttered, looking around the shop. His gaze shifted to the counter, where a an obviously new girl was running the cash register. He knew she was new, seeing as he came here almost everyday and never before saw her. "Well, I see what I want." He thought, as his insides bore a devilish grin. His outside, although, simply approached the counter.

"Soji? vaguely... I've heard the name before... maybe something I heard in passing... but its not terribly important right now." he muttered slightly turning his attention to her more vital second question, "The Gnosis of Sophia is a team I started trying to form only recently. I'm sort of a hanger on from the a more successful team where I acted as their strategist, coach, and manager but all of them have since moved on to college and I'm hoping to make my own team which will find equal if not greater success. Currently, I'm the only member. Somethings you may want to know before you sign up is that I'm a coach by training so I'm going to train you hard before matches, if your not willing to work hard in practice than don't bother signing up. Second, its also my belief that we are students before we are Storm Riders, so if you start slacking off in your studies I won't let you race. On the flip side, if you have an important test, I don't mind if you skip practice to study."

OOC: I'm totally basing Echine off an old coach of mine.

"Ah-ah!" Aya said, pointing toward Echine. "I never said I wanted to join, did I? You just jumped to the conclusion."

After thinking about what he said, she knew that if she did decide to join, it would be no easy road. She sighed before letting her eyes shoot toward Echine. "Even though you may have rushed things a bit, and what you said does sound very challenging, I've grown to love taking on challenges." A grin crossed her face as she devilishly glared at Echine.

"I'll count this as another challenge to overcome." She said, implying that she wanted in on the team.

Sayuri left the school glad to be out in the sunshine. She'd just failed a test again not that she really cared. Sayuri pulled on her AT's black with long silver streaks. They were Sayuri's one consession to appearance. Her Long brunette hair was held with its usual ponytail. She wouldn't bother to take off her uniform either. It wasn't as if she had anything really good to change into.

As she finished pulling her AT's Sayuri checked her cell for messages. She knew that Shiva would be angry. Sayuri hadn't even really listened to the teacher's reprimands. She was a bit more worried about Shiva. But her dad would kill her if she skipped out on another lecture so Sayuri had grudgingly stayed a few minutes after the bell. After listening to the terse message Sayuri moved to her feet. Her style was less prnounced than Shiva's she moved with grace and fluidity not bothering with fancy tricks but hers definitely wasn't unagressive. She nearly ran over a freshman. "Move or be moved!" Sayuri called back as the kid tried to pick himself up.

She ran over about five or more kids just getting off the school grounds. She repeated what she had said to the first kid. Two of them had been talking but that didn't bother Sayuri she skated between them with a laugh. But that was completely her, no fashion sense and no conscience or so it seemed. She breezed by a really fat man accidentally running over his toe. The guy started screaming at her Sayuri laughed but continued on to the bridge. When she got there Sayuri sat on a rock then redid her pony tail to keep her dark hair away from her eyes.

Aung surveyed the store with eagle eyes. She memorized where all the different parts were and how they were set up. She noticed that the store had a very refreshing feeling for all its business. Someone had obviously set the store up so no matter how busy or noisy it got it would still be relaxing. Very clever, Aung thought with a smile.

Aung decided to see what kind of things lay beyond the counter and turned around. She looked up at the more expensive AT stuff that was displayed behind the counter in locked glass cases. She noticed a poster on the glass. It was of some Storm Riders racing near the ocean. In the middle she saw a girl with longish chestnut hair riding the waves. Above her in fancy blue letters was the words “Wave Rider”. At the bottom of the poster it said, “Have you seen these riders? Report a sighting at www. BanisterAirTrecks .com. ” Aung stared at the poster for a moment then grabbed it down. She dawned a horrified face, Who took this picture, of me?. Aung promptly crumpled the poster up and threw it into the trashcan on the other side of the counter. Hoping no one had seen her Aung turned around trying to calm herself.

Aung scanned the front of the store again and noticed a familiar outfit. A guy was walking up to the counter in the usual uniform of Shinanome high school, her school. Aung noticed that the young man had edited his outfit his jacket was undone, his tie loose, and his boxers showed over the top of his pants. Aung rolled her eyes at the look. She had seen plenty of guys with it back home. The look meant an arrogant boy who thought he was all that, and when it came to ATs there were sure a lot of those.

Kaname bought Aoi's items for her and rode home then back out again. She had less than an hour before work. She thought about buying new wheels so she raced off to a popular AT store where she could buy some parts. Upon entering the store she saw someone she knew from one of her classes walking up to the counter. He was a junior, just like Kaname and he was wearing the Shinanome uniform even if it was a little sloppy which made him stand out a bit against all of the other customers. The worn out ATs he usually carried told her that he was might be an extremist. Perhaps he knew of some team in need of a member even if she was a beginner in a way. She decided to occupy herself with one of the four arcade machines that the store had while he talked to the girl at the counter. She hated judging other before she really talked to them but she couldn't help but think that he was about to flirt with her. It wouldn't be too hard for him to get a date anyway. Kaname blushed at how childish she was being and pressed rapidly at the attack on the fighting game.

OOC: @Kiba: lol, about this part in your last post: "Aung noticed that the young man had edited his outfit his jacket was undone, his tie loose, and his boxers showed over the top of his pants." Well, when I pick pictures, I dont portray my character as them exactly. What I'm trying to say is that Soji's white shirt is buttoned up halfway, not exposing his entire body, so you might want to edit some of what you said.

Soji saw the eye roll that he was given as the counter girl scanned him. He chuckled, actually entertained by that. He reached the counter and took one last gaze at the shop, then turned to Aung. "Hey there........" He said, looking behind the counter to see some of the stock.

"I usually don't do this when I come to this shop, but mind givin' a good selection to a guy on a budget?" Soji said. Although his first intention was to flirt with the girl, and she was cute, without a doubt, he knew what had to be done first. ATs where his priority at the moment. "With a team, I'm not only making myself look bad, my teammates are looking pretty pathetic too, and I cant have that." Soji said, running a hand through his hair.

"One more thing......you new here? I come here a lot, and I dont recall seeing you behind the counter. Usually I'm forced to settle with old man Jenkins."

"Alright, you got it!" Aya yelled to Echine. His attitude assured her that he was not joking about the challenge, or his team. She got the vibe that he had a pretty strong passion for this, correct or not. "I'll be looking forward to it....." She muttered. She then applied a bit of pressure to her ATs, and shot off in the opposite direction.

Echine sighed as he began the long walk home. It was rather inconvenient but it couldn't be helped, he lived in a cheap apartment, and part of the reason it was so cheap was that it was a good distance from all the subway stops. There was a way that he could get on the subway and go a bit past his apartments and then walk back to shave about about three blocks off the walk but it really wasn't worth either the expense (he barely kept his food budget as it stood) or the effort. So he walked the 28 blocks from school to his apartment everyday. Sure he could use his ATs but he didn't want to use them overmuch, then he'd end up having to spend money in order to keep them in good condition and that notion didn't sit well with his allowance. Besides, it was better exercise to just walk the distance anyway.

He walked for sometime, walking down the narrow streets and alleyways to shave a few minutes of the trek and looking at the blue sky. No matter how warm it was there was always this gnawing chill at his bones, but he had learned to ignore that for the most part. It was one of the many things he had to live with.

The streets were jammed with people going to the subways from school or work and he pushed through the crowd as best he could. The shops were all open and there were many decent looking places but he mostly shopped at a small family owned grocer not far from his apartment. The owners knew about his situation and gave him a small discount of their good which he appreciated greatly and was perhaps the only reason he manage to live off the money he had while still having money to keep ATs. Course, if he really wanted to he could ask his parents for more money and no doubt they would give it to him, his father feeling indebted to him for a bad childhood and his mother just being the saint/martyr she was. But he knew that if he did they would be making cuts from their own standard of living and it just seemed selfish of him to ask more of them than he already did.

Finally he arrived at his flat and walked up the stairs to his room. It was a nice little room with a small stove/oven tucked away in a corner with a little counter top if he wanted to cook. He had bought a small refrigerator when he had moved in and the thing certainly looked like it had seen better days, its pipe somewhat rusted from the typhoon seasons when the roof would leak from the heavy down pour. His futon and blankets were still on the floor having long ago found there permanent place their after he realized that it was too much effort to return them to the closet each day. He had a small table which he used for studying and its surface was covered with papers and books to the point that the actual table itself was covered. Sadly it didn't have one of those nice warm blankets underneath to keep out the chill in colder months- he had made the executive decision to put that money into his AT after his friends from before decided to teach him.

Sighing he put a pot of tea on the stove to boil as he finished the last of his soda and tossed the bottle into a trash can. A loud thump reverberated through the flimsy floor as he set his books down next to the table and looked out the window, leaning gently on the sill with his elbows.

OOC: @Naruto: Actually I did not say his white shirt was undone I said the jacket was. The usual uniform for males in japan is the jacket in a dark shade and pants along with a nice white shirt underneath. I said the jacket was undone showing the white shirt. I know it would look way weird to look exactly like Soji does in the picture while walking around.

Aung studied Soji's face more now that he was closer. He was handsome to say the least and ladies must swoon over him, but Aung was not to be swayed. She stayed all business like and answered, "May I see your ATs, I can't properly say what parts need the most attention and what parts you can wait to replace? Usually people tend to be adding on to their ATs rather than buying a whole new set." Aung rethought her status. If she was to have this job than boys would come up to her all the time like this. If I don't adapt I'll be left behind, I must be nice to him, Aung thought in a serious manner.

Aung looked down then up agian, but now her face was completly different than before. She wore a bright, fake smile filled with all the hospatality of a seasoned hostess. "Yeah I'm new. I just moved here from a small town near the sea. My grandfather owned a shop on the boardwalk that had a lot of AT stuff. I'm actually going to a school called Shinanome high," Aung said hoping he had not seen her throw away that poster. She stole a quick glance at in the trashcan. What a stupid thing to do, why didn't I just throw it away in the trashcan behind the counter, Aung thought to herself a little worried.

The sudden change of attitude that Aung went through came off as a bit weird. He was instantly lead to believe that her shift was an act, but for the moment, he thought nothing of it. "You...want to see my ATs? Oh, well, that's thing, I kinda 'disposed' of them before I headed over here. It wouldnt take long to get get'em, but there's no real point to doing that. These things were broken down beyond belief. They moved slower than they did when they were first bought, and even I dont suck that bad." Soji said, jokingly.

"Shinanome, huh? You wont be suprised to find a Shina student everywhere you go. Matter of fact, your lookin' at one right now." Soji said, turning around to look at the shop. His glance crossed the trash can, where he saw something very interesting. Look at the picture of the girl on the poster, then looking back up at Aung, he thought, "Wh.....what the hell is........" Not wanting to get into any personal business, he played it off as if he saw nothing.

"Anyway, your working here. Most people that work here are into ATs themselves....so, do you fly?"

Aung thought for a minute before answering. "Not everyone flys the same. Only the greats ones can truly shed their earthly bounds and head for the sky. I digress, yes I do ride ATs in the almost futile attempt to sore in the sky like the birds and warriors of late. Before you ask I am already joining a team, Gnosi of Sophia." Aung twitched at her words, why had she said that. Now she had to both join a team and Gnosi at that. I guess I said it because I don't want to be chain to the ground I really do want to fly with the birds, into the endless sky, Aung thought to herself lightly. She smiled a true smile, she had a goal a dream to look to the sky for.

"Anyways, I guess I'll see you sometime at school. My names Aung, Aung Iwasaki," Aung said in a clear voice, holding out her hand to shake his. Her mind seemed to be preset on something......her desire to soar. "Heh, dont worry, I wasnt going to ask about teams and all." Soji said, looking straight down at the counter.

"You want to fly, hmm? Don't we all?" He muttered, looking out the door. "To really break free......heh, it's the dream of many, ya know. The shame is that, a lot of us rush into things like this.....they think that they have the right stuff, that their wings are pure enough.....just like Icarus did. See where he ended up? All I know is that my heart seems to be in a little bit different place, when I think of flying. But hey, we've all got a destiny, maybe mine is just a ta......."

Kaname finished the game, not chancing another quarter to continue stages. She glanced back at the boy to see if he was finished at the cash register. At first it seemed as if he was attmepting to flirt but the two seemed to flow into a light conversation. Kaname decided she really didn't need information, at least not bad enough to wait for someone she didn't know to finish their conversation that could possibly drag on for hours. She walked to a bench, reached into her mini-backpack, and replaced her ATs with normal athletic shoes. Then she stood and went to search for some new wheels. It didn't take her long for she knew what she wanted, being a regular customer here. She approached the cash register and realized that the girl behind it was a new worker.

Aung shook her own head her own thoughts disappating. "Well how much money do you have. Aung stopped the ladder 9 feet away from where it had started and unlock a case. She pulled out a pair of plain red ATs and locked the case agian. She jumped off the ladder and jogged back to the register.

"These should do nicely. There made to be added too, the original framework is sturdy and well built. Plus you can easily add graphic and other things. They should be in your price rang. And if not you can try a plan to pay them back over time..." Aung said to him watching his eyes move towards the trash bin.

He didn't want to build any ice between the two of them, so he decided that it just wasnt a good time to bring that up. When another customer came up, Soji simply stepped to the side. Aung took the wheels and scaned them into the register. She looked at the pricetag and took Kaname's cash. Aung checked the two together and said, "Your change is $4.62." A second later the register opened revealing, on the small screen facing Kaname the change amount flashed. Placed Kanames money into the register and handed her her change. "Thanks for your business, come agian. Those wheels are nice they'll work well with the air trecks I saw you wearing earlier." Aung said lowering her head under the counter to grab a bag for the wheels. She placed the wheels and recite in the bag and handed them to Kaname smiling.

The young man who had given her the shirt and read the sticky walked up.

"Whatever." Aung headed back to the bathroom and quickly changed her shirt and put on her ATs. Aung pressed lightly onto the back of the sole and her ATs rode smoothly back out to the store. Aung looked at Soji for a sec then said, "This guy wants to buy those ATs alright. He is strapped for cash so let him pay the other half when he gets the money, they are $70 all together." Soji finally finished strapping on his ATs and tapped the toe on the dusty store floor. "Just stop while your behind....now, let's see what these pieces' of work can do." His treks revved up, as Soji took one last look at the trash bin.

He slowly walked over and bent down, looking inside at the poster with Aung's face on it. Soji's arms reached out for it, grasping onto it tightly. Suddenly, they let go of the powergrasp, simply tearing the poster into pieces without taking another glance. Hayate kept up with Soji, he knew it been a while since they been together. He wanted to talk but because of his long separation between him and Soji, Hayate couldn't say anything...anything at all. But he hoped to keep up with Soji.

OOC: Sorry for not posting earlier. Doing some last minute work.

As Soji road, his eyes closed, he lived in the moment. Not riding for speed, not riding for tricks at the moment.......he just roade to ride. Suddenly, to peopel came up beside him. One of them was Hayate, who he had seemed to left when he entered the shop. The other was just a guy he saw around school at random times, but never really talked to.

Turning to Hayate, Soji understood he had more ice to break. Where to start, was the question. He slowed down, falling back a bit to come face-to-face with Hayate.

"Sorry about leavin' you back there, I had a couple 'a things to tend to." He said, scratching the back of his head. "Also, seems like I'm forced to leave you again......I really got to hurry home, but I'm sure we're gonna meet up again, a'ight?!" Soji said, skating off to the side, towards his home.

------------

Soji reached home, and almost literally busted through the door. He walked up to his room, trying to avoid any and all contact with Aya. For some reason, he just didnt feel in the mood to talk to his "little sister" at the moment, even though she was probably already in bed, exciting about the following day.

OOC: Alright, sorry for the abrupt end, but I'm ending this day of the RPG. The next posts I want are to be at the school, the beginning of the day.

OOC: Is it just me or did no one read the day is over... Oh well.

Aung scooted along the road towards the school. She mulled over yesterdays encounter and how she was going to join a team. Aung rubbed her head in the agony of the information. Within moments though she was at school, and it was time to make her first impression. That in itself was going to be difficult since she did not have the first clue about how she wanted people to see her. As Aung took off her ATs outside the school she thought about the night before.

Upon getting home she had studied the flyer in her bag and decided that yes she would join the team. It seem decent enough and it wasn't a big, infamous team. Aung had googled it and its creator to make sure. A cold breeze blew and she shivered a bit, Man these skirts are so short, Aung thought to herself as she climbed the steps. When Aung had been homeschooled she had just worn whatever seeing as she was on the computer and no one could see her. Wearing a uniform was something new to her.

