originally ff7 was gonna be on the N64 but due to nintendos idea of staying with. cartridges instead of using cd's for there games. squarsoft decided to design the game on sony's playstation.

I still have a N64 (inherited it from my sister actually :p ), I don'T have a lot of games but I have the most fun with those three:

Diddy Kong Racing (they should have made a sequel! Hovercraft racing rocks!)
Super Smash Bros.
Megaman 64 (Megaman Legends)

And I played both Zelda at a friend's place and I know they're good, but I didn't really have much experience.

I think there is four games that are 'classic' 64 titles: Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Golden Eye 007. I think those are the definitive ones.

Pefect Dark might be a minor shooting game (just like Goldeneye) but I love how you can have an alien character, invisibility and the realism when you get poisoned or punched in the face (the screen gets all fuzzy and you go dizzy hehe)

Nintendo 64 was the first real console I even had, and it's what also really got me into the gaming scene from the start.

When Goldeneye was the best shooter there was out there, I played that almost religiously. Hell, the only time I stopped was after I had beaten every nook-and-cranny of the game.

Legend of Zelda: Ocorina of time made me into a Zelda fanboy, I'm not going to lie. There was no way anyone could get me off that game until I had beaten it, and after that I beat it again. Hell, I think I repeated it about 4 times till I was sick of it.

Heh, I still have my N64. It's really old but I consider it to be one of the best consoles around.
I didn't play many N64 games, because I played Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask right away and didn't really care about other games considering those two were so addictive. But I did manage to get my hands on some good games like: Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros. and Banjo Kazooie.
