recommend manga/anime

Hi!

I never really read anime/manga before i just watched it but now i started reading it and its good and i was wondering if anyone would some good anime/manga to read or even watch??

I LOVE InuYasha , Full Metal Alchemist,Naruto...and I read this manga called Kodocha Sana's Stage it was good!

Im reading Fruits Basket and thats good so far!

Naruto Anime/Manga(156 episodes and im still addicted)

Bleach Anime/Manga(anime not out in english, but it is very good)

Ichigo 100% Manga(The overused harem theme, but more realistic and seriously from a guys point of view)

Shaman King Manga(i don't watch the show, but the manga is really good)

King of Bandits Jing Manga (available in english, seems childish, mature and dark undertones)

Yakitate!! Japan Anime (its about baking...its very, very good)

Tactics Anime (interesting story..the two main characters are WAY too friendly)

Tenjo Tenge Anime (very interesting anime although it has 2 plots, 1/2 the anime is flashbacks)

DeathNote Manga (available in english....the main character reminds me too much of myself)

BLAME! Manga(available in english, very, very good story, little dialogue, incredible artwork)
I'm not 100% sure if all of these are out in english, but they are all very good...

For you, I've got to point to the YYH and Sailor Moon uncuts. The battles in YYH are a hundred times cooler in the uncut version, so its cool if you shounen titles.

Sailor Moon uncut is just an all around better show than the Dic version. Its still Sailor Moon with the corny romantic tones, but the characters are deeper, the humor is better and more constant (you'd be surprised at the kind of stuff that Dic cut out... its ridiculous), and the action isn't bad either.

Some of my other top favorites that you might want to check out:

Berserk (Great action show, awesome story telling)
Great Teacher Onizuka (Better known as GTO... best anime comedy by far)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (Keep watching! It get's MUCH better...)
Elfen Lied (Probably the most bloody anime that I've ever seen... good stuff)
Outlaw Star (If you missed it when it was on Toonami, its worth checking out... fun action show)

Hooray, a new anime/manga fan joins the ranks *huggles*^^ Fruits basket is a fantastic manga, and I have yet to see the anime, but I heard it is very good. Anyway, manga I recommend are:

I also recommend any films by Miyazaki, especially Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. They are very, very well done ^^ I hope you enjoy, have fun ^_~

-Ahhhh... Great romance/school life/drama manga... And the anime... They tend to skip alot of small stuff... Its better to read the manga first and then watch the anime... manga and anime are both finished... They're still releasing OVAs every once in a while though...

Deathnote[manga]
-Insane manga. Basically you go through the story of some guy who is or isn't a criminal(He officially is, but you get to choose for yourself too.) and read about him killing criminals and read about how he avoids the police and other people.

Berserk[anime/manga]
-Not for the youngin's....

Hajime no Ippo[anime/manga]
-This is for the boxing fans... Anime is good and if you'd like to continue the story, just continue off into the manga...

GTO[anime/manga/live action]
Good drama/school life anime... Better to read at least the first mangas before starting the anime... "Bad Company" and "Shounan Jun'ai Gumi".. You can read about Onizuka before he wanted to become a teacher...

I'm glad to see someone mention this. It's an excellent movie. If you have difficulty finding it, also look under hotaru no haka. People have mostly suggested what I would, so I will just add the ones I didn't see.

Tokyo Babylon (manga) and X (manga and anime). Two of the characters in TB finish their story in X in case you want to do it chronologically. TB is one of my favorite mangas. It has humor and is quite cute, but it's also very dark.