As she walked to the classroom her new headmaster had pointed out to her Aung bumped into someone, a blue haired young man. He looked frail for being a high school student, but Aung didn't notice because she was off. The bell was ringing, it was the five minute marker, class would start soon and Aung didn't want to be late. Before sliding the door of room B-2 open she took a deep breath and smoothed her shirt and skirt.

Aung stepped inside with a calm, kind face she let only a slight nervousness show and stood in the corner at the front of the room waiting to be introduced. As she waited she pulled at the skirt shifting from foot to the other. Aung scanned the room seeing that it was still mostly empty she relaxed a little and analized her new homeroom.

It was the next day, and Soji, like usual, woke up just a little late. He quickly got himself ready, putting on his Shinonome uniform. He stared down at his new pair of somewhat "bland" red ATs, and sighed. "We've got a lot of work to do, my friend....but that can wait. I've got other priorities at the moment."

---

Meanwhile, in the room across from him was Aya, whom had been ready for the longest time. What had her fretting was the question: "What ATs would she wear today?" She had three pairs, all in pretty good condition, but she would be tested for the Gnosi of Sophia today, and she couldn't come with some rag-tag skates. She simply chose a middle pair, which was a combination of a normal blue and black. She didn't want to try and show up too 'flashy,' as it would give Echine the wrong impression.

---
Soji and Aya both shot out of the house at almost the exact same time, then sped down the road. "So, what's got you in a hurry?"

"I've got a couple things that I need to handle after school, and its got me pretty excited!" She yelled out to the world. She brushed off her uniform and sighed, turning to Soji. "You?"

Soji smiled, looking straight up at the sky. "No real reason.....at least, nothing that you need to know about.

The two of them finally made it to the school, just in time for the bell to ring in their face. This having happened plenty of times before, they knew what had to be done. The two of them looked at each other, a grin crossing both of their faces. Their classes were on opposite sides of the school, so the moved away from each other and leaped onto the school, beginning to ride straight up it.

Soji's class was near the top of the school, so he had to push it a little. As he road up the wall, the pressure of his ATs caused a couple of sparks, similiar to those of fire. He reached his room and grabbed to the ledge, then opened it up and jumped through. His entrance was seen by most of those in the class, although that wouldnt be many. The most important thing is that he was not caught by the teacher, whom had not been in the room in the moment. "Smooth."

Soji walked over to his desk and looked around at the commotion in the room. Suddenly, his was stunned to see something he didnt expect: Aung Iwasaki at the corner of the room. He was good and prepared to walk up to her and start another conversation, but he was stopped by the teacher entering the room.

After the teacher strode in a huge amount of students rushed into the room half-heartly taking there seats. Aung sighed, she may have had awesome grades, but the honors class had been filled, and it was an obvious disapointment to Aung. The bell rung agian signalling the start of class and the class settled down somewhat. The teacher cleared his throat and motioned for Aung to come over. Slowely with growing confidence Aung walked to the front and center of the room, next to the teacher. He for a moment ignored her and had the class pass up their homework for yesterday. Then with a steady hand he wrote her name on the blackboard, the smell of chalk entered her nose, Aung sneesed her eyes watering a little.

As she looked up she noticed a formiliar face at the back of the room, Soji, Just my luck.

"Now this is our new transfer student Aung Iwasaki. Please treat her well and try not to scare her off," the teacher said in a joking tone. Aung was tempted to role her eyes, but remembered where she stood. With grace Aung curtsied and brought her head up smiling.

"Hello, as Sensei said my name is Aung Iwasaki and I transfered here from a small town on the west coast. I was ranked third in my grade for the whole county. I'm am very glad to meet you all," Aung relayed in a pretty voice.

"You may take a seat in the back next to Mr. Kanihoto. Sorry we have no seats in the front available, but I have to keep the misbehavors close by. After class is over I would like someone to escort Miss Iwasaki around the school and teach her about us," the teacher said in a calm voice getting ready to really start class. Many of the young boys in the class raised there hands making Aung blush, but the teacher just started talking abut how messy and wrong the homework was.

Aung made her way back to her seat and sat down taking out a pencil and and notebook to write notes in. She looked intently at the board, listening to what the teacher had to say.OOC: Are we suppose to refer to the teacher as Sensei, Japanese, or Teacher, American???

OOC: Hmm, let's go with sensei.

Aung seemed to be acting as sweet as can be, in a direct contrast to how she acted at first, yesterday. Soji, now positive it was an act, sighed. "Who does she think she's fooling? A few fake smiles, a curtsy here and there.....I can tell this day is going to be a bit eventful."

The fact that most of the guys in the class instantly offered to show Aung around tempted Soji to bust out in laughter. Instead, he simply chuckled as she made her way to the back of the room, sitting next to her. Without turning his head, he looked forward and whispered to Aung, "So, we meet again?" He said, grabbing his pencil.

"Ya know, I never got to thank you for settin' up that deal for me to pay of these things." He said, still wearing his ATs in class. "So, thanks. And by the way, nice act up there." Soji said, implying the fact that he saw straight through her "disguise," if you will.

Aung, now out of site rolled her eyes, the fact that she was seated next to Soji irked her, but she ignored it. When he spoke to her she noticed the seating arrangment around the two of them. It was very...intriuging, and Aung relized that Soji did have a position of power here. People respected him, no doubt because of his AT skills. Aung let her thoughts drift to what kind of Storm Rider he was, but shook her head at the thought. Only then did she come back to the real world and hear that he was talking to her.

"Just because I met you yesterday does not mean, you mean anything more to me than any other boy," replied in a curt tone. She listen to the Sensei only to see that he was at least two weeks behind her. Oh well so much for getting farther into school, maybe if I tell Grandpa this he will change his mind and let me come, Aung thought excitedly. For a second she flashed back to the poster of her riding on the sea, Maybe I don't want to return, No don't be silly of course I want to go home.

Although he was hit by the words she said, he was glad for one thing: She was finally showing her true colors to them. No matter how rough these colors were."Now, I didnt imply anything like that. All I did was thank you.....is it a felony?" He asked, lying his pencil down in the groove on the desk. "I see that your quite the actor, the way you pretended to be a sweet young girl."

"It seems when in a one-on-one session, you show your true colors." Suddenly, the image of that poster popped up in his head, as he store at Aung from the corner of his eyes, his head turned away. "But if you dont want a conversation, then that's fine by me. But of course, your still going to need some kind of tour." He said. "There's plenty of guys in here that want to be the lucky one to do that." Soji whispered, looking up at the ceiling. He himself did not care that much for being the "teacher" type, or a leader at all, unless it was Air Trek related.

"But whatever, I'd like to see the result of whomever you pick, should be a pretty nice experience." What he meant by that sentence, not even he was completely sure of it. All he could do was smile, taking notes down off the board.

"By...," Aung stopped herself before the sentence began. She was about to flirt, that boy had almost gotten her to flirt without even knowing it. Aung was furious and turned around to glare at him. This boy is someone to watch out for, Aung thought wairly.

"YOU ARE NOT AT ALL INTERESTING!" Aung declared the next second without thinking. She covered her mouth in supprise. A good portion of the class turned around to look at her. Aung sank in her chair lowering her head, her face red with embarrasment.

"Miss Iwasaki I will make an exception because you are new, but I do not allow outburst or tomfoolary in my classroom. May we please return to class?" Sensei said swooping in at thought his class might be disrupted. He added, "You should be more like Mr. Kanihoto, with that thought, I think he should be a fitting person to take you around today."

Aung's eye twitched and her mouth dropped.

"Yes," she responded in a barely audiable voice. Now this this boy had gotten her on the sensei's bad side and ended up on the his good. How could this possibly have happened, Aung thought to herself misreably. Her head dropped to her hands and she stared at the board drowning in her own self pity, not even bothering to look at Soji.

"Not interesting, am I?" Soji joked toward Aung.

He then turned to sensei and shook his head, then stood up in his seat. "Nah, I'm a lot more rotten that I act in school, sensei. Dont think anything of this, you can actually say that it was pretty much my fault." Before getting a response from his sensei, Soji sat back down, a curved smile shining off of his face. Continuing to take notes, and without even turning his head to Aung, he muttered only a few words......

"Looks like your stuck with me." The feeling that Soji felt at the moment was one he hadn't had in a long time. For once, something actually went the way that he was hoping it to go. His mind had hundreds of thoughts running through his head, but there was only one that he cared to pay attention to: "Victory."

For the next twenty minutes or so Aung doodled furiuosly on a peice of loose paper. When the bell rung at the end of the period signaling lunch for the juniors Aung hurrily got up hoping that she may avoid Soji. In her rush, her papers flew all over the place. Aung controled her emotions and started to pick up the papers. Soji went to help and picked up a peice of paper. Aung snatched it from his grasp, but only after he had clearly seen what was on it.

The paper was not just mindless scribles, but detail plans on how to gain revenge on a boy. The boy was most obviously Soji, and the plans were not the kind he might of hoped. There were images of him being crushed by books and of him in a giant pot of boiling oil.

"I don't need your help I can find my own way around here by my self." Aung said placeing her things in her bag. She went to the doorway and carefully slid the door open. The hallway was a mess of students people going everywhich way. Aung could barely figure out how to the leave the room without being trampled let alone, where to go to eat lunch. Crap.

Soji chuckled at the fact that she was plotting his demise. "Boiling oil...........what's pretty creative, actually." He though. He watched as Aung was obviously unable to exit the room. Seeing as it was her first day, he didnt expect her to know where their next period, lunch, was to be held. He walked up to the door pane and leaned against it, looking at Aung.

"Ok, now I know you probably hate my guts right now, but let's both face it: Your kind of stuck with me here. The halls are a dangerous place, speaking from experience. Also, your new......I highly doubt that you know exactly where the lunchroom is, right?"

Soji sighed, then looked into the hall of rushing kids. They shot past the door at speeds that could prove dangerous to any bystanders. "And unless you want to be bunched up with some ***-grabbing skirt-flippin' pervs in this hall, you should listen to the sensei and let me help you out." He tapped the tip of his ATs on the door pane before looking back down at Aung. "Just.....just give me a chance, will ya? I'm not THAT bad of a guy that you would want to boil me alive in oil."

Aung looked up at Soji, he was a good bit taller than her, but he wasn't that tall... What is with this place, Aung thought confused. she thougth about what he said seriously though. Once while searching for an innocent picture she had accidentaly came across a hentai website and was unable to go on the computer for weeks. She blushed at the thought of boys really doing things and decided since Soji had her interest in mind he would be a decent guide. Aung sighed in a slight defeat, but did not ignolige his comment on her pictures.

"Fine. Lead the way," she said moving to let him go through. Her stomach rumbled loudly at the thought of food and she grinned impishly. She hadn't eaten breakfast, but had packed a huge lunch. Just the thought of the bento box made her own mouth water. Its not as if any of this is my fault. I think I'll just go with the flow for awhile. Aung thought to herself pleasantly, following Soji out of the safety of the room.

Soji smiled at Aung, glad to have finally one this little bout of theirs. "Gladly." He said, walking out of the room.

When he left, a large group of girls made their way to the middle of the hall. The girls all divided the hall into 3 parts, pushing most people out of the way. In front of Soji and Aung was a completely free section of the hall, made free by the group of girls. "P-Please, Soji! Come on through, this way you won't have a hassle on your way to lunch!" yelled one of the girls, blushing intensely. This girl was quite young, seemingly on a freshman.

Soji turned to Aung and scratched the back of his head. "What can I say, huh? I mean, at first it was nice, but this tends to happen a lot now.....it gets kind of annoying. Anyway, come on." Soji walked through, the girls struggling to keep back the rest of the hall from harming him. Soji stopped at the young freshman girl and stared at her, as she was still beet red. He smiled and put his hand on her shoulder. "Thanks." Soji thought that since he was in a good mood, he'd speak to one of them.

The girl nearly collasped Soji and Aung walked away. Afterward, the hall returned to normal as Aung and Soji made it out of the crowd. He nudged toward the lunchroom and put his hands in his pockets. "Sorry 'bout that, it was kinda embarassing. Anyway, there's the lunchroom. We dont have much time to eat though, cause I still have to give you a tour of the school, right?" He asked, arching an eyebrow.

Aung thought of her bento box, and the tour. As much as she didn't want to spend any extra time with Soji she did want to see the school and she did want to eat lunch. Guess I will have to use that, Aung thought walking beside Soji.

Aung edged away from the girls they kinda creeped her out. Alot of them were now seeing Soji was not alone. They obviously were not happy that any one girl would hog his attention. If Soji truly planned on making her his friend or something more he would defiantly not be doing her any favors.

Aung grabbed Soji's wrist and rushed through the girls trying to avoid their glares.

"Hey Soji the headmaster said whoever gives me a tour can spend the rest of the afternoon doing it. I guess you should give me the tour and then we can eat lunch," Aung said unaware she was still holding onto Soji. She let go out of habit stroking her chin like an old man thinking of the best use of their time. Almost forgetting that Soji was there in the first place.

Echine work for a couple hours to finish all his homework for the week as well as the paper which would be due next friday, this would free him up from school concerns for a while and give him a bit more freedom. Turning on the TV, he watch the news for a little while to see if anything was happening on the Ethiopian-Somalian border but, as usual, it was a tense calm.

He gave his ATs a quick once over to make sure they were still in good working condition and then lay down on his bed to sleep.
---

Echine walked onto campus with precious little time before the bell rang. His mind was taken up with thoughts of how he would handle the first practice for the Gnosis of Sophia. Would he ease the girl into it? Work her hard the first day to test her willingness? Put her through some quick tests to gauge her skills? There was an endless possibility of potential set ups for the practice, and as team leader it was his responsibility to set up an optimal mix of conditioning, skill training, and team building so that they would be able to handle everything when there first match rolled around.

Suddenly he felt a slight thumped and looked down to see some brown haired girl had bumped into him but she quickly moved past him and was off so he shrugged it off without thinking.

He found himself not long after sitting at his desk staring at the sky.
---

When lunch rolled around he went to the water fountain and drank until he was stuffed and then headed back to his room but loiter slightly by a window where he stared at the sky and the scenary for a while. He had always been what one might call a "lethargic" person. Not to say he was lazy, only when he had nothing to do he tended to do nothing. When left to his own devices he moved in a slow deliberate fashion rather than rushing around like most people. He was a bit of the "smell the roses" type but he didn't mind to much, he figured it allowed him to get pleasure out of what was otherwise a fairly meager little life. Rotting away as the youngest kid in the senior clas (which tended to keep him from making any friends, he was after all younger than a fair number of sophmores).

Haji looked out of his window. School would start in five minutes. He was fifteen minutes away from the school. If he left now he would be two and a half minutes late. Now he had twelve minutes due to the fact that he was thinking.

"Oh well let see what these new parts can do." Haji toke the new pair of AT's out of the box. Their were other parts in the box for him to use and trick out his new and old pairs.

"Haji are you still not ready for school?" Kyoko was sitting outside his window in her uniform. Haji growled and put his shirt on. "How come you are here and not a school? Your grades are lower then my own. We are in the same class and sit five desks away. I sit by the window in the back next to that very smart young boy. Yeah the one with the Storm Rider team." Kyoko shook her head and laughed. She turned around and stepped into Haji's room. She wrapped her hands around his chest as he put his shirt on. She stopped him and kissed him.

"Just because you cheat doesn't mean i do." She laughed and kissed his neck. He hated that. She new he didn't cheat but it was still fun messing with him. She turned and jumped out of his window speeding toward the school. Five minutes left.

Haji finished dressing and strapped his school shoes to his shoulders. He looked at the clock and growled. She did it again. Tried to make him late. Haji shot out of his window and sped down the street. Everything became a blur as his body flashed in and out as the school came closer and closer to him.

A huge dust cloud behind him Haji look at the window. Class would start in one minute. He jumped into the air and soared above the school. Kyoko looked at him from the window with his class. He landed in the class as the bell rang and the teacher walked in. Haji sat down and acted like nothing happened.

Lunch was boring. Haji just returnedto his class and noticed the young any he and Kyoko talked about. Haji didn't say a word but sat down in the teacher chair and looked out of the window. Man was the bright sky so beautiful.

