Hmmm, it's such a hard decision. And my memory is almost completely gone of .hack//, though it was one of the greatest animes ever, in my opinion.

I'd have to say my favorites are Subaru, Aura, Krim, Sora, BT, Endrance, and Ovan. Sorry there are so many, but .hack//sign is so awesome, it's hard to pick any one, two, or even three characters! T.T ^-^

Actually, Balmung is in G.U. You cant have him in your party or anything, but he makes quite a few appearances with Kite and Orca in vol. 1 Rebirth.
