If you have a 100 mbit connection, it's fairly run of the mill. I know this isn't as common as it is here in Sweden in all parts of the world, but here you can get a 100 mbit connection for 30 pop a month.

The computer labs at uni have a gigabit connection. (That is, they can theoretically reach 100 Mb/s.) That's pretty impressive.

According to this speed test (http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/)...

My download speed, on Firefox, is over 8000 kbps. On IE, it's about 6500.

Upload speed on Firefox is almost 900 kbps. On IE, it's 1525.

Fun.

you can call me "Download/Upload g33K".. All my time is wasted in downloading/uploading ANIME and adding english subtitles... I really like high speed downloads thats why I posted this thread... I thought someone like high speed downloads..... :( looks like no one do...
