So, what's favourite punctuation mark/symbol?

I'm talking ,, ., !, ?, [], (), :, ;, -, ..., "

They're the main ones...

Mine? Well I guess it has to be the ol' semi-colon; many don't know how to use it - and it's so cool-looking *o_O;* <<<Look! Another use for the Godlike semi-colon! ";" :awe:

the comma, since any text lacking it looks like it's written by a baboon. Or the fancy semicolon, which when used correctly makes the text look worked-through and serious.

As a general rule of thumb, anymore than three exclimation marks in a rule is a no-no.

Periods and commas. Periods allow us to differentiate sentences. Commas allows us to improve them for legibility and clearification.

You can't live without commas, or else all your sentences are going to sound silly. Then again as pointed out above, most members aroudn here don't see that. Besides that I like to use ! ~ # or ^. Not all of them punctuation necessarily, but useful around here nonetheless.

Oo i love "..." ellipsis xD and "-" hyphens, they make you seem educated, whereas ellipsis create a desired effect. I can't explain but it shows an emotion*shrugs*

I have to agree with Dieslmannen. She is right. The comma " , " is far too often over looked. I am also partial to the semicolon " ; " <3 .

I prefer dashes (-), and commas, of course. Semicolons can be used, however it's always a pain to use them properly, or in the right context for that matter. I'm also quite partial to the apostraphe ('), because no one uses it properly, and it's just quite fun to use.

People don't use puncuation on many forums or in many chats. Why? I don't know. Language is the beginning to mis-understandings. I attempt to prevent mis-interpretations before they happen.

my favoriyte is not on the keyboard. It's the interrobang. Im not sure if any of you have heard of it. It's a punctuation where the question mark is sorta meshed with the exclamation mark. Notice it's called "interrobang".
