View Full Version : If you could ask why of anything, what would it be?

The title is self explanatory. Ask why of anything you wish.

Let's start.
My first question would be: Why have you started this thread?

Fiery
03-07-2007, 08:53 AM
Because I want to reassure myself that other forum members actually think, and for themselves.

Hopefully they do so.
My second question, please keep it rhetorical:
'Why is my life as it is?'

Fiery

(Only if you can spell rhetorical.)

This was my second purpose: To get someone to post something like that.

I'm sorry, I cannot help but point out that the reason you don't know the answer is because you haven't defined the word "is".

Silly you, of course they don't.

"Is"...3rd person singular from the verb 'to be'.
For definitions, google or Oxford.

Silly you, of course they don't.

It only took one question to get that answer. It was a moment of weakness! I knew the answer before I even asked the question. See, I even answered my own 'why' question.

Why did I create the situation if I already knew the outcome? To torture myself, to face reality!

You're already not thinking for yourself.

Perhaps it was some sort of freudian thing? Your subconscious wanted you to face what you already knew: AF is really just a playground for various half-baked artificial intelligences, designed to simulate teenagers, but through some sort of flaw in coding, they all seem to be fanatically interested in anime.

ah...a provocation.
To be-expresses the state of existence.
to be=etre
to be=sein
to be=a fi

I agree with facing what I already knew, but I fear that the thing stated as being known is much worse and more basic than that. But it made me laugh!

You're not exacting revenge. I thought you might be interested in stopping for your own sake.

The thread has lost it's point a long time ago.
As about my sake...my sake:...I'm lost for a long time. There's nothing more to worry about.

Haha, this thread's purpose has already been executed. That, I should thank you for.

However, posters should still feel free to state what their 'why' question would be. Maybe more people will make my day.

Well, not all of us (us, being members other than you, the thread creator, and Eris) are obsessed-with-anime, overly-hormonal, moody, intellectually-challenged, naive teens with nothing better to do than to try to be popular on the internet. Just wanted to point that out.

Now, my 'Why' question:

Why did Adelphia/Comcast switch from Motorola cable modems to RCA ones? Out of a contractual agreement, necessity, or otherwise?

Edit: I was going to ask that, too, Beast.
