Due to my own lazyness this has been directly copied from the LiveJournal User thecert, kudos my friend.

Want to see more about the VHD manga slated for release later this year? The manga series (yes, folks, a series) now has its own website at http://www.vampire-d.com/ (http://www.vampire-d.com/). You can skip the Flash intro, but you don't want to miss that cheezy all-manga animation. After the Flash intro is the site proper, http://www.vampire-d.com/home.html (http://www.vampire-d.com/home.html).

Warning: Like the Flash intro, the site was not designed for the convenience of dial-up users. Each of the various pages linked off the home page (Character Profiles, The Manga, The Novel, Creator Profiles, Purchase, Links, Community) takes most of a minute to load on my connection. And once you're there, you may find some parts frustrating: When I checked it out, they apparently didn't have all the links loaded under Character Profiles (a bunch of thumbnails, but nothing when you click), or anything on the Novels page. Nonetheless, there are a few cool items. According to Creator Profiles, artist Saiko Takaki is a "very close friend" of author Hideyuki Kikuchi. In Community, the Forums link opens a new window: not much traffic there yet, but you can change that!

The manga apparently will be based on the novels. Manga 1 and 2 are based on novels 1 and 2, respectively.

If you feel the site doesn't have enough samples of the artist's work, check out his website at http://www.ne.jp/asahi/falcontree/takaki/ (http://www.ne.jp/asahi/falcontree/takaki/). This URL comes with a big tip of the hat to http://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif (http://erin-c-1978.livejournal.com/profile)erin_c_1978 (http://erin-c-1978.livejournal.com/), who found it through dauntless application of her fearsome Google-fu. Click on Enter. Yep, there's the cover of the first manga! For more art, click on D+, Illustration. For doujinshi excerpts, click the first kanji header under D-manga (two red kanji on a dark red bar). After that, keep clicking "next" to see doujinshi pages. Color images of D are accessible also: click links in the left-hand column that starts with "D" and "for you."

And don't forget to keep checking that VHD manga site for updates
