Suikoden (The Original)

I recently stumbled upon a copy of the original Suikoden for the Playstation. I was wondering, how good is this game?

well it a ok games i say that i would rate that game 6 out of 10. i am not sure you might like the game..

thats an awesome game, i got it and its kinda easy to beat but its a fun rpg with alot of characters, and alot of runes. i give it about an 8 out of 10, nothing can beat the original

My bro Shuranosuke has that, though I haven't the guts to ask him if I can play it. But he loves it! I think he'd give it 9 or 10 out of 10. I've only played 3-5, and I like 4 and 5, but not 3.

ive played 1, 4, 5, and tactics, i hated them all except for 1, also i want to get 2 cause it looks jus like 1 and it looks like alot of fun

Yeah! Suikoden is so cool! 2 is the best!
overall: i will rate it 10/10 (haha! i'm just so addicted w/ this game)

So about how long should it normally take to beat this, and how much time, effort and divotion am i gonna have to put into this game?

well, for me, once i get my mind set on a game, i usually wont stop playing it until i beat it, if ur a first time player of this game and u want to get every character then it would take u about 4-7 days, maybe even more

Here, my ratings for Suikoden games.

1,2,3=Win
4,5,tactics=Fail

Get 1 if you did find it, it's a hard game to find and damn fun. Two is even harder to find, even better than 1. 3 is still fairly easy to find, and also wins.

I've played the first one..i thought i would never beat it but i did with all the characters..i think suikoden 1 and 2 where the best the others had alot of problems

I think it's very good personally. The graphics may not be anything impressive by standards nowdays but the storyline is very deep and moving. Also there's a lot of extra stuff you can do, after all, there's over 100 characters to add to your army! (And you need them -all- before a certain part in the game in order to get the good ending...)

Suikoden 2 is also very good, you should try to find that sometime too hehe.
