Really, really, sloppy guitar playing. But the song Ex's and Oh's is really tight, and the drummer is pretty insane.

I absolutely loathe this band. Have a listen to "The Hive" by In Flames from Whoracle and then listen to "Right Side Of The Bed" and you will find that 90% of the riffs are a perfect match. I'm totally over the whole Metalcore bands stealing Melo Death riffs. Not all of them do it of course but most of them do. I'd rather listen to Darkest Hour, Heaven Shall Burn and The Autumn Offering [overlook the obvious Arch Enemy influences and it's pretty good]. These bands have a distinct style that is carried over through their albums.

It so doesn't matter how good [or bad] their newer albums are. The fact that they were like that is something I'll always hold against them.

They're a horrible band, and their latest two albums smell of sell-out and fake so horribly its disgusting.

I had a friend who liked Atreyu. He wore a shirt of the band which began my questioning. He showed me some of their stuff. I thought about it, turned to him and in the most honesty said, "Burn that shirt and never listen to this crap again."

I can't believe how many kids have Atreyu shirts at uni. I never realised how popular they were until I started looking for band shirts =|.

i see atreyu as an average band. they got few insanely good songs, but most of it is crap
