Help! I'm having problem memorizing band music!

School starts next week and I 've got to have this music memorized. I've been working on it all summer for a 1/2 hour to 2 hours a day.
The problem is I can't seem to remember it. Does anyone have ideas of how I could memorize it and make it stick?

Break it down into paragraphs or whatever they're called in music lingo.

Memorize every paragraph, maybe one or two a day. At the end of the day, quiz yourself on the paragraphs.

For every paragraph, find something - a word, anything, to associate it with. Memory works best with some association.

At the end of the week, try to recite the entire thing

break it down and rememberize 1 paragraph the 1st day, then that paragraph and the next graph the next day, then the 1st paragraph plus the 1 u learned yesterday and the 1 after yesterday's paragraph, then keep following with the other paragraphs
