Alright in Halo2 the battle rifle, you noobs can use your sword, but if you time it right you can block the sword by whacking someone with your gun(give it a try, your friends will be lost and confused lol)
and the fusion rocket in red faction has got to be the koolest weapon I have ever used in any video game

Um... on Star Wars: Empire at War you can use the Deathstar to blow planets to itty-bitty pieces. That and the monster capital ships on it. Fun.

Final Fantasy 8 Gunblade.

Think of it, first you slice a hole into a persons stomach, then fill it with lead. It's a fanboys dream.

The Cerebral Bore from Turok 2. Flies towards it target once shot out, burrows into the head, ejects all grey matter from the skull and the explodes. If you've got a brain, you're as good as dead. ^_^

"Crowd Pleaser" Shotgun ~ Use it the most throughout the game. Just love the alternate fire, it burns!
"Shark" Rocket launcher ~ Most versatile and powerful weapon when you're outnumbered as the alternate fire shoots 4 separate guided rockets.
Singularity Cannon ~ Only time you will use it is on the final level. As the name implies, it shoots mini volley of black hole and it sucks anything in it's trajectory. Cool!


Halo

Assault Rifle ~ My weapon of choice to take down Hunter Killer ahead on
Rocket Launcher ~ Should I explain this again to you?
Shotgun ~ The best Flood problem solution


Dark Forces, Dark Forces II:Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast & Jedi Academy

Concusion Rifle ~ splash damage and alternate fire of railgun fire xD
Stromtrooper Rifle ~ Your standard issue against any enemy except Jedi/Sith
Wookie bowcast ~ Good at sniping your enemy w/o using a scope
Lightsaber ~ Hack, slash, block and reflect your enemy fires, and Force Throw. Oh, such a SW classic

The Masamune blade that Sephiroth carries is very cool. I also like the Lionheart that Squall uses at the end of FF8.

Xenosaga I, II, and II - KOS-MOS's X-Buster. She forms a crystal out of her back and then beams come out of her stomach and suck up [usually Gnosis, alien lifeforms in the game] and turn them into an energy source. It's a HUGE attack, she literally sucked up a million Gnosis with that thing, plus it's just cool looking ^__^

you know what, change of thoughts those are cool but to add on, i think that the energy sword from halo2 is petty niffty and stuff, and also the skateboard on american wasteland the only thing you can atk some 1 with ^^'
