Genre: Indie Rock

This is a canadian band who have been around since 2003. In that short time they have released 2 full lenghts and and E.P. There one of the biggest name s out there in indie circles and the reason why is there live show. I've been to a 1000 plus concerts and this is easily one of the best I've ever seen. If you never given them a listen you really should I don't think you will be disapointed.

Most of my friends prefer the album Funeral but both of there albums are wonderful though. For people who prefer music with tremendous musical arrangement and an almost ludicrous amount of instrumentation in some songs. Enjoy.

I love these guys with a passion. Their music is so infectiously wonderful. Neon Bible = Best Indie Album Of 2007. I feel like listening to Funeral now. What a great band.

Oh man, guys! I hear you loud and clear! Arcade Fire is an astoundingly talented band! Their musical scores are ridiculously detailed and very melodic, it's literally fun to listen to. Also, the chick who's like the lead singer's wife (Who's so very ugly) has a great voice. "In the Back Seat" off of Funeral is probably my favorite track. "No Cars Go" Is my favorite off of Neon Bible. Great band, I'd love to go to a show of theirs.

I just found this band recently and so far I'll I've listened to Funeral and right now I'm kind of split. I mean, Neighborhood #1 is an amazing song and definately worth the price of admission but the rest of the album is uninspiring. Except for a couragous showing by the also good (Laika) there is nothing that can really hold a candle to (Tunnels). The songs range from the good but forgetable (Power Out) to the down right annoying Crown of Love. I will say its a very atmospheric album so if you dig the atmosphere you will love it but if your indifferent to it then the some of the songs don't really have their own legs.

I actually enjoyed their Self Titled more than Funeral and much more than Neon Bible. Neon Bible was...eh, a little disappointing. Intervention's a great song, but uh...other than that it was "good" but it didn't floor me like Self Titled and Funeral.

If thats the case then I'll have to give Self-Titled a try... I mean Funeral has an amazing song in Tunnels and solid follow up in Laika and some of the other songs are can grow on ya but aren't revolutionary. If they could give a all around improvement to that then they may have a top 50 album on their hands.
