Well you don't really need all C4Ds if you don't want them, in the end you can just use some nice brushes since they'll all get smudged/blurred/displaced whatever, but that's up to you ^^

I tried the same smudge tutorial and it turns out to be not satifying. I will try yours and see if I can succeed. ^^ Thank you for the tutorial.

Btw, what's a C4D?

C4D is like... a 3D render. It's a great help if you want to add some cool effects to the signature (but to make it blend in you need to play with blending modes and more).

It's just like a normal render without a background.
