I think the song "Oo! Happiness" from the first Mahoromatic Maxi Single (it was never actually used in the show) is quite touching and beautiful, but I've never been able to find a translation of the lyrics anywhere. I really want to know what the characters are saying/singing.
If anyone would be able to help me translate the lyrics, I could send the song to you. I realize that distributing music files is generally frowned upon, but the Maxi Single is out of print, and GAINAX is generally quite lenient when it comes to distribution of their goods. In fact, earlier this summer at Fanime Con, Hiroyuki Yamaga (president of GAINAX and director of Mahoromatic) actually said to feel free to download fansubs of their shows as long as, if you really like the show, you buy the DVDs to suport GAINAX. He even encouraged downloading fansubs of Gurren-Lagann.
So, yes, I'd be really appreciative if someone translated the song for me. ^_^
