Ghost Stories ADV dub

Saw it at an Anime convention. Never laughed so hard in my life so I've been buying every DVD of it I can find.

Anyone else a fan of this off colour humour?

Ghost stories was originally the 1 season 20 episode of a girl whose mother had just died but left a notebook full of supernatural findings. her little brother finds a positively menacing talking cat who always knows way to much about the goings on. her and her high school friends go around solving ghost mysteries like Scooby Doo (but with real ghosts)

It was originally pretty good, (I thought spectacular) but ADV thought it needed more. So the dubbing was done in the style of mystery science theater 3000.

Her little brother was constantly being accused of homosexuality,
The hot Psychic exchange student is changed to a racist Christian
Her nerdy male friend is changed to a Jew
The cat gets all the best lines
Her dead mother they make references to her being a lesbian
Her dad (Who is also one of their teachers) is changed to be a strip club frequenting absentee dad.

My fave episode is the one with the Were-bunny.
