Wow same here.
My mom allways wondered why I went around singing japanese songs and watching anime and buying a lont of manga.
I had her watcha few episodes of naruto and Bleach.

She watches them both now everytime they come on.

Though there was an interesting time coming back from a field trip long, long ago. We were early enough that we would have to attend a full class. I idly wished we would get stuck in traffic so that wouldn't happen. Few minutes later the bus stopped. A tree had fallen on the road in front of us, which held us up enough to get back juuust as school was letting out.

Let's see... the only wishes that came true of mine are when I wished to get out of the town I was living in (Kinda wished that in anger.) and about 6 months later we moved 200 miles north of there. Then a year later I realized how awesome my old town was and wished we could move back and now we're back here ^.^; The wierd thing is that I never told my mom I wanted to move o.O

I wish my parents didn't ban so called "mind-controlling japanese media", being anime, manga, videogames...

That doesn't stop me from torrent'ing/youtube'ing every episode I want to see. My parents dont't even think I watch anime even more. They are strictly anti-violence, so they would never allow most shows. If they caught me watching Death Note, or an episode of Bleach in which they bleed for half-an-hour straight (seriously, WTF!?), I would be in deep shirts.

I gave up on wishes a loong time ago. I realized that really, just wishing doesn't solve any problems, you have to go out and make it happen on your own. None of my wishes have come true, but i'm prefectly happy as it is. Instead of wishes, i've changed them into goals.