OOC: I just came home from school and there's already a third page. @_@

Kaname had gone to work just to see some guys from her school loitering around just to see her anf flirt with her as well as some of the other workers. Kaname didn't act rude nor did she flirt back. She treated them just as any other customer and answer their unnecessary questions bluntly. Her red and white uniform did not make the matter better at all either.

That night when she returned home Aunt Aoi had left her a note saying that she was working night shift at the club she bartended at. Which left Kaname alone to do whatever she pleased. With that thought in mind, she grabbed her ATs and rode out the door, deciding to change her wheels later when they were a little more worn down. The park was where Kaname met up with friends to practice or just to ride. She spent her time there until about eleven-thirty then sped home to rest for the following day.

---

School was so humdrum to Kaname. She didn't have any close friends yet, only a student at Shinanome for a few months though she did have friends. Though, she wasn't the type of person to socialize in class and she hadn't joined any club activities because of her job. Making friends was not a priority to Kaname anyways. If she made friends, she made friends, if she didn't she could be a loner. It didn't matter to her. As long as she could fly, she almost didn't even care if she was fired from her job. Almost.

Class B-3 was an advanced class but not honors. Kaname didn't want to try too hard but she also didn't want to have those students who disrupt class the entire time. She came to class and sat down, adjusting her shorts under her skirt that she always wore even back in Osaka because she didn't want the chance of her undergarments being revealed to the world because some perverted boy wanted a panty shot. Besides, she loves the dissappointed remarks that she hears coming from those very boys. She's not sadistic but that kind of situation is only one of the few things that she can say that she is victorious in.

Lunch came pretty quick. Kaname felt dead to her lessons but it mattered not to her. It was easy stuff she could learn within ten minutes of reading a book. She strode down the hall with the bento Aoi had made for her, avoiding the windows of the hallway and the way they reflected her dimly as if mocking her. She was used to this. She didn't even look in the mirror when she brushed her hair. She couldn't remind herself of Akane, it hurt too much. She knew she shouldn't revel in the past but to be so close to someone...

Kaname shook her head, feeling tears stinging her eyes which she wiped away a little angrily. Stop thinking. You're being overdramatic... Kaname hed her head up and saw the girl from the store yesterday stroking her chin as if in thought and the boy beside her. She didn't know that the girl went to school her as well. Shinanome students were easy to find apparently.

Then Kaname realized this was her chance. She could ask him about the teams. She also realized that that boy was Kanihoto Soji. She didn't know much about him just that some of the girls she talked to were obsessed with him. Kaname stared for a second longer before she started walking, hoping that she wasn't staring too long. He'd probably think she was a fangirl or something. "Excuse me, are you Kanihoto-san?" She asked in her soft casual tone that she always used for strangers but listening to herself she thought she sounded as if she was about to give him a love letter or something. She mentally sighed. It was too late to do anything about it now.

Hearing a girl behind her Aung sighed, Not another one. When Aung turned around to study the girl she didn't find a fangirl like she had suspected. In the stead was a bird, a bird that longed to fly in the sky just like her and even Soji longed to. Aung smiled warmly at Kaname. She only hoped that Soji wasn't an idiot and realized this was AT business not love life.

"Hi my name Aung Iwasaki, I'm in new around here. You'll have to forgive me if I don't know your name I just transfered today. Are you in my class." Aung asked with real interest. Someone who loves ATs this much will definatly be an awesome friend, Aung thought pleasantly. "I know you were trying to talking to Soji, but would like to join us for lunch. I would prefer if I wasn't alone during lunch." Aung smiled a girl to girl smile. One that said she didn't like Soji.

Kaname turned and looked at Aung and threw a genuine smile back at her. So she was new. No wonder she hadn't seen her around school before. "Nice to meet you Aung. My name's Kaname Kirasaki. I don't think we're in the same class. I'm in class B-3. I haven't seen you before now so, probably not." The smile that Aung gave her told Kaname enough. The girl didn't want to be alone with Soji. "And I'd love to join you for lunch... that is if Soji doesn't mind." She looked to said boy that read 'You should agree because 1. we're girls, and 2. you probably wouldn't have a choice in the matter.'

He began to turn that smile toward Aung as well, but as she gave Soji a true, but very cold, smile, Soji instantly turned back to Kaname. "Good to meet you, Kaname, and sure, come and join us! Not like I have some kind of say in it either way."

"Damn........I this girl is like the ice queen, ain't she?" He thought, thinking of that devilish stare she gave to him. Soji then looked down to Kaname, smiling. "At least there's somebody here I can talk to without having to learn to sleep with my eyes open........."

OOC: Understood, I think it would discourage people. But the look I gave Kaname, the smile, was meant to be a gentler one. I tried to word it so as to say she was "uncomfortable" at being alone with Soji. I don't want him to think of her as and Ice queen. Also the post was especially there so that Soji could see that she wasn't always like that. With girls she was perfectly fine and normal, its just generally with guys.

BIC: Aung nodded in agreement and followed Soji to where ever he was taking them. Where else could they go as students to eat besides the cafeteria or the class room. As she pondered this Aung stared out the windows they passed by. The sky looks so beautiful today. The trees seemed to be teased by the wind. They are tied down to the earth un able to fly and be free. Oh what a horrible fate that would be. Aung thought as she walked briskly down the hall. She noticed they were heading up, not down as she assumed they would be. I wonder if he knows he is heading towards the sky or not, Aung wondered as she giggled softly to herself. She stole a glance at the young man beside her and closed her eyes trying to imagine what he looked like when he flew.

Suddenly Soji stopped at a door and opened it wide. Aung stepped out only to be swept up in a gust of wind. Her skirt blew up, but she didn't take much notice only enjoying the wimsicolness(sp?) of the wind. Aung spun around in place causing her skirt to ruffle in different patterns, even the short shorts she wore under her skirt moved with the wind. Just as soon as the gust arrived it dissapeared, leaving the three of them on the roof of the school.

Aung turned around and said, "Thank you Soji, for showing me this wonderful place." She smiled a true smile at him and ran to one of the picnic tables to sit. She took out her large bento box and opened it all nice and neat, quickly asking the wind to give them a little peace while they ate their lunches. She started to dig into her lunch not bothering to wait for the others. She hadn't realized how hungry the last few days had made her.

OOC: Huh? Oh, the Ice Queen thing was just a joke, dont worry about it. :D

Soji scratched his head, a little confused at what had happened just now. Acting of completely hatred toward Soji, then suddenly acting as if there wasnt a single care in the world for her, Aung just confused Soji more and more. Even when the wind was to blow her skirt up, Soji watched to no reaction of Aung. He never thought of Aung as one to not mind something like that, so he was instantly intrigued.

"..............It's weird.....the wind blew, and all of a sudden......." Soji was close to giving up, seeing as this girl was quite the complicated one. He turned to Kaname and nudged toward the table that Aung was sitting down at. "Might as well, right? Come on." He said to her, walking toward Aung's table. Soji himself did not have a lunch, but he wasnt really in the much of a mood to eat, so it was alright. He walked over to Aung, whom was happily digging viciously into her food.

He softly placed one hand on the table and looked down toward Aung. "Ok.....can I ask you something? What the hell's going on?" Soji said, supsiciously of what exactly was up with Aung.

Kaname followed the two to the roof of the school. She had not been here yet. There was a sudden burst of wind when they opened the door though she didn't mind. It felt good. It reminded her of gliding through the sky on her ATs.

She smiled at Aung who seemed like such a kindered soul. The sensation Kaname had just then was like seeing her sister again. Alive and running to the table, but the thought and image blew away with the wind. No time to ponder on such things. She looked to Soji and flashed him a smile before walking to the picnic table as well, sitting herself beside Aung.

Kaname took out her red ribbon her mother had given her when she left home and tied her hair firmly in a low ponytail before digging into her bento which strangely tasted better than usual though it wasn't really the taste of it. It was the feeling of eating it. She realized Aung made her feel more at ease than any of the girls she regularly sat with for they chattered about things that she really didn't care for like how handsome some boy was, or gossip, which Kaname resented. Once Kaname had brought up ATs and the girls hardly spoke a minute about it before moving onto a top about some guy and how cool he looked in his Air Treks. That very guy they were talking about was no other than Soji.

Said boy suddenly asked Aung what was going on. What was he talking about? Actually, Kaname thought, she did have a sudden attitude change when she came up here.

OOC: Lol, I understand the feeling Shobu. All this morning It would take me like fifteen to twenty minutes to post. And then like five to ten minutes after I posted there would be K. Naruto with his reply. Haha.

Aung looked up from her food. She whiped her shin with a napkin and looked at both Kaname and Soji curiosly.

"Well, I guess its because I just don't like guys that much. They are arrogant, celf-centered, unreasonable, erational, and generally untrustworthy," Aung stated in a very matter of fact way. She nodded her head up and down as if agreeing with herself and then looked at the spot in front Soji. She was quite prone to letting Soji starve, but *Nature won out on Nurture and she scooted some of her home-made lunch over to him. Just to be fair Aung scooted a little over to Kaname too.

"And the reason I'm "normal" with girls is because...well I can relate to them, but the average girl is pretty erational too..." Aung mulled this over in her head, but chose to ignore her own inconsistances. She put down her chopsticks and said in a calm tone, "I just love to fly more than I dislike anything."

*Nature Vs. Nurture is a common argument in which you determine what a person will grow up to be like. Nature is based on genes and genetics, what your parents were like. Nurture refers to how you were raised and what experiences you have. This argument says that who you are can change depending on how and by whom you were raised.

OOC: What're you tryin' to say?lol

"Arrogant......erational......untrustworthy.....cel f-centered.....that's what you say boys are like, huh?" No matter how cute Aung was, Soji was pretty damn pissed off at her saying that. If there was anything that he hated the most, it was when people became just a tad to quick to judge him, or anybody. He stood up, placing both his hands on the table.

"So, that's what you think of me, and all the other guys you've met since you've came here, huh?! How can you just come out and say something like that?! What makes you think that some guys have no resemblence to your 'description' of them? When you've met every man on this earth, and you've completely verified that your description of them is as you say, then you can say something like that. Until then, though, you dont have much right." Soji declared, beginning to cool down.

"Now, I dont know if you've had past experiences like that, and if you have, then I guess all that I'm saying should be void, but I just want you to know that all guys aren't like that." Soji sat down, then looked at the food in front of him. He softly pushed it back over to Aung. Although he was calmed down, the fact that he was not only going to remember what she said, but also wasn't very hungry, led him to say, "I'm fine, thanks."

OOC: Ok, I'll give one more post, then I'm done for tonight, not wanting to leave to many people behind. I'll be setting a posting limit soon, so watch out.

She was somewhat stunned by his reaction, but only for a moment. She stood up in response eyes filled with emotion. She was much shorter than Soji, she still seemed as though she was near the same height.

"I did not say that that was what all men are like. If it seemed to you that I was going beyond generalizing than I am sorry, but It has been my experrience to see those things. I have met only two men who have never wanted anything more from me than for me to be myself. Every other has always demanded something in their own way from me. They want to take away all that is me and never hand over any of themselves. They did not wish for my well-being only their own. How do you expect me to react when I meet someone, but to be on guard. If everyone is always trying to take something from you and never...never ever wanting to give anything in return!!!" Aung responded angrily. "And just because you do not feel hungry does not mean that you are not. Air Trecks require lots of energy."

Aung sat down agian and closed her bento box signaling that she was not going to take back the food. She turned to Kaname and apoligised over and over agian for the inerruption. After that she sipped slowly at her lemenade box, staring off into the distance as if she was trying tp remember something.

OOC: Here's where part of Soji's 'other' personality comes in.

Soji studied closely to what she said......saying that she had been used before. Soji, although at times he may act very foolish, knew that he was blessed with the life that he has had. When somebody begins to talk about past experiences, it's just something that gets to him. "Aung.......I'm sorry." He said, his hair hanging over part of his face. "Listen.......from what you said, I can easily take it that you've gone through some relationships before, and things like this come careful to you. You said.....people used you.........and I'm truly sorry for what I said."

"I myself wouldnt know what going through a hardship like that would be......but I know that it was foolish for me to say that without knowing what you've gone through." He straightened the hair over his face and slowly pulled back the food given to him by Aung. "I just want you to know that.....I myself do not want to put you through anymore pain that you've already gone through. I'm sorry. I guess that those simple words, to you, are completely empty, and I dont blame you for thinking that." Soji said. He now realized that it was not ice that needed to be broken, it was thoughts that needed to be changed.

Soji began to eat. "Thank you." he said, his eyes closed. Knowing now that Aung had been in past relationships and was hurt each time gave Soji a tiny bit of understand to why she acts the way she acts. He only wished that he himself knew that feeling, just to have something in common with her. For, no matter how popular he may be with girls, he has never been in a real relationship. Not because he didnt commit....he just never found somebody he could love.

Haji watched the boy read his book. His eyes were free but at the same time they had to glow of someone Haji once knew. His father. Haji stood to his feet and walked over to the one called Echine. He sat down in the desk in front of him and turned the seat around. He looked him up and down and smiled before rebaining his hand out for a shake. "Hey my name is Haji. I've seen you around before but never really seen you talk to anyone. If you don't mind i'd like to be your friend. Even if we are apart of two different storm rider teams. " Haji grinned and waited for his agreement to be turned down or accepted.

Elsewhere in the lunch room Kyoko talked with other girls about boy's and most of them talked about Soji. Kyoko only laughed and ignored them. She was one of the most beautiful girls in the school but she never drooled over Soji or anyone else. She grinned and stood ignoring what was said about her and Haji. She walked over to the table Soji was at the sat down beside him. She grinne and looked at him before looking at his company. "Oh hello i'm Kyoko. Nice to meet you all." Kaname sat in silence, allowing the two to say what they pleased if only to let them blow steam or settle something. Kaname could sympthatize with that Aung said but that did not mean she could agree completely. If one really thought about it men were just like women, just different in body parts and the way they do things. Kaname dared not shared her thoughts in fear it would only prolong their arguement so she just ate her food in silence until Aung finally sat down and apaologized to her. "There's no need for an apology Aung," she said with a small smile. She really didn't mind though she did wish they didn't argue but there was nothing Kaname, a person who just was merely there for lunch, could do about it.

Kaname looked toward Soji, whose personality changed. Odd. She was glad that he had attempted to calm her with understanding words. He was acting quite mature. It was pleasant. When he sat down and started eating again Kaname surmised that he had never been in love before when Aung on the other hand has been and was left in a bad situation where she had lost her trust in men. These two were somthing else.

"I don't think I'm making this any better but-" Just then a girl came over with a mask of a smile, greeting them. Kaname couldn't help but think that this girl wasn't here to make friends. It was a gut feeling and Kaname was on gaurd.

Normally, people start with idle banter to make sure that the person they want to be friends with isn't a complete jerk before they go about making grandiose statements. But who am I to judge?" Echine sighed with a vague hint of good-natured sarcasm, pointing out the awkwardness of what Haji had just said given the context. "Now was there something you needed?" he said pulling up his muffler a little bit with slight tugs of his fingers.

The kids were now beginning to return from wherever they had gone during lunch and milling about the room with nervous inactivity as they waited for the teacher to get back and school to resume.

After saying what he had to say, and quickly finishing off the part of the bento given to him by Aung, Soji turned to Kaname, who was smart enough to not enter the argument. Also, she didn't seem to be very annoyed by it, which suiprised Soji. Thinking of being here with both Aung and Kaname gave Soji a good feeling, not being around girls that would fall all over him. Suddenly, though, this feeling was lost as another girl came to the table. She smiled to him, then turned to Aung and Kaname. She greeted them all, giving Soji an idea that she was an alright person, that was, until he saw through that fake smile. He was SERIOUSLY getting tired of seeing those.

Kyoko could tell by their eyes that they saw right through her smile. They way Soji moved his body told her that this wasn't the first time he saw a fake smile. Maybe he wasn't a jerk. Just maybe he could turn out to be a great partner in helping Haji learn. Now if only she could get i'm alone after school. Then she could talk.

Haji pulled his hand back and looked at Echine. His any was remarkable. His eyes had already studied Haji and them he came back with body language that even Haji couldn't see through. "So could i ask if you know anything about the team Blade Dance?" Haji smiled and looked at the boy. Haji knew everything he needed to know but he wanted more. Which he had learned from Soji's sister but that wasn't terribly important so he left it out, "They came in after I had left the business and now that I'm coming back all the teams are foreign to me. Even if I did know, I make a policy of not flinging about information about teams that isn't common knowledge, you never know who could be listening... or asking the question for that matter" Echine leaned back in his chair and looked out the window, underemphasizing the most important part of his sentence in a fashion which, for him, was rather typical.

