No matter how much I want to say "ED WILL, ED WILL!!!!", I know that it's not going to happen...

Their fighting styles are very different and the situation gives Roy a huge advantage, because Ed needs to get up close to the enemy in order to hurt them with the transmutated Automail arm, while all Roy has to do is snap his fingers and ta-dah! Things go boom. And he can do this without having to be anywhere near his enemy :sweatdrop

Unless Ed managed to dampen Roy's clothes, in which case Ed would most definitely defeat the Flame >3

Ed's fast, but he'd be hard pressed to match the speed of Roy's flames. They did fight, just so you know. Ed won, but that's no guarentee he would win again. I say Roy. Get it over with at a distance.

I would have to say Ed, or FullMetal in this case. Even though he has to get up close to hurt Roy, but his alchemic skills put him as top notch!
