Call my gf. If I'm at school I'll skip class to have lunch with her. If I'm home and my gf's busy then I'll listen to HIM most likely. But on very rare occasions do I feel lonely... (that doesn't mean I don't skip to see my gf though; just like today XDDD)

My friends can't make me feel too much better when I'm feelin lonely... they just annoy me. When I'm sad though, it's a completely different story... so again, lonely I need my gf :)

I'd have to say that when I'm lonely, I lose myself in thought. I think about the ones that make me feel so lonely and whatnot. Also, I sing or write. When I get lonely, I sit outside on the porch and look out into the woodland scenery. Not actually soaking it in, though -- I use the time to think about anything, or nothing at all. Something close to like... life's big questions, scandalous government issues, how my nieces and nephews are doing. Stuff like that. Or, I shut myself down and just sit. It's righteous.

I hate it that people have to go through lonliness. :( But everyone feels it at times, and a lot of the times I'd want to help someone through it, but I'm not sure how. And whenever I'm feeling lonely, I just end up thinking a lot. Or I go on the internet. But if you're talking about the kind of emptiness that someone feels when they just want someone close to them; to be able to just share all secrets with them without having the worry of being judged (I guess like a soul mate), then I definitely end up just thinking.

As for lonliness when you just want someone to talk to, I either go on-line, or I harrass my friends :P , or I keep my mind occupied by doing little inane things. These range from housework (yes, that's how bored I've gotten. ^^) to writing, singing, and ....thinking some more. :\

Having a pet helps the lonliness, too. I don't know what I'd do without them. They're like family to me. <3
