I actually enjoy MeiLin's outfit from CardCaptorSakura. I really like the short skirt and long kimono sleeves as well as the color design for it. Really cute!

I also love a ton of cosutmes and outfits from the Sailor Moon manga. This includes almost all of the princess gowns for the senshi of Sailor Moon because they're all of the long, flowy variety, but still are unique to each of the senshi. The only one I didn't really seem to like very much was Jupiter's and only because the flowers really don't suit her.

I like the two outfits for the human versions of the female cats, too and I'd have to say especialy Diana's because she's just so damn cute! She reminds me of a tiny ballerina. <3 Luna's kind of looks like her chest is furry.. but the rest of it is gorgeous.

My favorite Magical Girl costume would have to be Sakura's from CCS when she captures the Watery. I love the cute little jester outfit.

Also! I love the Sailor Cosmos suit and all of the pretty dresses Naoko Takeuchi has made for all the Senshi. I think she should have been a wedding dress designer. I know what my wedding dress will look like thanks to her.

I don't think it matters, as long as the costume brings a more cute and feminine quality to the character. For example, Belldandy's clothes sometimes resembled those of a gentle housewife, while at other times she wore something a young adult woman would wear. They really matched her personality too.

Well, my favourite magical-girl costume must be from Nanoha StrikeS! I like Hayate Yagame's Costume and Fate Testarossa's! They're not too girly, and they look mostly cool and serious.
