There are a lot of good games, but for the most of them you have to pay.

I thought about a thread were we collect links to free games. And I don't mean MSN games, or other simple games. But links to FULL and enjoyable games.

So in short:

No shareware or demo's. No free games like chess or checkers, ... Just fun full games.

To start i'll give you my collection:

America's Army: Special Forces

This is an online shooter. A lot of people play it.

Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe was released as a promo for HD 2. 264 Mb. WWII tactical shooter. Good fun.

Giant Fighting Robot Roguelike. That's really all there is to be said. It's pretty awesome. I haven't got a chance to play 2 yet, so I can't tell you about that.

I used to play Americas Army until my clan kicked me out.. then i lost interest, but its a very addicting game and one i would recommend to anyone.

btw, it takes like 3.5gbs of hard drive space so idn where you got the 900mbs thing.

Well, if you want adventure games, Revolution Games has released some of their old stuff as freeware.

It's pretty old stuff though. You might need DOSBox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1) or SCUMMVM (http://www.scummvm.org/) to run it.

Oh, and if you'd like to delve into an abstract version of the exciting world of structural engineering (and who wouldn't?) check out bridge builder.

There is a games network for everyuone called byond it is free to download no system requirements for the pc not sure for a mac, but if you get the hub you also get a free daemon which they let you make a game your self with. this helps you also you get over 2000 games to play all fan made from action to anime and Rp games to

Why don't you try one of the games above and exert some willpower if it is addicting? We don't understand your psyche enough to blindly suggest games that you'd conceder fun-but-not-too-fun.