Maybe he should in and check on Kyoko. She did love to flirt maybe she wasn't but Haji wasn't sure. Haji stood to his feet and looked at Echine. "So i guess i'll be seeing you around............" Haji turned and put both hands in his pockets. He waved and left the room. He learned nothing about his style only that he was smart and nine times out of ten he would be able to out smart him in battle. Haji had to think about how he would fight him. Kaname turned her attention back to the girl. The fake smile was annoying her a little but she didn't say anything. The last thing Kaname needed was enemies. He held up one of his pale, thin hands in front of his face and sighed as he watch the hand open and close, the first closing being accompanied by a satisfied crick of a bone resetting itself after falling slightly out of place. As she gave him a parting word, Soji turned to her. "Yeah, sure alright." He said, somewhat uneasily. Aung also alerted him that he still had a tour to give him, and he nodded, "A'ight, gotcha."

Then it was just Soji and Kaname. He did remember that the reason he met her WAS because she had something to say to him, so he cupped his hands, resting his chin upon them. "Now, Kaname. Now that Aung was away from the others she too showed her emotions. In comparison to Kyoko's her emotions though were more in control and her mouth wore a strange smile.

"imhm," Aung let out a small laugh. "Why are you so interested in Soji? I have a feeling its not because you have feelings for him. And from the way your acting, slightly hesitant in approaching Soji and confident in your own status. Do you already have a boyfriend perhaps? A jealuos one?"

Aung's eyes were closed not out of fear or respect, but out of relaxation. She open her eyes slowly revealing them and her own stare. Even though Aung's eyes were hazel at that moment they seem to reflect something. They didn't give off the same icyness that Kyoko's eyes did. They seem to give off a warmth like melted copper. As Aung stared longer into Kyoko's eyes something seem to reveal itself to Kyoko. It was as if a storm was gathering, but not any normal storm, a typhoon. Spinning round and round daring for someone to come close to be snatched away in it's crushing waves.

"You know that a typhoon is one of the most destructive things in all of mother nature it combines the harsh winds and the powerful, endless water to create something totally new. It would be good not to cross one don't you think?" Aung said with a smooth calm as if she was asking what they had for homework.

Aung blinked slowly and after that it seemed the typhoons dissapeared. "As far as I know Soji does not have a girlfriend, but he has plenty of fangirls who I'm sure would hate to see someone try and play with Soji." Aung said with the hint of a threat in each word. After that Aung signaled that this discussion was over and headed back towards Kaname and Soji.

Kaname looked to Soji and moved her trash out f the way, reminding herself to throw it away. For a second she forgot why she had come to talk to him. Her relaxation had dissolved when Kyoko had come over. It was as if Soji, Aung, and Kaname had a bubble and Kyoko, being an sudden extra bursted it. She almost told Soji to forget about it. But then she knew that she would end up asking him later anyways.

"That's right," she began, leaning forward to rest her arms on the table, "I was just wondering about the teams with ATs. I was thinking of joining one but I don't know anything about any of the teams nor do I know anyone who has a team. Plus, I'm not very experienced, I've only been riding for a few months... So I really don't know why I'm wasting you time with this..." She said, resting her chin on the palm of her hand. She wasn't looking at Soji but past him at the never-ending sky so blue with cloud so white and perfect that it seemed like a painting. I've got nothing but time on my hands, and even if I didnt, I wouldn't think this as wasting it. You've got something to say, so I'm all ears, no questions asked." Soji said, intent on what she had to say.

"So, it's about Blade Dance? Well, I'm always looking for new members, if that's what your thinking about. And a few months to a few years, anybody can soar if they put forth the effort to do so." He said, smiling with his eyes closed. He looked up toward the sky, a large group birds speeding through the sky, free as can be. "You want to soar, just like them, right? Well, if I can assist you just lemme know. I mean, most people aren't able to soar by themselves......it helps to have others with them."

Soji was somewhat beating around the bush, so he decided to come right out and say it. "You want to join my team, is that it?"

---

Aya had already finished her lunch, and was headed up to the roof for some fresh air. She opened the door, only revealing to herself that Soji, whom was accompanied by a couple of girls, seemed to be in a light conversation with one of them. "Soji? Heh, well, I've got nothing better to do." She thought, beginning to walk toward their table.

Kaname grinned, a rare sight to see even for Aoi. "I would love help learning to soar and I'd be more than happy to help you if you need it." She noticed that Aung was making her way back to them and another girl was walking to them as well.

Kaname felt herself ease up a bit. How convenient was it that Soji had a team? She didn't have to go searching... unless she couldn't become a member of his team. She chose to keep an optomistic point of view on the matter. Her father had always told her that optomism was the key to good luck.

At what she said, Soji blanked out for a second. A sweatdrop rolling down his face, he scratched the back of his head. "Oh, you didnt know I had a team? Damn, now I feel really dumb." He said, laughing. "In any situation, your welcome to join.....although, just to make sure of things, how about......"

Suddenly, Soji remembered something. Not too long ago, Aung told him that she was trying out for the team, Gnosi of Sophia, in the courtyard after school. He also remembered Aya saying something earlier today about joining the same team, in the same spot.

"You can.......just meet me somewhere around the courtyard later today, then I'll see if your good for us. But dont worry, I'm a big pushover." Soji turned to see Aung heading back to the table, but took a triple take when he saw Aya heading toward the table as well. "A.........Aya?" Soji said, a very confused look on his face.

Aya made it to the table and put her hand on the table, looking toward Soji. "Well, this is just a coincedence, isn't it, Soji?"

"No, I dont think so." He said, resting his head on his arm, resting his elbow on the table. "What do you want, Aya?"

Aya sat down beside Soji, looking into his eyes. "I just wanted to make it clear to you that I won't be coming home so early today, I had a feeling that your mind was somewhere else when I told you this morning." She turned to Kaname, smiling. "So sorry to intrude on your conversation here, my name's Aya Kurama."

Soji thought that instead of telling Soji whom Aya was to him, he was just going to sit back and let the two of them become acquainted with each other.

The girl that walked up to them introduced herself as Aya and Soji seemed to know her already. Kaname introduced herself to Aya, returning to her usual smile. That was the third time she's introduced herself today. "It's alright Aya we were just finished with it anyway. I'm Kaname Kirasaki. Nice to meet you." She had approached them much with a much more pleasant air about her than Kyoko did so Kaname felt she could relax.

OOC: Yo Kiba, if your there and dont want me to handle your character anymore, send me a PM as I see your on this page. If I dont get a PM in 15 or so minutes from this post, I'll edit it and put in Aung.

Soji smiles while leaning back, looking up into the sky. He then pulls himself up, ready to put in his two sense. "Kaname, this is my younger sister, Aya. Technically, we're not related by blood or anything, we just adopted her from a family that my own family was friends with. She's a lot less annoying once you get to know her, but from first impressions...." Soji shook his head.

Aya plucked Soji in the forehead, smiling. "Dont pay attention to him."

Just as that happened, the bell for lunch period to be over rang. Soji stood up, looking at the door to the roof. "Well, I can't deny I had fun with lunch, but, it looks like its over. Its a shame you came so late, Aya." Soji said, sarcastically. He looked around until he saw Aung, coming to their table. "Yo, Aung! We'd better get back on that tour, shouldn't we?"

Afterward, he turned to Kaname nodded. "Alright then, I'll see you in the courtyard after school."

Aya was quite shocked by what Soji just said. "Excuse me?" She asked, trying to comprehend what he meant by that. She already told them that SHE would be going to the courtyard after school, and what she had to do didn't inculde Soji at all.

Soji chuckled and looked at Aya with a fake confused face. "Who we talkin' about?" He said as he began to walk off, pointing toward Kaname. "Don't be fashionably late!" Soji joked, turning to Aung. "You ready get movin'?

Kaname chuckled lightly as the brother and sister interacted amusingly. It almost brought her to think of Akane again. Almost. She stood as well when the bell rang, trashing her empty bento. She laughed again at the face Soji made at Aya. "I'll try not to," she joked as well, considering the fact that she was obviously not a fashion freak.

With that she exhanged her goodbyes with the three of them and walked her locker then her next class. Her adrenaline with rushing and she waited in anticipation for the school day to end.

OOC: Alright, I'm ending this school day for we can progress to the more important things. This post here will be during the tour given by Soji to Aung of the school, and will also end the school day.

Soji and Aung had made their way to the hallways from the roof. Most of the kids were already in their classes, so the hall had much more room. Still, though, a few girls bystood as Soji walked by, giggling and blushing while. "The first part of this tour will be my fan-base. Although I appreciated it at first, its now gotten annoying. Please, do not touch, as I will not be responsible for stragglers whom get lost or damaged due to being seen with me." He joked.

The fact that Soji joked in this tour slightly annoyed Aung, but she still let out a tiny chuckle. "If you could act serious, then we can finish this earlier."

The two of them walked through the hall, where they came upon a set of large doors. "Right here is where your going to find the library, the school is big on literature. To the left of the library is where you'll find classes D1, 2, 3, and 4. To the right goes the same for the C classes. Our class, as you already know, is upstairs, nowhere near these here classes." The two of them walked past the C room halls, entering something not seen in much schools.

A hall that seemed to be almost entirely devoted to Air Trek.

"What's.......this?" Aung asked, staring in awe at the hall. Never had she thought that something like this would exist in the halls of a school like Shinanome. It's like I've stepped into a completely different place!

"It's like steppin' into a wonderland, isn't it? Seeing as Air Treks are more popular in Namihara than in any other time, the headmaster actually made this hall, devoted to ATs in its entirety. The school itself actually has a magazine on ATs simply called 'Soar Weekly', which focuses on the high AT activity in the school. Stats and such of all the teams in the school is found in this magazine, including news on up and coming riders, knowledge of the Kings, and a lot of things that would take WAAY to long to explain right now."

"Soar Weekly........a place like this, I would expect something pretty impressive. Where can you pick up issues?" She asked. The fact that a school was so interested in the world of Air Trek was relieving to her.

"You can pretty much find an assload of'em in each class, its pretty popular. Also, its not limited to the school, you'll find them in any department store in Namihara. Now, let me continue. At the end of this hall is what just happens to be the coolest feature of this school: The Part Arena. By the name, you can probably guess what it is, can't you?" Soji asked, excited to simply explain it to Aung. "Whenever two teams create a rivalry, or just are up to show off the fact that they're a powerful group, they can challenge another team. There's an actual arena for Parts Wars out behind the school, where all students who've got an at least B average can go and check out the Parts War. Almost all of the Wars here are Pure Battle, and I'm sure any Storm Rider knows what that is. Blade Dance is gonna battle in their one day......."

"You talked about a team that you had yesterday.......I'll take it that Blade Dance is the name?" Aung asked, caught in some of the excitement of not only soaring, but showing to the entire school just how high she could fly.

Soji nodded, grinning. "You'd better believe it is. Now, come on, we're moving upstairs."

The halls were insanely quiet as Soji and Aung were the only ones in it. They reached the top of the stairs, where in front of it was their own homeroom class.

"I'm pretty sure you remember what that place is, so I'll skip straight past it. Past our class is the rest of the Junior classes, and on the completely opposite side of the hall is where you'll find the Senior Classes." He said, walking and pointing at the places with Aung following. Another large set of doors was found in the middle of the upstairs hall. "This is the teachers' lounge, where a lot of the things handled in the school and Soar Weekly go down. It's actually typed up in all in the Trek Hall, but its published here."

"Can you.......show me the arena?" Aung asked, her heart burning with a desire to see where it was she planned on losing her earthly connections.........where she planned to soar higher than any who came before him. Where she wanted to fly.

"Sorry, but we're not even allowed in their without issuing a challenge. Sure, a lot of people find ways to get in their anyway, but they always end up getting caught. Dont worry, though. With the desire for flying you have, I'm sure you'll make it there some way or another." Soji said, walking to the end of the hall.

The day wore on as Soji went through almost every nook and cranny of the school. It was a pretty big school, so something like that would take a while. Before either of them knew it, though, the tour was over. Soji had nothing left to show the new studen as the bell rang. School was out, so Soji led Aung out to the final stop on their tour: the schoolyard.

"Now, this is our final stop. The schoolyard, nothing special, just where a lot of students tend to handle their business after school, just like you need to, right?"

"So, we're finished? It went by fast, the school day." She said, the wind gusting toward them. A smile grew on her face, as she stared up at the sky, looking for he whom she was to meet in this very yard.

"Well, that's it! Looks like we're done here!" Soji said, looking around for Kaname, just in case she was to come extremely early. "So, what'd ya think of the tour, Aung? I've never done anything like this before, but I say I did pretty damn good."

OOC: Alright everyone, this school day is over. All business you have after school can be handled here, and remember, its a Friday in the RPG, so the weekend begins. :D Time to fly!

Note: For this post, Kiba gave me control over her character, for those whom haven't guessed it.

Echine sighed peacefully as he walked down the stairs, as always the other students passed him. As always his muffler was tugged close to his mouth and as always its tails dangled behind him. So many as always in life. He wondered slightly, looking out a nearby window he was passing -as always- how many more "as always" did he have left? A few thousand? A few hundred? Five? it was a strange way to think about things, but one he occasionally found himself drifting toward. Numbering things. Quantifying. Perhaps that was just a way for him to distance himself from his own life, something he'd been doing for a long time. His entire life had been dedicated towards distancing himself from it. He lived alone to distance himself from his kindred- his blood. He coached sports to distance himself from popularity, after all it was the players who got the glory not the guy who told them to get it. He looked to the sky to distance himself from this world that held him... but... at the same time... he longed to hold this slavery a little longer.

He thought about it as he watched the young people, people his age and slightly older walking with speed and purpose and drive. They all sought freedom... they sought it because they did not see it as an inevitablity, they didn't have freedom sitting in their medicine cabinet every morning and every night. They didn't have monthly visits to "Freedom Headquarters" where "Freedom Specialist" told them how soon they could expect to be free. No. Until they knew how close freedom actually was they would go on seeking it. But... maybe... he give himself a little freedom. Enough to leave a mark and then whisper away. Like leaves wisping down the sidewalk in the fall.

Echine walked to the courtyard and noticed two people were standing there but he didn't bother them immediately - though he was sure that he had seen that girl earlier to day but couldn't recall. He didn't want to bother them if they weren't here to see him so he sat down on his bench and pulled out his laptop to type somethings and waited to see if they were meeting someone else or something else.

OOC: Sorry if some parts of this post were rather confusing... theres a small detail that makes it all make sense

Aung looked around the courtyard looking past people, trying to see what wasn't there. Finally her eyes rested on a young man, with a...muffler around his neck. Aung reckonized him as the person she had bumped into that morning. As she walked over to him she reconized him from somewhere else. He was that extremly inteligent kid many of the highly ranked highschoolers were talking about on the forums. He was also...she couldn't place him, but he was also something else. Aung reached him and smiled.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" she said motioning towards the seat on the bench next to him. "You are Echine Gnoto, are you not?" Aung looked at him curiously. "I heard you were suppose to be climbing up the ranks fast. I think you are already at 5 in the country." Aung looked up thinking placing her finger on her chin.

As Soji was completely and utterly ignored by Aung, he watched as she walked away. He turned around, held his hand to his heart, and muttered the word, ".....Ouch." He walked under a cherry tree on the opposite side of the courtyard that Aung and Echine were sitting and looked out for Kaname, whom he was to meet here.

---

Aya had just gotten out of class, a little late due to the fact she had to talk to her teacher about her class conduct. That was not important, though, and she instantly put it behind her, beginning to look out for Echine, who told her to meet him out in the courtyard yesterday. She saw Soji, who was leaning against a cherry tree for reasons unknown to her. Whether it was to simply bug her, or because he wanted to make sure that Echine wasn't the wild type of guy, she didn't care, cause she found said genius sitting beside Aung on a bench.

With nothing to lose and a team to gain, she approached them. When she reached them, she looked down to the sitting Echine and crossed her arms, smiling. "I made pretty good time, don't you think?"

Kaname made her way down to the courtyard after quickly changing into her casual attire. She looked around, searching for Soji, finding him standing under a cherry tree. She walked over to him with a smile on her face. "Not very fashionable and not very late either am I?" She said, checking her wrist watch.

