I do dearly hope that this thread stays open enough to truly act as a showcase. All the others... reoginazation and vauge names closed 'em down. But, the past is past.

To kick things off, my Rhiannon set:

It's nice to see something different from the usual anime/game signature

It looks really nice, though the signature looks a bit too grey-ish (I know not a word, but you know what I mean), I would have liked to see it more saturated with colour...
On the other hand the avatar s rich in colour, so the contrast between avatar and signature works really well.

Hoping to see more of your works,
~Uru

Keep up the good work, Id like to see more. ;3

In the spirit of the upcoming 2008 presidential race, I decided to show my support for my favorite candidate in set format.

Here is my set for Admiral Helena Cain, former CO of the Battlestar Pegasus. I went for a sepia/old photo look here. The quote on the signature comes from a peice of dailouge from Razor, where she's explaining what seperates common soldiers from Razors. I was test the avatar's size, not actually intending to use that image, but then I saw how it captured her glare and personality, so, I ran with it.

The sets are cool, but just a tad blurry, are you saving them jpegs? Try pngs.

I like the first one, very colorful.
The second one is...imaginative. x3

I just plain dont' like the third one, too wordy.

I use a controllable blur filter images because I think it makes them look nicer. There's nothing about format in there.

After almost a year's hiatus, I come back and in one fell swoop more than double the number of sets in my thread. I work infrequently, but surely.
