Well the title says it all - what books are people reading;

myself I am reading several including:
The Dreaming Void - by Peter Hamilton
A Clash of Kings -George R.R. Martin (a must read fantasy)
Post Captin - Patrick O'Brian (great read with brilliant characters)
Path of Honour (not the best but readable)
Memories of Ice - Steven Erikson (long and full of epic magic)
Jerle Shannara - TerryBrooks
Lord Foul's Bane - Stephen Donaldson (one of the most evil good guys)

wow seeing like this makes me think that I really must do some non stop reading for a week to finish some!

PhoenixChan*~ - you think you got problems - I forgot to add one book to my list - Eragon by Christopher Paolini
decided to read it after seeing the film and is now convinced that film makers should stay away from books - or that the author should keep a firmer grip on directors. - Northern Lights prove me wrong - please!

Blood Stain - True story about a woman who was so enraged by her de facto partner considering leaving her that she methodically murdered him, butchered him, and prepared a meal out of him to serve to his two children. Now that's revenge.

I'm contemplating reading Atonement by Ian McEwan again after this, only to be so lost once again in the story that the ending will still send me reeling.

I'm only reading 2 free reading books right now. I'd read more, but I think that my brain might just explode.

The first one is Train Man by Hitori Nakano. It's a really sweet love story about a geeky guy who rescues this girl from an abusive man on the train. I think it's interesting because it's not in story format, but rather like a forum which, specifically, becomes a support group for him as he persues this chick.

The other one is called Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. Because a lot of people read this series, I'm not going to really go into a detailed synopsis. (: But if you like vampires and werewolves, it's an extremely good series to read and I highly recommend it.

Lord of the Flies by William GoldingGood book. It made me mad, but I think that's what Golding was aiming for.

Me, right now I'm reading Tempest by William Shakespeare. I think he's overrated, but I do think he's a really good play-writer. I hated Romeo and Juliet, but Macbeth, Othello, and Tempest are excellent.

Next on my reading list: Stupidest Angel by Chris Moore. I'm a big fan of Moore ever since I read A Dirty Job, which I highly suggest.

Me, right now I'm reading Tempest by William Shakespeare. I think he's overrated, but I do think he's a really good play-writer. I hated Romeo and Juliet, but Macbeth, Othello, and Tempest are excellent.

As famous as he is, good ol' Bill can be a rather acquired taste. Personally, I'd suggest taking a look at Twelfth Night, a favorite of mine or the quite popular Much Ado About Nothing. Both are entertaining once one gets beyond the "bleh it's that weird Shakespeare stuff" factor.
"Better a witty fool, than a foolish wit."-The fool of Twelfth Night, one of my favorite quotes throughout literature.
