I apologize if I'm spamming, just trying to get my point across.

INITIATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does your school have them? Like the annual hazing of the freshmen? Our school has the Gauntlet. Grade 12's (seniors) stand on opposite sides of the hallway and push/shove freshmen trying to make them fall before they make it through the end of the Gauntlet. They never got me as a freshmen because I was bigger than half of the seniors XD

Your turn.

If there is one I'm unaware of it, and I'm glad because apparently they won't do it to me.

Nah, we didnt have anything like that, the seniors just drove around after the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade finals and egged them lol. I was lucky through-out all 3 years, NEVER got hit and wasnt even attempted to be a target by any of the seniors.

Hmmm, sounds like a bunch of stupid immature brats to me (the "Gauntlet" that is or any other "initiation" ritual at a high school).

You know at my school all of the dumb white kids were planning on fighting all of the dumb Mexican kids. That's the kind of school it was. Retarded and immature. Like most high schools across America.

They're banned in a lot of places--for good reason as well. The area that I went to high school in actually had a couple of deaths because people take it too far. Honestly, holding someone's head under water, isn't that funny when that person ends up dying for a bit of a joke.

Initiation sounds so stupid and American (thank god I live in England) the WORST that will happen to a "freshman" (year 7) in my old highschool is you get pointed the wrong way when asking an older person for directions.

Nope, it doesn't happen in my school. I probably don't want something like that in my school anyways. Sounds immature and irresponsible.

Sounds exactly like my school lol because it is HUGE!!!! poor yr 7's with no older brothers or sisters to warn them...

but they wouldn't need to do anything like the "Gauntlet", it sounds just like when we are all changing lessons-try going down a narrow corridor, with 300 people all trying to do the same thing, and lots of chavs making attemptes to seem cool by seeing if they can make a human domino's lol

Nothing like that at my school really...but there have been competitions.Recently there was a Seniors vs. Teachers football game(Okay, I don't think that counts >_<).They also held something last school year called the "Twisted Olympics." I don't remember all the details to it, but it was basically Juniors vs. Seniors.

In some school's here in Sweden they do have that thing Senior vs. Freshmen or whatever, but usually they just do something humiliating for the freshmen that isn't too serious but more like playful and funny.
Lately it's been like this: Seniors invite Freshmen to do something after school. What do they do?
Three words. Drugs and alcohol.

That's why they stopped with that in a lot of schools here. I did not do anything like that when I started in my new school.

At my old Highschool (Where I currently work) We have Freshman Friday. All of the seniors target Freshman and beat them up. o.O; 36 Beatings per year is the average. I never got hit though. Because before I went to highschool Everyone realized I would hit back x.x A freshman this year got thrown down the stairs. Brutal stuff.

Nah, my high school was so new, they hadn't developed those things yet there.

Also: How come the freshmen doesn't file class action suit against the seniors, or the school for that matter? After all, someone must have a parent that is a money grubbing... person of the law.

Mine is, but there was never anything proper to getcha freak on over, I'm afraid.
Everyone's so passive in Norway : (
The only thing that showed seniority was having special places to sit in the main hall during breaks.
