I know a lot of people know about Enigma or have heard them without knowing who they are, but for those who know Enigma and love the music, talk about your experiences with their music. How did you first find out about Enigma? What song was your first favorite?

Famous Songs:
Gravity of Love
Return to Innocence
Silence Must Be Heard
Turn Around

and many more for each fan....

I have a personal liking for the songs Boum-Boum, Page of Cups, Shadows in Silence, The Roundabout, Sitting on the Moon, and Rivers of Belief.

I <3 enigma, I love their song return to innocence but since it's an 80's band (correct me if I'm wrong), I haven't heard their other songs. XD

I got drawn into Enigma through another singer-Enya. They sung Return to Innocence together, and I liked that song so much, I decided to check out more of both their work. My favorites for Enigma so far have to be Between Mind and Heart, Black Moon Dance and Gravity of Love.

No, they didn't. ...That's preposterous, considering the vocals on that track are distinctly male. The guest vocalist for that song was Angel X, or Andreas Harde, whichever you prefer.

If anything, THIS reference could be made concerning Enya's work outside of her solo career: Clannad (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clannad)

I'm surprised. Not very many people like Enigma, and I thought I was the only one here, at least. ^^'

Kudos to you. My Father introduced me to them, believe it or not!

I'm not surprised.

One, the genre is not as obscure as it used to be. If anything, along with Enya, Enigma's helped popularize it.

Enigma's really not that unheard of. If anything, for the genre, they are pretty "mainstream".

Actually, the man's voice is vocolizing in the backround, and echoing "Return to Innocence" afterwards. There is a woman's voice actually singing the lyrics. Proof. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxvjBfLvTfs)

I actually like Enigma a lot. "Return to Innocence" is what got me started with them, my parents listen to them all the time. So I remember back when they weren't all that popular. =)

You linked me to YouTube. That proves nothing. Here, I found the album's accreditation, including members of the group AND guest vocalists for the album: It's the first entry. (http://www.answers.com/topic/the-cross-of-changes)
