My number one guilty pleasure as of late. This band is so effin' catchy. That "Here (In your arms)" song is like Aids, it's contagious, and dehibilitating....but fun! I have their whole Dinosaurs, Vampires, whatever the rest was I forget CD and it has some good ones. For a weird emo/pop/electronica band they're pretty good. Not as boring as some other ones. It's like the talented panic at the disco gets beat up by daft punk.

What do you think?

They're Power Pop/Synthpop. =P

I listened to their album, but the whole time I just sat their muttering "I'd rather be listening to Freezepop right now." So afterwards I took out the hellogoodbye CD and put in Freezepop, the far superior synthpop band. <3

I've been proper obsessed with HGB for aaaages, since the beginning!! It is quite sad how they have been adopted my the emo scene as I think Forrest (the brains behind them) is almost like an anti-emo figure. He sees music as being all about having fun and does not dress to impress a certain scene or crowd; he is a refreshing personality and I think this is really reflected in the music he writes and the rather inventive videos they have!

Dear Jamie.. Sincerly Me.. genuis video! Had me close to tears : D

Yeah, I never did understand why they're being branded emo. =/

I admit I really like that song Here (In Your Arms), but their other things aren't really my style.

But they're all so cute I can't help but like them. ;D

The best part of that entire video is definately when the lead keytar player hooks up with the camp staff member. That made me laugh, especially when he high fives the bass keytar player while he's on the ground getting freaky. It was pretty damn funny.

Always been a fan of the synth pop/technoie stuff, HGB being no exception, they're pretty new to me though, but I dig 'em.

Hellogoodbye is good, but there are other bands out there that I like better. As in The Postal Service. They're good.
But Shimmy Shimmy Quater Turn by them is good. That's got to be my favorite by them. (:

It's incredibly hard not to like "Here (In Your Arms)". I wanted to hate it, but...I gave into temptation! Oh, be damned!

So catchy it's almost painful.

Freezepop, the far superior synthpop band. <3

I checked out freezepop because of this statement. And let me say this

Freezepop = Cancer of the ears. I hated it, hellogoodbye is much more fun to listen to.

I love the song "Baby it's fact", it's just so cute. So that's my favourite song. Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn is awesome too :3

For the win, seeing as I'm a giant authority on all music that contains synth elements:

Freezepop is god awful.