Soji got up from the tree and shook his head. "Now, I wouldn't say that about your fashion. I'd actually say you look pretty hot, if I learned how to say it without sounding like some dirty pervert, in our situation." Soji said, chuckling. "And about the time.......well, in one minute, I would've been out here for 2 minutes, so you made pretty good time." He joked, smiling toward Kaname. Soji felt relieved to actually be able to talk to Kaname without being A. Ignored, B. Not payed attention to, or C. All of the above, as in comparison to another he had been around that day.

"Now, we both know why your here. If you want to join Blade Dance, I'm not gonna put you through some big tests of skill, determination, wits, and all of that, counting on the fact that I currently lack two of those traits. Instead, I want to put you through something pretty simple. Before we start, I'd like to see your ATs." He said, putting his hands behind his head. "Just to see how well equipped you are, that's all."

Haji walked out of class peacefully. He word no expression on his face but many could tell that he was in deep thought. As he past a window he looked out of it and noticed kids riding their AT's. What was it that made kids ride? Was it the thrill of performing tricks, or the popularity that came from being one of the best? Their were so many different ways at being a storm rider. Did he know his reason? Haji continued down the stair and bumped into a teacher. She fell and Haji began to help her up. She yelled and pushed back thinking he was trying to hurt her. Haji let her go and stepped back."Help someone Help me. This boy is trying to take my purse?" Haji just looked at her and turned and slowly walked away. A few male teachers grabbed him and toke him the a empty room.

"So another storm rider wants to in and steal." Haji watched as these fools questioned him telling him that they wanted to know what was wrong with him. Haji didn't say a word but he did laugh. Just then Kyoko walked in the room with the teacher that he tried to help. She told them about what happened. She had been robbed a few days ago by some thugs that were storm riders. Haji understood what she was saying. This was what he hated. Storm riders that in and use AT's for something other then riding. Why steal from people that have very little? Haji growled and stood as he was freed. Kyoko walked beside him as they left the school. Haji thanked her and then disappeared down the street. Kyoko sighed and walked back toward the school.

Kaname chuckled at Soji's comment. Resisting the small urge to blush effortlessly, having recieved that kind of comment often from an actual pervert, which Soji was not. He was easy to talk to unlike the boys who frequently visit the ice cream parlor.

"Alright," she said, unzipping her backpack and pulling out her black, white, and pink ATs. "I haven't changed the wheels yet, but I bought new set yesterday. I'm probably going to change them after one last ride on these." She held up her ATs for Soji to see.

"One last, ride, eh?" Soji said, studying the ATs. He himself had his ATs strapped to his back and decided that it was time to really put these things to the test. "Well then, how about I give you that 'one last ride' right now? I've decided that the way I can test you is just a practice race, me and you. I've already set up the course and everything, which is suprising seeing as how I've got the worst organizing skills of all time." Soji said, looking toward the exit of the school.

"Check it out, I travel this way almost everyday just to make sure I dont rusty." Soji said, pointing down the road. See, after exiting the school, you take a left. Down the road leads to a little bit of traffic, the cars can really jet down that road. It goes on for only about a quarter mile, then there's a clear right turn. You take that turn and it leads into a dead end, that's where you show some skill. If you want to get past that dead end, you have to make come alive by wallriding straight up it! It's about 30 or so feet up, so your gonna need a bit of speed to get past it."

"Once you reach the roof of whatever building that wall belongs to, you'll see that across it is group of station poles, riding down to a lower set of buildings. Grind that, and dont worry because dont many cars pass by that road. Anyway, you simply turn to the right and continue to leap from building to building, since there's only a couple of small gaps in between, then jump down from the last building. Once you reach that part, you'll find the school right in front of you, again. First one to reach this cherry tree wins."

"Understood?" Soji asked, not very confident about his explanation.

When the bell rang on Friday Sayuri was stuck in class C2...again. Her grades were pitiful and the sensei seemed to have had enough of her.

"Sayuri, you have to pay more attention to your grades and less to your team." The sensei huffed "I've never had to tell a student that before but...you're a smart girl..."

Sayuri tuned the teacher out for a minute still looking as if she were listening. The teacher finally let her go after a few seconds. Sayuri was used to this after-school talk it happened nearly everyday. But Sayuri had a one-track mind and AT's were more important than her grades at the moment.

Sayuri popped by her locker and grabbed her ATs. Again Shiva and Sai were no where to be found. She walked out into the schoolyard and looked around for the Shiva's beach blonde hair or maybe a crowd. Either way Sayuri knew Sai would be near. She was right the first day though Shiva had been mad but she'd gotten over it...eventually.

Sayuri sighed and pulled her AT's on. Her dad was gonna want to here from her before she went searching for Shiva. Sayuri got to her feet and started off she stopped for a minute redid her pony-tail and started off a bit slower pace occasionally she'd stop someone to ask she usually got a glare and a huffy sounding negative.

Half-heartedly Sayuri thought about asking Soji and Kaname then nixed the idea as she realized he was holding try-outs. Sayuri skated in circles occassionally checking her cell. ANything to put off facing her dad with another horrible grade.

Kaname listened intently to his instructions, ran them over in her head for a minute then nodded. "I'm pretty sure I've got it." Those were areas that Kaname rode at night when only AT riders were out and about and when cars were scarce. She knew those parts pretty well and the now that it was bright she could see a lot better. "So.. if i lose... I'm not accepted, am I right?" she asked. she wasn't too fast and she had just learned to wallride. The highest wall she had ridden so far was a 20 feet wall. What's ten more feet? She thought to herself though she wasn't so confident about it.

Haji opened the door to his empty house and walked straight to his room. He changed into his green and white Mourning Breeze Uniform. He looked out of his window and razed his AT's up. He shot out of his window and heard his widow close behind him. He landed on the ground and rode toward the popular AT battleground.

Kyoko was still in her school uniform. She had on her AT's and was standing on top of the school looking down at Soji and the girl that was trying out. She was going to meet Soji at the AT shop at eight. That was the same time he had to meet with Haji and the girl from the other day. She smiled and began to roll toward the back of the school. Several thugs from the storm rider team called Shadow Lance stood behind her. She laughed and looked at them.

"Your a ways from your own side of town. What brings you over to this side of town Maki?"

Kyoko grinned and looked at her Ex. Haji had beat him in a simple race two and a half weeks ago. He was mad that she was with Haji and did everything he could to stop him from flying."I'm here to see how your doing and to see what the team over here are like. You know that my team is now a C rank team." Kyoko laughed out love and looked his team over. "Well mister C rank let's see if you have gotten any better. Or i can get Haji to kick your *** again you second rate deva." Kyoko razed her AT's and grinned before firing her body over the edge of the building and grinding down the school wall. She turned and continued to grind backward as Maki and his team jumped over the school and followed her. She looked down and looked Soji directly in the eyes. Then jumped from the school into the air and landed on a light pole.

"Get back here you freakin trick!!!"

Kyoko smiled and blew Soji a kiss before jumping down and speeding away. Maki and his team right behind her. Maybe she did push it a little to hard.

Soji shook his head, his eyes closed. "That's not exactly right. Even if I win, if I see that you not only showed determination to win this race, but you also showed enough skill that a win was possible, you could definently get in. Since you said you want to soar so badly, though, I'm pretty sure that you'll show me enough determination."

Suddenly, Kyoko shot by Soji, blowing him a kiss while she was in hot pursuit by a group of Storm Riders. Seeing that, Soji nearly began to run toward them, out of natural reaction, but his mind knocked sense into him, reminding him that he had Blade Dance business going on. He turned back to Kaname, a slightly confused look on his face. "Looks like she can handle herself.......I think. Maybe we should......nevermind."

Soji slipped off his shoes and put on his ATs, simply leaving his shoes at the foot of the cherry tree, as they would be coming back to that spot after the race. He tapped his ATs on the ground, then walked onto the pavement, becknoning for Kaname to follow. "So, you ready?"

OOC; Sorry for being out so long.. gonna try to catch up here >_>;;

BIC; Sai wandered the halls towards the end of the day, having skipped his last class. He wasn't surprised that the teachers didn't bother him for a hall pass or an explanation of his cause for randomly wandering the halls. He was never the type to cause problems when problems weren't eminent, so he was rarely picked out by authority. They all just assumed he was doing what he was supposed to.

His thoughts ventured to the team's practice the afternoon before. He was sure Shiva was dead set on working them to death, though he had made no motion to deny her her fun. He rounded the corner, digging his hands into his pockets. Sayuri handled the practice well. She really was an angel when using ATs, she moved so gracefully.. That particular thought brought a smile to his face. Something about Sayuri.. whenever he looked at her, he felt.. well. He wondered absently if he should mention his feelings to Shiva, she seemed to have experience in that department.. then again. He shook his head and chuckled to himself as he entered his next class. Yeah, it was better left alone then confided to Shiva, he almost kicked himself for the thought.

He stood by Shiva's locker. He wasn't surprised that he had arrived before she had. Sai was always early for everything.

Shiva waved off two players on the boy's soccer team and then turned to head to her locker. The faster she got into her ATs the better. Practice practice practice. She'd dominate this sport or die trying. She almost had to laugh to herself at how overly dramatic she sounded, but really, life was no fun without a bit of drama. Speaking of which.. her mind toyed with ideas of intimidation tactics that could be played on the opposing team. If only she knew each team and their members..

"That's the next goal" she muttered to herself as she neared her locker.

"Oh! Sai, hey there. Why didn't you bring Sayuri with you?" she questioned, noticing him blush slighty she shook her head and shooed him out of the way, opening her locker and pulling out her ATs. "Let's change, I'll call Sayuri."

Sai nodded and headed off to the boy's bathroom.

Shiva walked into the girl's bathroom, flipping her cell open. She found Sayuri's name in her recent calls list and hit talk on her cell, then listened as the phone rang.

Kaname nodded in understanding then felt a strong wind come from behind her. She turned to see what was going on, only to see Kyoko being chased by a hoard of people. Kaname saw the kiss the girl had blown Soji and was reminded that Soji was extremely popular. Talking with him so casually, the fact had slipped her mind. Though his popularity did not matter to her, it did bother her she would probably recieve dirty looks from some fangirls just for being near him. Kaname shook the thought from her mind and realized that she had completely missed with Soji said before he asked her if she was ready.

"Oh... yeah," she said slipping her ATs on and placing her shoes into her backpack. She followed him to the sidewalk and closed her eyes for a moment to collect herself. She had to concentrate she was going to strive for victory and if she didn't get it in the end, it was still fun. She inhaled then exhaled, opened her eyes, and she looked at Soji with a smile. "I'm ready."

Echine looked up from his laptop as the girl walked up... maybe she was here about the team. He nodded nicely enough when she asked if she could sit, not bounding with unncessary enthusiasm but courteous enough. It wasn't in his nature to be terribly rude but he wasn't about to go about faking anything. Still, she seemed nice enough and he didn't want to be mean. She seemed to know him, which meant he was at a disadvantage since he did not, in turn, know her. It was also apparent that she knew things about him that he did, he had not been aware that he was fifth in anything but it didn't come as a suprise him... he supposed he studied a bit more than average but he just did what he felt like doing... itdidn't really bothering him either way.

"Oh, am I? I was unaware of that...but I'm just another fifteen year old boy... so don't treat me special or anything" he didn't let himself emphasize any part of that sentence but he wanted to. But if he did there would be questions... and questions led to answers. "Now... this may seem rude but... who are you?"

Suddenly, he heard another voice and looked up to see Aya, "Oh... good day. Aya. Good to see your willing to put forth the effort to be on time, thats a good sign... I can work with that." "So the rumors were true you are really young for your age." Aung upon enstinct wipped out her cellphone and took a quick picture of Echine. "Well I guess I shouldn't really bother you, but I thought I would sit here and wait for someone. I'm joining an air treck team called Gnosi of Sophia, and well I want to anyways. "I liked it because of the lack of violence and because the picture seems more about diplomicy then destroying someone." she finished her sentence and held her hand to her mouth. Echine was getting a little creeped out, he had never been the most...forward person... but when she took the picture he was worried that something had happened of which he was unaware... "Um... am I...missing something here? I'm... just a student..." he didn't like this... he felt... "special"... but he wasn't! It was discomforting for him, not that this was why he had expected to be treated differently but either way it was bad and annoying. But... maybe it would pass. He remained calm and composed. Soon enough, the conversation did indeed change subject for which he was grateful but didn't let it show. He smiled vaguely, "Oh? Well... this is good... I was just bemoaning the fact I was a person short of having enough." his tone ached of subtle bemusement, " But it appears as though that shan't need to worry about that." Suddenly he realized something... "ah yes... this is Aya... she approached me about the team yesterday and Aya, this is Aung." There was a strange awkward edge to the air so he decided to try and get things moving.

He finished typing and logged off his computer closing it firmly... "Are we ready?"

Kaname immeadiatly sped down the road as quick as she could but she seemed to be lagging behind Soji a bit. She applied more pressure to the heel of her ATs but she couldn't seem to even get beside Soji.

Amazing. Kaname thought and a grin crept upon her face once again. While running the directions though her head again, she was enjoying the ride at the same time. The wind played roughly at her silky brown hair and all the sounds of traffic, pedestrains, and other such noises all seemed to meld together as white noise. The scenery became a blur and all Kaname could see with a path. Though it wasn't visible, it was as though she was being led by some sixth sense. This was her first step towards true freedom.

The race was going smoothly until she came upon the wall. Oh great, Kaname thought. She didn't even see Soji go up the wall, she was focused on going trying to go fast enough to ride up the surface. Here goes nothing... She thought and begn to glide up the wall. She made it a quarter of the way before she felt herself losing speed. She grunted and kicked off the wall, flipped, and landed. She didn't hesitate to make another attempt. She applied as much pressure as she could muster and glided up the surface, leaning forward for less air resistance and soon she was in the air. Kaname's heart lept in her chest. It was as if she were... flying.

OOC: Alright, I'm just playing out what Soji was experiencing during your post, and a little past it.

From the start, Soji had a lead on her. As they entered traffic, instead of attempting to dodge the continuous onslaught of cars, Soji began to leap from car to car, before reaching a rail in the middle of the road. Tiny sparks of flame ignite due to the friction and speed of his ATs on the metal. He saw to the right that they alley was close, so he pulled a trick.

He backflipped off of the rail, spinning while he flipped. He straightened himself out before hitting the ground before shooting up to the wall. Not stopping for anything, Soji literally jumped onto the wall, then applied full pressure to his ATs. For a split second in time, his body actually stood there, motionless and vertically on the wall. Suddenly, the sound of his ATs revving up, coupled with sparks flying, he shot up the wall, then flipped on to the top. It was then that Soji decided to turn back to see where Kaname was.

She had failed in reaching the top of the wall the first time around, so she came up for it again, taking Soji by sprise on how she suddenly came from the top, soaring in the air. "Heh, you dont really need my help to fly, do you!?" Soji thought, before shooting forward. He leaped onto the railings between the buildings, smoothly making his way down it. His mind was now deadset on shooting down this rail, his ATs letting off a whirring sound from increased friction.

"Am I ready?" Aya asked herself as Echine asked her the same question. "I belive I am." She said aloud, a grin making its way onto her face. Although she was undoubtedly worried about what challenge he had in store for her and Aung, her worry could not be recognized as fright. It was much more of a state of excitement, than one of fear.

She stood up, ATs on and reaving on the ground. "Yes, lets go." Aung said eyes closed, "Lets grow our wings and fly into the carefree winds." She opened her eyes with fierce intensity, swirling with the hope of freedom. Aung darted this way and that waiting for the others. Her movements seem to dare the earth to keep ahold of her. Aung let Echine take the lead, he was the leader after all. She only wondered if she could truly follow him to the ends of the earth and up into the sky. I guess I will find out soon enough, Aung thought embracing the air and speeding off after Aya and Echine.

Kaname landed with a giggle. Riding always made her giddy and right now, though she was competing with someone, she was all bubbly. She'd never flown this high before. The moment passed by too quickly, for she landed and she really didn't have have time to bask in the glory of it before she shot off toward the railing. Soji was already on the railings and she was determined to catch up. She leaped onto the railing and grinded it as if she were on a skateboard and could practically hear the sparks flying from the friction between her wheels and the metal.

The end of the railing was coming up and Kaname leaped off, flipping one in the air and landing gracefully on the next building. She rode along the buildings, finally catching up with Soji and soon she was right behind him. From the rooftops she could see the school coming into view.

