How old is your house? I've been wondering if I'm the only person that lives in a house that's around 70 years old. :<_<: So lets hear it!!!

I WIN, when I was in Ohio, I lived there for 12 years of my life, it was a 76 years old house, since its been 8 years now! The current owner are living in a house that is 84 years old. The one I live in now was brand new, so it's only eight years old.

23 years.. ? I think. As long as my mom and dad have been married, I know that.

There's an old farmhouse my mom's side of the family owns in PA. I know that house is at least 125+ years old. O_o

76 years old. Once it belonged to a lady and she died...so now we have it. When you think about it, that's creepy.

Well most of the homes that I've lived in have been relatively old O_o:

~ The first home I lived in until 1999 was about 29 years old.

~ The apartment I moved to afterwards was over 40 years old

~ The suburban home I live in as of now was newly built in 2003 and about 3 1/2 years old now.

I would estimate this decrepit barracks to be built a few years after Joan of Arc was burned. Failing that, sometime during the Cold War.

It is 30-40 years old... The previous owners had it built for them like 30 years ago..

My friend's house the one he was forced to move out of, and that is getting torn down, was one of the first establishments in north county. From the 1800's. The one I lived in when I was little, was from 1920. The one I live in now is from the 70's No idea.

My house is 3 years old!! No kidding. We moved in after a year when it's built!!

The house which we lived before was very old. I don't know how old, but I think between 25-30 years old. Maybe older, I'm not sure.

My house is 85 years old. It used to be a home where nurses took care of old people and it was changed into a home around 1918 or something like that. It creaks a little, but the wood paneling floor is cold. ;_; It has a little shelf at the bottom of the stairs for a rotary phone. lol I thought it was charming, high ceilings though. It's pretty fun. =D

Almost five years old. It was built back in the Summer of '01, so it hasn't been long.

*sigh* Well, I guess it's glad to know that were not the only ones living in a creepy ol' thing

EDIT: Well, if you were wondering about our house. My grandma and Grandpa actually built it themselves. It looks like a mini castle made out of red brick. Gosh, I hate it though...... Well, at least since it's so big, I don't have to see my bro's as oftn as I used too. . And at least I get two rooms and my own fireplace in one. I guess it could be worse.....:p

Probably over 100 years old:glare: Seriously my mom complains everyday about it,"it looks like it can fall over any day now".Also in the living room we currently had to do work on the roof because the roof caved in.Most windows won't open, the doors creak,Gosh I could go on.It's seriously old though. We're moving soon though. Can't wait:p

It was built before Hurricane Camille in 1969, and it was still standing after it until Katrina hit last year..Then we had to tear it down. So, it was 36+ years..
