Spring is on its way. So I plan to make a travel to Spain, A beautiful country. But I have never been to Europe for a holiday and especially not to Spain. I hope someone can give me some constructive suggestions to help me make a happy trip there. [/FONT][FONT=Verdana]Any help would be much appreciated!

Depends on where you're staying in Spain. Though if you ask my personal opinion, my favorite place was the city Cordoba. The most historically beautiful town that I've ever been to, actually.

1. Learn some Spanish. Although Spain has 3 main languages, Castilian (official), Catalan and Galician, learning some Spanish is better than going without knowing any.

2. Learn some Spanish culture. It could come in handy.

3. Although not as frequent as they used to, watch out for siestas. Some shops and museums could be closed during the afternoon, so plan accordingly.

4. Try some Spanish food. McDonald's is good and all but it does not give the same experience as trying foreign food (paella is good and I don't care what they say).
