Well i just finished rocking that game, my final play time was 75hrs. and im sure i missed A LOT... i find that the game is awesome at times, and rather annoying at others... case and point, the weapons and armor seems to double or in some cases triple in price as you go from town to town but in most areas the amount of gold dropped is lowered to an amount that sometimes makes you wish that goldmen were EVERYWHERE... if anyone already has the godbird i'll let you in on some tips... there is an area on the island of darkness that can only be accessed by the godbird... during the day you'll fight MANY goldmen (i had 7 straight battles with 2 in each battle) and during the night you can fight upwards of 5-6 liquid metal slimes... now if you're still having trouble beating up metal monsters let me give you a hint as to what i used

hero - Uber falcon blade
yangus - hell scythe
jessica - poison needle
angelo - Uber falcon blade

Ok now for anyone who doesn't know the poison needle has a low chance of killing a metal monster on one hit... but thats not why i use it... it will ALWAYS do 1 damage to a metal monster... yes ALWAYS (unless it dodges in which case you suck :p) if anyone doesn't know how to make an Uber falcon blade i'll tell you... Falcon Blade + Meteorite Bracer... TaDa... when the hero and angelo do metal slash they can do 4 damage to a metal monster... so to recap.. hero + metal slash = 2 damage at least but 4 damage if lucky, yangus = picking his nose, jessica = 1 damage, angelo + metal slash = 2-4 damage.... now you take the 4+1+4 = 9 and you can kill a liquid metal slime... now this is the best way to gain experience but there is another way that will annoy you to no end (it did for me at least)... slightly to the left of the stonemasons tower (don't remember the fools name) you can land on a small cliff using the godbird to fight KING METAL SLIMES!!! i have only brought one down and it's hard because they still run away but they have 20 HP!!! although if you get one that's brave enough to stay you've net yourself over 30,000 exp. not bad huh? but anyways stick to fighting liquids... with my tactics if ANY liquid metal slimes stay the battle using the combo will 7 times out of 10 kill one straight out... happy hunting

by the way in case people wondered how i got more than one meteorite bracer here is the recipe

Agility Ring + Agility Ring + Orichalcum = Meteorite Bracer

ok now how do you get agility rings? well you 'should' find 2 or 3 along your travels but here is the recipe to make more

Seed of Agility + Prayer Ring = Agility Ring

ok if you haven't found seeds of agility then i pity your adventuring skills... as for prayer rings they can be purchased at the bazaar for 9000 each (ya steep price but goldmen make it easy) as for Orichalcum you'll find a total of 4 pieces during your travels (ya near the end of the game) now the Orichalcum is used to make MANY of the best items of the game so perhaps using them for an Uber falcon blade isn't a good idea for you... as for any recipes you have found with the green text "a precious or rare metal or ore" thats the Orichalcum... if anyone needs any further help just send me a PM and i'l be happy to share information

yea you gotta make the theives key.

in the begginning of the game i ran across this dragon guarding a treasure chest, if your a beginner DONT FIGHT IT. just make it chase you till its standing to the far left or right, then go to the opposite side, and RUN LIKE HELL.

stupid thing. snuck right past it XD