The last building came up and she leaped, her and Soji were seemingly head to head now. She spread her arms and embraced the wind, a grin spreading wide across her face. "Woo hoo!!!" She yelled as she descended the building. She looked at Soji a gave him a friendly smile. When she hit the ground she immeadiatly revved up her ATs and shot off. For a second it seemed as if she was going to win, the cherry tree was just barely out of her grasp but Soji had gotten to it before her. It seemed the she miscalculated the distance. She reached the tree, panting. She lost. She didn't mind. She looked up at Soji and pushed back her hair that become wild during the ride from her face. "Congrats," she said, laughing from her giddiness and panting from exhaustion at the same time.

Kyoko had made a circle around the block and was right back at the school. Thats where she would make her attack. She smiled and rode up tin side of the school. Her follower right behind her. Her eyes toke a turn for the evil when she reached the top. She jumped from the wall and fell down in a dead lock drop toward Maki and his men. This move hadn't been seen in a long time. Kyoko began to spin her body as she reached the first of the seven man squad.

"Get that trick now beat her till she understands that were the best."

Kyoko stopped spinning and grabbed the first ones neck. She pulled him from the wall and throw him to the ground. Her strenght was amazing. She strong to be a girl. Next one the list of defeat was a talk brown hair boy. Kyoko placed both feet on the wall and them pushed off. She rammed him with her shoulder sending him flying downward along with his friend. She ground onto the window seal of a classroom and swung her body back up toward the roof.

"So this is what a C rank team is like."

Kyoko landed on the roof and stood their waiting. Them she counted down. From five to four then to three, two and finally one. Maki flew over the rail of the roof and yelled for his boy's to attack. They came in at one time and all tried to hit her at one time. Before they could even pull back their fist their was a leg coming across their faces. Kyoko sent two of them sliding back and one more over the ledge where he fell on top of his friends. Kyoko turned around and was about to run when a strong back hand sent her face on way and her body another. She hit the ground of the roof and held her cheek. Man did that hurt. It dele like a truck just hit her. She rubbed it and looked at the one who hit her. He slowly made his way toward her. He was big. Very big. Kyoko was in trouble now. Why could Haji be here at this time?

Echine sighed. Freedom. He could comment about how, by one definition of free, the statement missed the reality of the situation, the fact that she had always been free and never truly constrained. But more importantly, and most bizarrely, it seemed to imply that flight was in someway a freeing experience which it most certainly was not. It was no different from walking on land, the difference was in elevation, speed, and technique but both were merely mediums from moving from one place to another, possessing no special significance in and of themselves. He sighed with a patronizing smirk before he slipped into his own ATs, "I had been planning to do ground training today but I can't possibly say no to such enthusiasm."

He sighed gently when he was ready. Alright, he thought to himself. It wouldn't happen this time. He would be fine. And even if it did it wasn't truly causing him any harm, maybe if it happened to someone else but he had already been cut free and there was little for him to loose. Gently, he closed his eyes as blurred memories skittered on way and then the other through his mind. He opened his eyes and looked at the other two... "Alright, lets start with a little warm up. And the only good way to warm up is a nice 4,3,2,1 drill. Go from her to the top of the school building, come back, thats one lap do that four times. Stop, wait when I say go again you do three laps. Stop here again wait for my signal then two laps. Then finally one lap. After that, we'll do a few circle drills and couple more moving drills while I take a look to see what sort of skills you all have." Echine waited make sure that this seemed agreeable to everyone before he decided to start.

Soji looked down at his ATs, smiling. "Heh, I guess they'd go faster once I break them in, then I'll really be flying. For right now, though, still pretty awesome." He said as Kaname reached the cherry tree. Soji felt as if he wanted to do more laps, seeing as his energy was still on a high level. Usually, he would have, but he was preoccupied.

Kaname had congratulated Soji on his win, and all he could do was grin. "Congrats to me? Ha! I think we both should be congratulating you, Kaname." Soji said, leaning against the tree. Though Soji had not broken these ATs in, and he probably would have gotten better speed if he had, either way, Kaname put up a good race. One worthy of his team, he figured.."Welcome to Blade Dance."

Soji then put out his hand, a serious look on his face. As if that serious look of his was just a joke, it then turned into a chuckling smile, "Now, I'm sure you ready for us. And ready to fly, aren't you?"

---

4, 3, 2 , 1 drill. Aya had never heard of it, but from what Echine said about it, she was already not to fond of it. This may have been because she had just seen Soji and Kaname have their race, and the part that kind of bugged Aya was that Echine would not be participating in this practice. But she said she was ready for the challenges, and she did not plan on going back on what she said.

Aya slipped on her ATs, then scanned exactly what they would be doing. Wallriding up the entire would be something she could probably handle, as she did it often to avoid being late for classes. But beside her reaction, she watched Aung to see exactly what she thought of this.

Kaname finally gained control of her breathing and she looked at Soji he waited until he was done talking then took his hand, glad that his serious expression had merely been a joke. It made her a little uneasy. As far as she could tell, Soji being serious was something that she didn't like as much as when he was joking around.

Just then, it hit her- she'd just made his team. This was her first real group participation and it was with someone she felt comfortable around at that. Overcome with joy she jumped up and threw her arms around Soji's neck. "Thanks!" Almost immeadiatly, she realized what she was doing and pulled away abruptly, feeling akward. Oops. She thought and gave him an apologetic face. She might have felt comfortable around him but that was down right idiotic and uncalled for and she wasn't that comfortable with the guy. "Eheh... sorry Soji... I was just a little over-excited..." She said clearing her throat and turning around to conceal her blush from him. "Wow, am I hyper!" she said, trying to play it off and hoping he wouldn't get the wrong impression.

Kyoko watched the large man and cursed under her breath. His body was large and he stood about six foot three and was well built. He was amazingly runni and Kyoko couldn't beat him with brute strenght. She had to think this out. She knew she was faster then him to she would just out ran him and attack him.

Kyoko jumped to her feet and ran for it. The large man behind her. She then turned around and sent her body into a spinoff. Once the man was close enough Kyoko stopped spinning and place three kicks on him. Two to the face and one to a spot that all men wanted to protect. She watched him fall to the floor and cry. She looked at Maki and grinned.

"What are you going to do now Maki?"

Maki and his men slowly back away and left. Kyoko sighed and fell to the ground. Her face hurt and was bruised. He exhaled and sat their thinking about the trouble she caused at times. Maybe Haji would be better off without him.

Upon hearing they were doing wall riding Aung's head drupped a little. She wasn't very good at wall riding, in fact it was one of her worst tricks. Back home there were boardwalks, rails, water, and sand. Homes were spread far apart and or so close they didn't have anything inbetween. Sometimes she might venture to the factory district farther inland, but it was heavy with crime so she could only go there at certain times. Aung mulled over it for a minute and then said, "Yeah that sounds good. Just to warn you though wallriding isn't my strongsuit. Not many walls to ride up." Aung backed up farther away from the original starting point. She needed to get the most speed possible.

"Alright then... Go!" he said and sped off.

He worked them hard through the entire practice. He made sure they did some of the most agonizing but beneficial drills he could think of. His reasoning was that he had to test their resolve up front, he would give them the worst of his practices up front to see if they were truly willing to work themselves into the ground for their sport. If they couldn't take the pressure... well... then they were useless to him, it was not his way to settle for anything less then the best. But he did not make them do the drills alone. Every drill they did, he did, every stride they took he matched. It would be unfair to ask work of someone that you did not want to do yourself and leading by example had always been the best way.

By the end of the practice his head was spinning, his body was too frail for this but he didn't let that stop him. He contained his nausea and put on a straight and even face, if it were not for the sweat that covered him from head to toe one would scarcely believe that he had worked at all.

When the sun had set he ended practice, "Thats enough for the first day." he looked at the two girls, "you both did very well and I hope to see you again" he began to take off his ATs for the walk home, "There isn't a practice tomorrow, I have to be somewhere after school but I hope you both will still try and do a little practice on your own." He slipped on his normal shoes and said one last thing before he turned to leave, "Don't forget to do your homework and you are free to leave." With that he began to walk away.

Sayuri picked up her phone after three rings. "Sayuri" She said by way of greeting then she reversed her direction and vaguely noticed Soji and Kaname take off.

She listened to Shiva noticing as usual that she wasn't happy. But Sayuri didn't exactly like to wait for Shiva at her locker, like Sai, it made her feel like...less. But Shiva would be Shiva and she liked having her teamates wait for her. "Soji just held some try-outs" Sayuri mentioned at one point after telling Shiva she was outside and a little after she'd mentioned a failing grade. She added a little more just to hear herself talk for a minute then reached up and adjusted her pony-tail as she said good-bye.

Sayuri then went to her Contacts on her cell phone and called home. SHe got the answering machine. Vaguely annoyed Sayuri said "Hey, Dad, when you get home I need to talk to you. Soji, on the inside, smiled at what had just happened. He shook his head, trying to calm her down from whatever embarrassed our hyper state she was in. "Ha, no need for apology." Soji declared, grinning.

He took a step forward and leaned forward, trying to see her hidden face. She was giving off quite the blush, but he decided not to say anything about it. "Anyway, you've made it, but we've still got a couple 'a things we need to take care of. First of all, your team uniform, I'll have to get one made for you seeing as I never really expected to get a girl member." Soji explained. Hey then shook his head, not wanting to give off the wrong impression.

"But its not because I'm sexist or anything, its just most of the girls I meet don't give a damn about my team, they just want to get close to me. Which reminds me, thanks!" He said, nodding with a wink. "Also, I'll have to introduce you to our team emblem, which I'll show you whenever I get the chance. All of the other details can be handled later, because I dont want t' put a downer on your excitement of making the team."

Soji didn't have much else to say, but would give Kaname a chance to reply to all of this before he headed off.

Aya's training ended and she was only about a mile or so from death. She was worn out, the intense training having gotten to her. Echine walked off as she stood there, panting. She turned to Aung, who had gone through the exact intense training she had, so she wasn't going to ignore her existence. Besides, if they were to make the team, they would have to become some kind of friend.

"Hey there, Aung, right?" She asked. "Looks like this training was a hell of 'a lot tougher than I expected, he wasn't joking about it being brutal. " She said, ending with a chuckle. All she hoped was that Aung wouldn't give her the brush.

The heat from Kaname's face had finally resided and she looked Soji in the face once again, nodding at the right times as he spoke. "It's cool. I didn't think you were being sexist. It's understandable since now a days girls are such predators, maybe even more than men," she said jokingly. She looked down at her ATs and lifted her foot up to look at her wheels the probably won't last even half the way home. She's had these wheels for a while after all. At least their final ride was a good one. She thought and looked back to Soji, placing her foot back on the ground. "Alright then, thanks a lot Soji. Do you want to meet somewhere tomorrow or wait until-" She was interrupted when her cellphone went off. It was her alarm, which meant she had half an hour before work. "I'd better get going. Shiva and Sai, both out of their school uniforms and wearing more casual attire, met Sayuri outside of the school.

Shiva had a cocky smirk plastered across her face "I've been thinking.. it's about time that we announced ourselves, don't you think? I want the other teams to know who we are, to feel intimidated by our presence!" she shook her fist in the air energetically. "Agreed?" She waited about a half second, barely enough time for a nod from either one of them, before continuing. "Good! Let's get going then!"

Shiva spun around the two of them full circle before leaping over the school steps, twisting her body in the air and landing graciously below. "C'mon guys, we have some showing off to do!"

Sai could barely fit in a nod before Shiva continued with her 'orders'. He looked over at Sayuri, wondering what she felt about all of this. She was, after all, co-captain. Looking at her he felt a slight blush tinge his cheeks, so he quickly looked away only to see Shiva flying high in the air, pulling off a difficult stunt accurately. He shook his head again, then lazily he hopped on a nearby rail and grinded down to where Shiva was waiting for them.

Soji smiled, giving Kaname. "Yeah, we can meet up later. How about at that Ice Cream shop on 31st, 'round 3:00 tomorrow?" Soji asked. Once again, he listened to Kaname thank him on letting her in, although, she shouldn't be the one thanking him. "By the way, there's no need to continuously thank me. Besides, I should be thanking you for being good enough join, right?" He joked.

"And if we're going to meet up, then I should probably need your cell number,, right?" He asked, arching an eyebrow. The fact that Kaname was a working girl only made Soji think he could rely on her even more. Kaname almost denied that he wanted to meet at the icecream shop then thought that it wouldn't be a bad idea seeing that she could give him a good discount if her wanted one. "That's actually where I work, sadly enough," she said chuckling, "But if you want to meet there, then I'm fine with it. I'll even give you a discount if you want to buy some ice cream. Sorry if my constant thank you's are annoying you. I'm just really happy."

When Soji asked for her number, she almost forgot what it was since he was the first person she'd given it to other than Aoi ever since she moved to this city. "Oh, yeah sure," she said and told him her number. She didn't want to go to work. Sayuri nodded just because it was better to agree. Then she followed executing a perfect in air trick. Great drawing attention to ourselves...Sayuri thought. She'd rather be on a team that didn't announce themselves but did very well. She landed and spun pretending she was having fun when the exact opposite rolled through her brain. She liked the fact that her teammates were talented but she could do without the constant attention. Half the guys in school stared as she walked past not because she looked good like Shiva but because she was so focused on ATs. Just mention the word date and Sayuri in the same sentence and they'd all laugh and brush it off saying "AT girl?! Are we talking about the same Sayuri?!?"

Most of the time Sayuri didn't actually care what they thought she had her ATs and she had her dad and that was usually enough but sometimes Sayuri felt like asking Shiva's advice. That is if she wasn't afraid Shiva would laugh hysterically. Mechanically following Shiva's lead Sayuri still managed to do every trick with her natural gift of speed and grace. Sayuri would rather be anywhere else than here...drawing unwanted and speculating attention. She grinned but it was for a totally different reason than because she liked to show off. It was because no matter what trick she managed to pull off Shiva did her one better as if saying "You're co-captain not captain"

By the way, I'd appreciate it if I pay just as everybody else did. It really doesn't matter how sexy girls think I am," He joked, "And even if I'm respected or not, I figure I'm just like everybody else." That was one of the single most humble things Soji had ever said. Ever.

"Now, since we've pretty much covered everything wee need to right now, guess its time to head on out, huh?" Soji said, slowly skating backwards. "I'll call you tomorrow, we can meet up then!"

As he began to skate off, he remembered that before he headed home there was still one thing that he had to take care off. Kyoko had asked him to come to the local AT Shop, the same one that Aung worked on, later that day. He figured it was just about time to head off.

Unfortunatly for Aya Aung did brush her away. She was tired yes, but not nearly so much as her. Back home everyday Aung would swim two miles out and two miles back, she would run the legnth of the beach every afternoon. Aung skated away from Aya's question thoughtfully pondering something. Her ATs rolled slowly across the uneven sidewalk, bouncing Aung up and down.

"I wonder if I should go get some grociers. I think I'm running low," Aung said completely out of it. Her stomach growled loudy reminding her of the hard practice and she laughed at herself. I think I'm going to be happy here, Aung thought with a smile. She recanted the day seeing Soji's and Kaname's faces as well as sweet Aya and intelligent Echine. So many new friends. Is it alright to be letting out so early. Aung didn't have time to think on it for long because her new phone started vibrating frantically.

She opened it up with confusion and saw she had missed a message. Upon hearing it she almost ran into a pole, though she barely missed it. The boy from the day before had called to tell her that she was not to come in because their real boss was coming in and the guy wasn't really allowed to just accept. So now she was not to come in untill saturday night. The thing that had suprised Aung was not that work had been canceled, but that she had forgotten she had even been scheduled. Aung shook her head in disbelief and skated off to the market. It was time to satisfy her stomach.

Echine sighed walking home, his vision was starting to blur so he decided to stop off at the store and grab some water. He had been quite pleased with how the practice had gone so far, and even now he was forming strategies in his head on how he would react to different team builds that they might go up against. Like so many sports, ATs were won first in the mind and then in the flesh. After a few minutes he arrived at his grocer and old lady who normally ran the shop at this time of day bow a couple times and greeted him as he came in. He grinned a little and accepted her gesture with a shaky palm before he turned to the coolers in the back for water. He opened it and drank before crouching down to try a let all the blood work its way back up to his head.

