Mine is Futari wa Pretty Cure 'cause I love it so much that i'll do anything to watch a single episode or something. I love it more than Puni Puni Poemy.

My favorite would have to be Sailor Moon. Cliche? A little.

I love the diversity in the characters and their interactions. Whether it be with each other, themselves or their past, it's always either laughable or emotional.. okay, both are easily laughed at.

My favorite aspect of the show, though, would have to be the ridiculous villains, especially those from the last two seasons (even if they weren't the best). The attack sequences and battle scenes were so outrageous that it was hard not to enjoy them.

All in all, I love Sailor Moon and I haven't really found a Magical Girl anime other than that one that really suits my tastes at all, save for Puni Puni Poemi.

well my MOST FAVE MG ANIME IS: Sailor Moon!!!!!!! I just love the show, it was the first magical girl anime I watched, I seen it when I was 5 or 6. I didn't really understand the story, I just found it cool, I didn't really understand why sailor moon would cry, or I didn't even know that serena was a princess!!! But now I understand it clearly, I get it why she would do all that stuff.

It would have to be Full Moon wo Sagashite. The series in a whole is one I really love. Before I watched it, two years ago, I listened to the song Eternal Snow from the anime a lot due to an AMV when I was first finding newer and different Japanese animes. The song helped me through a lot, and when my gramps died, I decided to watch it. It taught me a lot of things, it also taught me how to understand people. It makes me cry. I love it to death. >.<

I love the anime because the people you tend to think are villians either have a bad past or are just scared and confused so they make mistakes etc. Also the characters are unique, and you tend to feel very emotional about the characters and their pasts ;( But I love this anime! =3

Seeing how many people are stated Nanoha,I'll take my time to say that Nanoha can't possibly be the magical girl,not as a character,and not as a show...
The magical girl genre is understandably focused primarily on relationships,the pursuit of love, and other similar themes...
Nanoha,meanwhile,is noted for its magical girls engaging in earth-shattering battles with devastating laser barrages and bone-shattering impacts...
You can't possibly place it under magical girls,mainly because it's a magical girl only on surface,and that fact alone disqualifies it as a magical girl show...

Ehm...for the sake of answering,Cardcaptor Sakura for me...
It's the best of that type out there ^^

Hard to say which one's my favourite, they're all pretty similar. But so far I've liked at least one aspect of the animes I've watched so far.

Loved Sailormoon's characters; Loved Tokyo Mew Mew's Ichigo; Loved Mermaid Melody's songs; Loved Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne's transformations and costumes; Loved Pretear's storyline; Loved Cardcaptor Sakura's cuteness and originality...

But Sailormoon still leaves the most impression on me though, don't know why. :)

Mine is without a doubt Cardcaptor Sakura. I love the concept of the Clow Cards and the relationships are really interesting. It has nostalgia value for me since I started watching it in middle school and will be graduating from college in 2010...it's one of those titles that just sticks with you! Sakura and Syaoran's relationship is also my romantic ideal...sappy as that is, it can't be helped!

My second favorite is Tokyo Mew Mew...in manga form, as I've yet to see the anime all the way through :)

My favourite magical girl series is Mermaid Melody. It always made me laugh, and the music was fantastic. And even the villains were gorgeous! :D

My second favourite is Shugo Chara. I just recently started it, but I already love it. ^^

And of course, I cannot forget Sailor Moon. That was the first magical series I ever watched, so it has some nostalgia rooted in it. I'll always be a fan of this series.

Actually it is writen "Sailor Moon", i'm portuguese and here we call it "Navegantes da lua" so i'm not really familiar with the other names, i'll try be more carefull the next time

Sailor Moon was actually the very first anime I watched. Saw it when I was 10, 11 maybe? I liked the way the characters were animated, and I was curious as to what other anime there was. Thus began my anime obsession. So yeah, Sailor Moon is my favorite magical girl.
