How tall is everyone here now?

Mine would be at 5'5" inches.

In high school I used to dread the height lineups, because I'd be waaay back there at the end...with a good dozen guys before another girl came up. And at work I'm constantly asked if I'm standing on a platform >< I won't even go into the comments I received when at another job I WAS on a platform. Ugh. Oh, and I just LOVE hearing someone rant on and on about someone else being "SO TALL" only to find out they're my height or even shorter. Gah!

Frankly, I want to shrink a little. I'm tired of the basketball comments, the model comments, the "how's the weather up there?" comments. And so much more. So...shrink, or move somewhere where the girls aren't stunted.

I think it would be awesome to be tall. I've always been short for my age, and now I'm only 164 cm...which is about 5'4 and 1/2". I have a lot of taller friends who are always pointing it out... :<_<:

You know what's really sad? When I first moved out here from Long Island (where the girls were not so stunted ;p), I was the #3 tallest in my grade (after two guys...and almost impossible to distinguish), and easily the tallest girl in the school, including the two grades above me. Worse, the TEACHERS were short (probably grew up locally ;p). I didn't have a single female teacher taller than me until Junior High. And even then it was only one.

Oh the stares... I will never forget that first day. They looked at me as some sideshow act.

I'm probably just a smidge over 6ft, actually. I sawmy boyfriend a little over two years ago, and you couldn't really tell who was taller. I was 6ft at the time. Just this past summer I stayed with him again and, lo and behold, I'M the obviously taller one. So either he shrank, or I grew.

Well no, actually. Osteoporosis is NOT a good thing. Something I think we'd all prefer to avoid, and women are more prone to. I don't like being tall much of the time, but there's not a darn thing I can do about it. I won't say I like it if I don't ;p

I think it's alot easier for us guys 'cause being tall is considered an atractive feature for guys most of the time. Don't worry, you're young enough yet to do some growing ^^ And while it's true that girls generally stop growing up earlier than guys, I know that I managed to grow between 18 and 20...somehow. It happens.

Well, 6'0, maybe a bit over. 15, Male. Cousin who is 7'3, another Cousin/uncle who is 6'9. So i got Hope. Personally, I think 6'0 is a bit short. Then again, I actually do know a few girls that are above my height. I guess it is just living in Texas, ya?

Gah! Why are the girls here so short?? >< Make me feel like a bloody giant. I'm 6ft. Quite possibly a smidge over that. It's not outrageously tall, but I come from a town that seems to pop out shrimpy girls...so I stand out, and always have.

In high school I used to dread the height lineups, because I'd be waaay back there at the end...with a good dozen guys before another girl came up. And at work I'm constantly asked if I'm standing on a platform >< I won't even go into the comments I received when at another job I WAS on a platform. Ugh. Oh, and I just LOVE hearing someone rant on and on about someone else being "SO TALL" only to find out they're my height or even shorter. Gah!

Frankly, I want to shrink a little. I'm tired of the basketball comments, the model comments, the "how's the weather up there?" comments. And so much more. So...shrink, or move somewhere where the girls aren't stunted.

Don't worry I'm fairly tall too, like... 5'10" it's hard finding a guy taller than you that you can actually wear heels with. But I"m good model height ^_^;