The lady began talking about how her daughter was entering high school not to far down the road, and how he should meet her sometime (though technically he had seen her once or twice he had never traded more than distant, and formal greetings before they both walked off to more pressing concerns. He let the old lady talk, and responded ambiguously when it was required of him. Of course he wouldn't. Meeting this girl, irregardless of who she was, was a bad idea. Besides, he already had tomorrow looming over his head and he didn't need this looming over him too.

He looked out the store front window as he waited for the old woman to finish talking.

With a flash of twists and turns Kyoko landed behind Soji. Her smile this time was true. No signs of the fake smile she gave the other two girls.

"Well Soji it nice to see you. I'm glad you came. To get to the point i would like to know if you are would like to battle of in a race."

Kyoko only smiled at him and placed her hands on her hips. The curves of her body were tight and were built to perform hard tricks. She wanted to test his skills before challenging him to a Parts War.

Suprise, suprise.

Challenged to a race? He pretty much expected something of this degree to occur once he came here. He looked at Kyoko from top to bottom, then sighed. "Well, I may just consider it, but first, I usually only race when I have a reason to. Exactly why do you want to race me all of a sudden?" He asked, arching an eyebrow.

His brain was left in the dust by his mouth, which was speaked completely on its own. Soji didn't know for sure what he said or why he said it, but his best lead was just that he wanted to fly. A quick race would probably prove to quench his thirst for air. The fact that he had just gotten new ATs and he was itching to put them to another test didn't hurt either.

"So?"

Kaname was off of work by nine. The sky was black and clear of stars and clouds as usual, due to the city lights. She walked along the streets that weren't as empty as they would be in Osaka. This was the time that riders came out to have their fun. Kaname knew she should be careful but she was way too tired to use her ATs.

It was a long day, as expected, and she was worn out. Her ATs weren't on the best condition to run on either. Therefore, instead of changing the atrocious red heels with her ATs as she would regularly do, Kaname had slipped her shoes on. Kaname, though tired, was on gaurd. She knew some of the guys who rode on this street and they weren't the friendly type that only messed with her at work. Kaname knew whose territory she was on and she did well to be inconspicuous.

The corner was coming up, marking the end of the territory. Kaname heard muffled sound of AT motors coming closer. She chose that moment to run as fast as se could. She almost made it to the corner when she was suddenly pushed into the stone wall that seperated the neighborhood from the street she was currently on. Due to her lack of a jacket over her cami, she scraped her arm on the rouch texture of the stones. She winced and looked a her attacker.

"You have a knack of treading on our territory don't you Kaname?" A boy with green a green mohawk said with a little smirk.

"I'm just going home. Leave me alone Pacca," Kaname said with gripping her arm where it was injured, feeling a warm liquid oozing between her fingers.

"Yeah, that's what you want us to think. But what are you really doing?" He said, nearing his face to hers. Kaname frowned. The guys cologne smelled so strong it was almost like gasoline. "What do you think Onimaru?"

"I think she be scoutin'," said the large sumo-wrestler-looking guy accompanying Pacca. Kaname rolled her eyes.

"Look, just let me get home and I'll choose a different route to go home next time I get off late, 'kay?" Kaname said, hoping to compromise. She was in no state to outrun these guys, especially without ATs, though her house was just three houses down from the corner.

"Hmm," Pacca tapped his chin as if in thought, "Here's a thought, you give me a kiss. If I like it I'll let you go free of charge."

Kaname's eyes widened. No way was she kissing this guy, she had too much dignity. Instead, she slapped him across the face and sprinted toward the corner.

Pacca cursed violently. "Get her!"

Kaname thought she was done for, but out of nowhere, Aoi came to the rescue on her ATs and knocked both guys down in a flash. Kaname stopped at the corner and stared at her aunt, who quickly rode back to her. "I was wondering why you were so late. Come on," she said and ushered her niece home. Kaname vaguely heard the boys curse and ride off. She was never taking that route again.

When they got home, Kaname's wound was tended to and she was given a small lecture on team's territories. Kaname had heard this so many times already but what part of thecity was not owned by ruffians who knew nothing but violence and perversion? Kaname shoved the thought from her mind and slept, anticipating the next day to when she would meet with Soji. Perhaps, they could even visit Aung, if she was working.

Kyoko looked at Soji and grinned before shifting her weight to her left side and placed her hand on her hip. "Well I wanted to race you to see if your worthy of racing a true Storm Rider." Kyoko exhaled and felt the wind. Haji would arrive here after not finding her at the school. By then she hoped to have Soji eating out of her hands.

Haji was,at the same time, at the school standing and waiting on Kyoko and the other girl that he hoped would join his Team. He just hoped that he didn't get some up by two girls tonight.

"Woahoho! Let's grab a hold of time and push it back a little, shall we?" Soji exclaimed, wanting to clarify just one thing.

"Are you saying that I'm not a true Storm Rider? Cause if you are, then I think you might just want to get to know me a bit better before you go and say something like that." If there was one thing that Soji held close and respected was his life with ATs. He'd been through his own share of struggles, though, no matter how popular he was, not many people knew of them, nor did they expect them from somebody like him.

"So, you want to explain yourself? Again?" He said, cooling down some.

At that moment, Soji was hit by something. It seemed to be that although Kyoko herself was the one whom doubted his skills. Why should he take out his anger at her on somebody else?

Tick, tock, tick, tock, went Soji's brain as he thought for a reason. None.

Kyoko grinned and a light breeze swayed through her body. Around her curves and through her hair. She pressed her hair back and looked at Soji. Her eyes seemed to be gazing into the skies. Her smile was true and her true Storm rider side came out.

"Very well Soji. Listen up. From here were toward the great stone tower. Before getting their we have to take the backalley. One of the most dangerous alley's known. That's because their is a drop going 14 meters downward. Their are two rails that also in down this path. After you reach the bottox their is a point blank turn that you must take. By then the tower can be seen. You will have to wall ride up a 30 foot wall. Then jump from building to building before reaching the tower. Then we wall ride up the tower to the top where the first the reach the 100 foot top of the tower wins. Got it?

EMERGENCY OOC: Alright everyone, due to recent happenings, I've decided to make the RPG skip directly to the next day. It's a Saturday, so no school, and the teams are left to do whatever they may need to that could help with their development. Thank you for all of those who understand this.

Soji got up out of his bed, the luminescent Saturday sun shining in on his room. He scratched his head, a slight headache overcoming him.

Realizing that it was Saturday, and knowing that today would be filled with some kind of business having to do with his Storm Rider team, Blade Dance. The game plan was that he would get ready and dressed, then leave the house as soon as possible. After picking up the latest issue of 'Soar,' the Shinanome's Air Trek magazine, he would give Kaname, the newest member of his team, a call.

Soji thought of how hope wasn't lost for Blade Dance, and knew that Kaname would only be one of more members to soon join his team. He had a very good feeling about today, though, as if he was meant to develop his today. "HELL YEAH!" He yelled, leaping out of his bed. With that, he charged the day, head on.

"What could that be oh Haji dear?" She spoke with words that glided across the skies. Just like when he rode. They were free. Free to their own opinion about everything. Be it small or large. She didn't allow anyone to waver her opinion. She followed her mind. That was how she was. "Tell me why you can be so independent....in a world that demands for you to be like everyone else? How can you be your own person and say and do what you feel is right? If in this world people shut you out and act as if nothing has happened when you and that person know that you have a great point? Is it wrong on your part? Is it? To be able to beat them at their own game and then turn out to be the loser? To never get your point across? TELL ME HOW THE HELL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD CAN BE SO DAMN IGNORANT!!!!!!" Echine sighed as he walked into the hospital... he had given his people the day off because of this...this...waste of time. He'd much rather be teaching them techniques and stategies than knowing how long he could expect before he was set free...such a pointless thing. Knowing. It wouldn't change what he did. He already lived each day as if he would be free tomorrow.

The nurses and doctors that he knew all nodded to him and said high, he was a regular and they knew his face. He knew them but only gave the occasional nod in response, it wasn't like these people were the harbingers of good news for one such as him. His muffler drifted behind him, shifting only slightly in the stagnant air.

He didn't have to wait for his appointment long, it was a weekly deal and as regular as clockwork... in retrospect he shouldn't have given his team the day off, but he didn't know them well enough to start fretting over precise scheduling. Still, he knew he could be making progress but wasn't, he didn't like the feeling of loosing time, he had so little of it.

"Ah good day, Mr. Gnoto" said the doctor as he came in the room. Echine was sitting on the exam table, one leg up the other dangling, so the doctor sat in a swivel chair across from him. Echine didn't respond to the doctors greeting.

"Cheery as always I see." the doctor said good naturedly as he looked over some notes he had left on the clipboard, "Any dizzyness? Vomit? etc etc.." Echine had done this a thousand times before and the doctor felt no need to specifically read off each of the possible symptoms that could be a result of Echine's condition. Echine shook his head and the doctor gingerly check a bunch of boxes on his clip board, "I was looking at your most recent blood samples the other day and it seems like your liver is in retraction again as well as the marrow so I'm upping your dosage to 6 250 mg tablets a day, 3 morning 3 night..."

Echine nodded and then the doctor looked up, "I was talking with my son the other day..." instantly Echine knew nothing good could come from this. Dr. Kazayama's sun was a student at the Shinanome High School and so whatever he had to tell his father, if it pertained to Echine, wasn't good, "and he tells me your going through with this plan of yours. I know its something you talked about with your psychiatrist but your psychiatrist also rescinded the suggestion as soon as he learned about your condition. Leaving alone that you should have told him from the start, as your doctor I can't just sit by and let you do that. All it takes is one small trip and you could be back in the hospital. I don't think I need to remind you that you nearly DIED last time. If we hadn't gotten that blood transfusion, with the required platlets, to recover the blood and staunch the bleeding you wouldn't be here right now." Echine looked him in the eye but didn't say anything, "Look... you're a smart kid, why not work study instead? You're already number 3 in the country, you could make number one if you buckled down!"

Echine looked out the window, "I almost died? Who the hell cares!?" Echine said in a vicious whisper, the doctors point was stupid, "So what do I loose if I die?... besides... does the first place student have his name etched in stone? No... thats only a measurement of potential. Potentialities don't survive when the winds, they don't last. It'll just be another sad thing to say at the eulogy" Echine stood up, "I'm going... might as well get some practice for myself since I let my team off to come here.."

"Gnoto..." Dr. Kazayama stood up but couldn't go to the door. Echine was already storming away... tch... he hated this. No one would be trying to stop him if he were just another kid. Being special was not what he wanted. All these plastic gloves he got from the hospital, they could shove it all where the sun didn't shine. He wasn't going to treat himself as special. He'd work himself as hard as everyone else.

He was some blocks away from the hospital before the storm clouds over his head dissipated. He looked up at the sky and sat down on a nearby bench. Training angry was a quick way to develop bad habits, if he was going to get anything accomplished today he would need to chill a bit... he wondered what his teammates were up to.

Sayuri sighed and glanced out the window. In her house things were scripted her dad had the expected reaction. He'd refused to let her have her AT's her cell phone never got taken away though. Sayuri knew at some point today she'd sneak out to survey the town. Her dad would scream and yell when she got back. She'd cry he'd forgive her and she wouldn't be grounded. It was the script that they constantly went through ever since her mother died.

A few minutes later Sayuri grabbed her AT's and snuck dow the drive. She pulled her AT's on and pocketed her cell phone. Then she was off. Sayuri wandered around on her AT's watching life. The few times she ever came across another on AT's she sped past them sticking her tongue out like a little kid who was two years old. It was this that caused her to run headfirst into a total stranger. "Eek!" Her AT's slipped out from underneath her and she grabbed for balance accidentally taking him down with her. "Sorry" Sayuri muttered ready to get to her feet and leave.

"Whoa, watch where you're going" The guy said.

Sayuri recognized him from her class. "You weren't looking either!"

"Yeah I was!" He said annoyed. Then he recognized her. "Hey you're Sayuri aren't you?" He barely waited for her nod before he smiled. "The girl who always gets an F. I'm Hiraki"

Sayuri blushed furiously. "I know who you are" She said "And I only get Fs because AT's are more important to me"

"Sensei asked me to tutor you"

"WHAT?!?" Sayuri hated tutors. Sensei was always pushing them on her. At least this time it was someone kinda nice. "I don't need a tutor. And Sensei didn't tell me!"

He laughed. "She did tell you I guess you tuned her out." Hiraki helped her up. "Why don't we just walk and I can see how far you are before I start tutoring you"

Kaname awoke to the sun shining it rays through her window. On weekends, Aoi always opened her curtains since light motivated her to actually get out of bed. She sighed heavily and began to stretch but her right arm began to throb as she did so. She winced and brought her arms back down then sat up slowly. She looked down at her bandaged upper arm, a small blotch of dried blood showed through the fabric of the bandages and Kaname reluctantly looked to her sheets where she also saw a little blotch. She sighed and cursed under her breath. There must have been something sticking out of the wall for the cut to be so deep. Kaname decided that she wouldn't ponder upon the possibilities of what it could have been and gathered her sheets together to put them in the wash.

As Kaname left the laundry room she went to the kitchen where Aoi was talking on the phone with someone. She saw Kaname and motioned for her to come to her. "I'll call you back Carrie," her aunt said and set the phone down aftering hanging up. She walked to Kaname and examined bandage. "Gee, it bled through. What in the world did you bump into?" Kaname knew that was a rhetorical question. "Well, if you're planning to go out I'll change you bandages right now." Kaname agreed and soon she had clean bandages wrapped on her arm.

After that was done she jogged upstairs, changed the wheels on her ATs, took her small backpack with her athletic shoes crammed inside, and performed other morning rituals. As she was walking out the door, Aoi called to her, "Kana-chan, remember to check your watch if you come home after dark." Kaname reassured her aunt and stepped out to clear skies and beautiful weather. She smiled to herself. It would be a while before she would meet up with Soji so she decided to go and grab something to eat- the breakfast Aoi made wasn't nearly enough to satisfy her hunger.

Up and out, Soji shot down the road. Already having forgot his own plans for the day, he was in deep thought, but still dodged any oncoming obstacles, namely moving cars.

"Heh, that's right......I was goin' to pick up a new issue of 'Soar,' right? Then I call up Kaname, and maybe I'll even run into another hopeful..." Soji thought, his mind filled with many thoughts, all relating to Air Trek. He really felt as if he was lifting up, not in ATs, but in his team. When he initially created it, he didn't pay it nearly as much attention as he is now, but it was all changing almost instantly.

He stopped by the school to pick up and issue of 'Soar,' and saw the leader of one of the school's most popular teams on the front. One of his goals with ATs was to get Blade Dance in this very magazine. To achieve that, though, he knew that the sky would be his goal, and he planned to reach it. With those thoughts gone, he continued down the street.

Soji slipped out his cell, almost instantly dialing up the number given to him by Kaname yesterday. He held it to his ear, holding the issue of the magazine in his other hand, then looked up at the sky. "Yo, Kaname! Glad to hear my voice?" He joked.

Kaname had used up to ten dollars on her extra breakfast. She thought she was full until her eyes caught an ice cream stand that only appears on weekends. She couldn't help herself when she immediatly walked over to buy one of their unique flavors.

As Kaname made her way down the crowded sidewalk of the city with her chocolate batter and strawberry sprinkled ice cream cone, her cellphone rang. She had completely forgot that Soji was going to call her. The thought of food always distracted her so easily. "Hello?" she answered and heard Soji's chipper reply. She giggled a little. "Of course," she said, playing along. "Though now I've got an incisive ringing in my ear," paused for a second, chuckling, "I'm just joking, Soji. What's up?" She took a lick of her ice cream and smiled even wider. Yum!

Once again, that strange feeling came back. The feeling Soji suddenly got whenever he talked to Kaname. For a long time, Soji was almost unable to talk to a girl without seeing that all she was trying to do was get close to him, without her falling all over him. And yesterday, when he met Aung, who didn't fall all over him, she instead treated him with almost no respect. Kaname, although, was completey different. He was really glad that he could talk to a girl, knowing that all of her intentions were true.

But if she WAS trying to get close to him, then, hell, she was a damn good actor.

"Heh, nothin' much. I was just wondering if we could meet up now, cause if we can, then I can talk to you about really getting you settled into Blade Dance. Your free right now, right?"

Haji opened the window to his room and felt the breeze. How calm and seductive it was. The morning sunshine. The rays of light that seemed to fill his ambition. Bringing him closer and closer to his destiny. How ever it may turn out. Bad or good.

