Love's Start

Close your eyes, hear my voice...
And Tell me...Was this just a choice?
When did we choose...To feel this way?
When did we become so close that we wanted to stay?

As you lie here, beside me so near...
Even an inch brings uncertianity and fear.
I don't want to admit these feelings are there...
But once your eyes meet mine, I'm captivated by your stare.

What did I do to fall so fast?
When did you come to catch me at last?
I want to cry, disapper and simply die...
But you whisper a promise I think is only a lie.

You say you "love" me...But how can it be true?
I'm helpless in those arms...What can I do?
Such dark thoughts...Yet you vanish them all with one light touch...
All I can ever hope is not to break your heart, even though that's not much...

You say that you love me...I want to believe that so...
But I'm afraid you'll vanish...That you'll simply just go...
I've never loved...Nor given my heart...
But if you will have me...I'll make this...A true start.

**Dedicated to my ittoshi hito...Kai-chan...I still remember that poem you first gave to me...Thanks for being there for this hopeless otaku...**
