I don't know if anyone else cares, But the trailer for the second Fantastic 4 movie is out. Both this sequal, and spider-man 3 coming out in the same month means a nice cash-flow for Marvel.

Heres the trailer: Featuring an awsome chase scene between the Human Tourch and The Surfer.

I must say, this caught my attention more than the Spiderman 3 trailer (And I Favor spiderman over the Fantastic 4)
Silver Surfer also means Galactus. And of course, Galactus is instant win.
Especially after the first one did so well, I suspect the sequal to be highly anticpated as well.
Doubted, but is anyone else looking forward to this as much as I am?

*Deadpools fanboy is showing*
Also can't wait till they release a trailer for the Ironman movie schedualed for 2008.

No, not yet. Hopefully in a few months, maybe sooner. Then again I would settle for a teaser trailer.

The second Fantastic Four movie trailer doesn't make sense, Silver Surfer is not originally a bad guy

He's supposed to be a defender

Actually, by serving Galactus as his Herald, The Surfer was a defender. By agreeing to the role of Herald, Galactus in turn spared the surfers homeworld of Zenn-La. Of course, by defending his planet, The Surfer had to doom countless others, as it was his purpse to search the universe for new planets for Galactus to consume. Ones teeming with life energy.

This seems to be going in the spot-on direction. It was the fantastic 4 who had originally turned The Surfer against Galactus. So this seems like it shall carry on with the comic continium. Of course, I look forward to a nice, lengthy fight with Galactus. However, it puzzles me that The Human Tourch may be killed off early on. But like most comic books and the movies they become, he'll most likely be ressurected, Possibly by the Surfers power cosmic.
I expect a good show from The Surfer, and hopefully he and Thing will go toe to toe. Neither of them are pushovers in the strength department.

Oh, and all if this should be covered in the wiki articale that I didn't notice till after this post O_o

I wasn't a huge fan of the first movie, but it was more of a introduction movie and that gives me hope for the sequal.Where we don't have to get all that intro story, and we can just have some good old comic book action and cool effects.

Agreed.
I also disliked the fact that unlike the comic doom, Movie Doom didn't have any armor (save the mask), but his skin was actually metal. Also, movie Doom was showing some pretty weak magic abilities for the next in line for Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel Universe.

iv never been privileged to read the old comics but i was always wandering about the armor
i used to watch spiderman and doom was in some of the weirder episodes
and yes in the show he did seem to have actual "magic" not just lightning