That brought him to his team. Two people. Himself and the stand up queen Kyoko. Ever there when needed. Demanding. Overbearing. At the same time he loved her and based for her safety. She had done alot for him. She was like a sidekick. At the same time however she could handle her own and was very manipulative. Something the Haji himself was not. Maybe she would do better as the team leader. Or should he disband the team? Join another popular team at the school and hand over the boardwalk. Maybe? He was highly unsure.

He was at his wits end. At times he wanted to give up but he loved to fly higher then anyone. That was his dream. To fly to high that no one could catch him. To fly that high but not be stuck down by the heat of the sun. To be the best. That was his dream and was why he couldn't stop. Not intel he reached the heavens.

Due to his popularity, a lot of people would suspect Soji to be one of the uptight, snooty, and/or inconsiderate type of guy. The truth, for the most part, was the opposite. He could actually be caring for others, when he decided they deserved it. Besides, his normal, carefree self needed a break evey now and then, and this was how he got it.

That aside, he began to wonder exactly Kaname was so into that she paused during their conversation. None of his business, he figured.

Aung shifted in a huge blue bed, the sunlight rested just underneath her chin. She groaned at the thought of leaving the warm bed that enveloped her. Aung knew that if she wanted to keep her job though she must move her sorry butt. So with much effort she got up and dressed in old jenes and a white wifebeater(hate the name...) with a sun on it. Not wanting to spend much energy on niceties she threw her hair up into a high ponytail. Aung skipped breakfast and only stayed home long enough to slip on her ATs. After which she zoomed out of the door to work.

When she arrived at work she didn't even bother taking off her ATs as she had done thursday, but just slid the uniform t-shirt over her wifebeater. Her odd ball boss informed her that she was to work the floor today and so she skated around the floor for awhile. Soon though a multitude of boy customers swarmed her and she was fully busy. For the rest of the morning she happily skated around helping people improve their ATs. When the boys weren't hitting on her Aung actually enjoyed talking with them about ATs.

A constant annoyance though was the mention of parts wars. Aung was in no rush to get into one, wanting to preserve that brand new vibe she got from people. When they saw her moves they would undoubtible reckignize her and then everything would go down hill. For a moment that morning her happyness was interupted when a boy almost reckignized her from yet another poster. Aung had promply shredded the poster and denied denied denied. She kept going through it all with the thought that she was getting late afternoon off.

Daichi Iwasaki stared out his window a mused look upon his face. He had come all the way here because of his job only to find that his dear sister was sent here as well. It was safe to say he found it insanely funny. On a serious note he worried about Aung and how him being around would affect her. Knowing Aung she would be furious, but more importantly they might have to battle each other. Even though Daichi had changed his name to Katsu Murata and had told that name to his new team leader. It would undoubtly come about someway or another. Daichi debated for a few more minutes then headed out to meet up with the leader of Blade Dance. He had previously made the team, no suprise, but a new member had arisen he wanted to make sure they were decent. Somehow he didn't trust a seventeen year old boy to make an unbaised judgement.

"I guess I'll see you there then." Kaname was ready to get off the phone so that she could finish her cone before she arrived at Suzu's. "Why do you get bad grades?" Hiraki stopped suddenly to ask.

Sayuri grunted. "Tunnel vision...AT's are usually the only thing on my mind. If I put half as much effort into my grades I might get straight A's." She laughed half-heartedly. "But I don't"

He studied her from the corner of his eye and suddenly turned a different direction. "I know a great ice cream place" He said.

Sayuri blinked. She followed him. Not because she wanted ice cream but more because they had been getting close to Fatality territory and Shiva would undoubtedly coral her for practice. "Is it really good?"

"Ever heard of Suzu's? It's near my place I go there all the time"

Sayuri blinked. "Yeah...uh sure but do we have to talk about my grades in a public place?"

"Alright, I'll meet you there." With that, Soji hung up his cell and continued to skate down the streets.

Caught up in the business with Kaname, and since he was talking members, Soji suddenly was reminded of something else. There was this one other person who joined Blade Dance that he had forgotten about. Not having seen this person in a few days, all he could do was hope he that he hadn't forgotten about Soji, and even more importantly, the team he pledged his allegiance to.

It was later, and Soji finally arrived at Suzu Frosts. The place was nice, and he used to come hear on a more than regular basis, that was, until he started Blade Dance. He let that through simply escape his mind and made his move into the shop, seeing it was packed. Of course.

It wasn't hard to find Soji. He did stand out against the other people in the shop. She smiled and began walking towards him, hearing some giddy whispers coming from a table of girls. She glanced at them and, of course, they were looking at Soji, who had his back toward her and the girls. Kaname merely shook her head and, when she was in soji's hearing range, she said, "Gee Soji, you have admirers everywhere you go. I'm a little jealous. I'm not half as pretty as you are," she said with a teasing smile.

OOC: Lol, I really didn't doubt that you were. ^_^

OOC: There's a shock. :o

Soji had to beat his body up to simply keep it from bursting out in laughter at what she had said to him. Instead, he let out a large grin and scratched the back of his head. "Well, if you got if, you got it. You don't, then your screwed." Soji said, giving back the very teasing smile she gave to him. That was one thing he loved about Kaname, her sense of humor.

"Besides, it's not like I can help lookin' this good. Now, this place never used to be this packed when I use to come here....which is part of the reason I kind of stopped visiting here." It was at that moment that Soji saw one of the waitresses wearing the skimpy outfit. The poor thing, it seemed that those heels would be the end of her. Something struck at that exact moment. "Wait, since you work here, do you......uh, nevermind."

"Now, let's get down to business, shall we? I'll get us a table, although I'm a patheticlly broke soul, looks like I won't be getting any ice cream. I wasn't that hungry anyway." As he talked he walked toward one of the only empty tables in the entire place.

Kaname couldn't help but laugh. She loved Soji's sense of humor and how he was quick on his feet. He was also easy-going which made him easy to talk to. Kaname had to check herself time to time because it was so easy to get comfortable around him and that could be considerably dangerous.

When Soji saw the uniform the female employees were required to wear, she wanted to run and crawl under a rock from shame. She was glad that he let his question die before she had to answer it. She hated those uniforms and having Soji see them was humiliation in itself. She was suddenly extremely glad he was not a regular anymore or else he'd have to see her in the degrading dress.

Kaname followed Soji to an available table and sat herself down. Soji claimed that he had no money for ice cream and that he was not hungry and Kaname couldn't help but feel a little sympthatic, but only because she couldn't even step foot into a shop with food without money or else she would go mad. "Is there anyone else who is interested in joining the team or is it still just the two of us?" For some reason when she said that the song with those lyrics plyed in her head and she was tempted to sing it but resisted the temptation. Just the two of us~

OOC: I'm putting a little bit of my random personality into Kaname. I always break out into song in the middle of class for some reason. >.> Luckily people find it cute or else I'd be very annoying.

"Glad you asked, actually. A while back, I recruited this dude named Katsu, he's a pretty damn skileld guy, although, I don't know much about him. As a matter fact, other than his name, and his look, and his skill, and his attitude, and hi......hell, looks like do know a bit about him, don't I?" Soji said with a chuckle.

"Besides, if I just decided to suddenly recruit a cute girl like you, Aya, whom although much younger and shorter than me, has the ability to strike fear into my very core, would think I'm just some dirty skirt-chaser or whatever. Anyway, I bet you'll meet Katsu sooner or later, he seems like a pretty good guy, once you get to know him." Once again, Soji tried to protect his stature, although it seemed as if he didn't have much to worry about. It was kind of obvious that Kaname knew he wasn't some complete pervert by now.

"Now, other than that, we still need to introduce you to the team emblem, and the uniform that the teams' goin' to wear. I got my and Datsu's uniform ready from a friend of mine, whoms mom just happened to be a tailor, but I'm still have to think of what I should get you. Skirt, pants, legging, or skirt and leg combo?" Soji said, giving an accent that instantly identified that he was joking.

"Uhhh...wow" Sayuri said. The place was super-crowded. "In and out huh?" she asked sarcastically of Hiraki.

"I never said that just that we didn't have to get to stay for long." Hiraki corrected. He squeezed past two girls who hadn't found a place to sit yet and focused on trying to find a table.

Sayuri blinked. "How much time do you have on your hands?"

"More than most I'd guess. I just like their ice cream and I've got the time to be patient. Don't you?"

Sayuri snickered. "Extra time? Me? Oh no, Shiva works us to the bone. Not to mention she's gonna be mad at me 'cuz she can't get in touch for an extra practice today" Extra time was not something she was used to.

"Don't you ever have a little time to yourself?" Hiraki asked skeptically.

"Maybe at school when the sensei's not telling me to focus a little more on my grades. I don't mind AT's are sorta my life" Sayuri said. She fixed her ponytail prepared to wait forever. "You still so sure we can leave?" Sayuri muttered as another table was claimed.

"You have more than just tunnel vision, Ama" Hiraki replied using the nickname that Sayuri had insisted upon earlier. He spotted a table that was left. Several people jostled him trying to get out Hiraki didn't mind, he often came here just to see how many people would even recognize him. It was a game for him, because he took care not to draw attention to himself out side of school.

Sayuri muscled her way past several different people, looking for Hiraki. She'd lost him in the mess of people. He didn't exactly call attention to himself. She caught up with him just as he arrived at a table. She looked around making sure no one else would stake a claim and sat down with him. "I couldn't hear what you said. You lost me when we were looking for a table"

Unfortunately for Shiva, she was unable to con her team into practicing everyday. So instead she was forced to hit the gym alone. Shiva, although very well known, didn't have many friends.. In fact.. She couldn't think of a single person she could call 'friend'. Everyone was either a possible teammate, enemy, boytoy, or some weakling she could exploit. But a friend..?

"Heh, who needs em? Not me. All I need are my trophies." she grinned to herself as she skated into The Viking, a fitness center. She decided to work on some serious strength training that day. She'd hold up Team Fatality on her own if she had to.

Entering the gym she clumsily tore off her ATs and walked up to the receptionist, flashing her her membership card before going to change and shoving her belongings into her locker. It was obviously a slow day that day, there were very few people present in the gym. Shiva preferred that anyhow, she liked being alone.. Didn't she?

Kaname giggled and shrugged once. "It really doesn't matter to me. I haven't worn a skirt since I was about ten... not counting the uniform," she said, leaning on the table on her elbows. "But that's pretty cool. I'm looking forward to meeting him." Kaname didn't mind being the only girl on the team. She knew that Soji meant well and she didn't doubt that this Katsu was harmless as well. Besides, she could defend herself as well. She grew up as a tomboy and living near farming lands where she and Akane would work during the summer for money. Kaname may look frail but she's a tougher cookie than most people take her for.

Sai trudged down the busy street, it seemed as if everyone was out today. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he made his way through a crowd outside of Suzu's, an ice cream shop. That place was really hopping..

He continued past the shop until he spotted a familiar figure.. "Sayuri..?" he muttered to hisself, stopping for a moment. It was then that he saw Hiraki, a popular boy at their school who was known for being a good student. Sai couldn't connect how this boy would be Sayuri's type, but..

Sai suddenly realized he was staring. Shoot, he hoped neither of them noticed.. shaking his head he hurried by, continuing down the street. Well.. if Hikari made Sayuri happy, then it was for the best.

Sai, though posessing natural ability, never had any drive or ambition, let alone the self confidence needed to go after anything he wanted. If things happened, they happened, and that was that. Even if he did like Sayuri.. "That's just the way it is.."

Hiraki sighed. "I said you have more than..." He caught sight of someone outside the window. "...Who's that?"

Sayuri looked up. "Who's who?" She asked. She glanced up by that time no one was at the window.

"It looked sorta like Sai" Hiraki mumbled. He shoved at a strand of hair. "Nevermind I was saying that you have more than just tunnel vision if ATs are your life" Hiraki looked at the window again half-expecting the same person to be out there staring in. He hadn't gotten at good look but he was pretty sure it was Sai, Sayuri's teammate. Not that he would be sure it was him even if he had gotten a better look Hiraki couldn't ever remember seeing him aside from when Shiva was around. "Are you sure there was no one there?"

Sayuri blinked. "I'm not sure" She admitted. "You could run down the street screaming 'Who was staring at me?!?!' if you wanted to"

Hiraki laughed. "Yeah, that'd be great. Everyone come ogle at Hiraki he's gone crazy"

Sayuri shrugged. "I'm not sure we'll get service anytime soon and dad'll kill me if I get home too late" He'd kill her when she got home early but Sayuri wanted an excuse to get out. People had begun to stare and whisper. Even a few had come by to say something mean. "And It's getting a little annoying to have poeple bump my arm or back every two seconds"

Hiraki shrugged. "We could just walk if you wanted, Ama, I've never actually seen it so crowded"

Sayuri pushed back and almost hit a jock. He growled something at her and Sayuri picked her bag up. "It's a little close"

"Sorry" Hiraki said as they left. He noticed someone ahead on the sidewalk. He was a few blocks ahead but Hiraki could swear it was the person who was looking in the window. "Is that Sai?" He asked Sayuri.

She strained her eyes. "I can't tell from here. But there's a park that might be less crowded." She dug her ATs out of her bag and slipped them on. "Lemme check" She darted forward weaving between people. She nearly tripped over the fat man from a few days ago but she continued on mostly just because she liked the freedom her wheels represented.

OOC: *revives*

"I'm sure that he'll be glad to meet you as well. Although, he isn't really the kind of guy who would simply say 'Hell, she's cute, she's in.'" Soji said, taking a look around the parlor. A very devious thought of Kaname possibly serving him at this place one day crossed his mind, and he couldn't help but let equally devious grin cross his face.

He then returned back to reality.

"He may just have to evaluate you himself before he accepts you. Although, don't worry, whatever he throws at you, you'll just take it head on, right?" Soji said, arching his eyebrow.

Kaname arched an eyebrow when she saw Soji get a strange look on his face. She had an uneasy feeling about it but shrugged it off and returned her attention to him when he started talking again. She nodded after he finished and smiled slightly. "Yeah, thanks. So is her meeting us here today or what?" Kaname couldn't help but want to Soji what made him get such a odd look before but she thought it'd be better left unsaid.

Katsu scanned the horizen as he skated towards the Suzu Ice Cream shop. He found it relaxing to just skate, just watch the ground in front of him flow by. I don't know how anyone could possibly not love ATs, Katsu thought as he finally reached Suzu's. He guided his way through the massive crowds, but it seemed as if it was easier for him then others. But Katsu was use to this treatment, in fact he expected it. So with out a second thought he motioned for someone to get him a drink, and unsuprisingly a freshman girl complied.

Katsu saw Soji sitting with a girl and placed himself as far away from her as possible when he sat down. "So is this our new team member or just your newest girlfriend?" Katsu said without regard for the girl. "I got us that emblem stuff you wanted," he said motioning toward he had been carrying. Inside was stickers, clothes, and other things bearing their emblem. "I did come up with some very useful gadgets for us to use." he said after the two had examened some of the items in the box. Katsu dug into the bottom and brought out two items. One looked like a hightech cellphone and a pair of sun glasses/goggles with a ear bud attached. "Try it out and tell me what you think." Katsu said with a cocky smile.

OOC: sorry for not posting in like ever I've been totally bad roleplayer.

"Yo, how are you Soji? I'm good. You? That well? Great, who's the girl? Kaname, you say? Nice to meet you!" Soji acted out, demonstrating a much more common greeting. With a chuckle, he continued on. "And we both know I'm a lone wolf, right?" Yet another person Soji could have normal conversations with.

"Anyway, you partly guessed it. Katsu, this is Kaname, the newest member of Blade Dance. I already told her how much of a bad guy you are, so don't be suprised if she tries to slit your throat or whatever, she's pretty damn aware of your evil doings." As he continued his jokes, Soji took a look over at the new 'gadgets' Katsu brought with him. A little overachieving, but it was alright with Soji.

"Aw, nice! I've seen this kind of stuff in movies, ya know? Always wanted to try one out." Soji realized that he was totally geeking out at the moment, but that was also partly a joke. Partly.

"And Kaname, this is Katsu. He's already heard of your psycho-like blood lust, so if he ever sees you around and decides to duck and cover, just call it a reflex."

Kaname chuckled at Soji's ongoing jokes and nodded. She extended her hand towards Katsu, "It's nice to meet you Katsu." She wanted to show friendliness toward him seeing as they are going to be on the same team. By the way he had sat so far from her gave her the impression that either he had some fear of girls or that she wasn't going to be getting much respect from him.
