What is the worst thing that happened to you while you were gaming? For me it would have to be the time when I was nearly finished FFX for the 1st time and the power went off while I was saving it, which destroyed the profile and I had to start all over again. I died when it happened and now I make 2 save files of everything.

Worst gaming moment? Well, I suppose it would have to be when my little brother took out my Memory Card from my GameCube when I was saving a file on Phantasy Star Online and then from there, all the files in PSO just corrupted and screwed over and so, I had to start over. Which was a pain in the back to do, but hey..
It's just a game, you can always start over.
Compared to life.. Now that's a different story. :ninja:

The worst gaming moment for me was when I was playing Golden Sun: The Lost Age on my GBA. I got stuck between an NPC, a fence, and a corner. The character wouldn't move out of my way, so I had to turn off the power. I wish that I had saved before I had gone into that stupid town. I had to fight three bosses all over again! >_< Ugh, I was so mad.

Let's see, anyone recall that Viewtiful Joe 2 Demo Problem? That happened to one of my blue memory cards.
Second, the warning about dropping memory cards is true. For my second blue memory card fell and I assumed it was damaged and could not be repaired. Thanks to my quick thinking , I fixed it and my other damaged memory cards.
Then the unthinkable , my high scores in the KOF Machine in the old music store were deleted when the machine was unpluged by a vindictive little pissant who was upset that I was pwnzing the game. Well, it's like this. . When you win over 30 times in row against people, you should have the right to continue, I did'nt get mad ; I just laughed and moved on to the Street Fighter Vs. X-men machine.
Playing pinball . . I was playing The old old old X-files pinball game, doing well. Untill the ball became stuck. STUCK. Nothing I did could move the ball, and what made it worse was when I got the manager of the arcade to check it, he kicked the machine and it went to Slam-TILT. ; .; For those that don't know slam tilting the machine automatically forces the player to lose.
the ball was still stuck. . but still. .He tilted my high score.
Last but not least, DDR.
For the love of god, on summer days.. DO , I mean. Please make sure the machine is'nt slippery before you start. Enough said.

I played Streets of Rage for the Sega Genesis, and I was on the final level. I was near the final boss, with no continues and low health. Then I was introduced to the AUTONOMOUS KITCHEN CART OF DOOM. I tried to jump out of the way, but it was too late. I couldn't play Streets of Rage for days.

Ouch. Wow. Yeah. DDR, how could I forget. It was slippery one day when I played but I never took to mind that it would really affect me, but as I got into it.. yeah.. nevermind. No more, it brings back bad memories. -Sniffle, tear-

When someone hacked into my first EQ account.
I lost a lvl 48 a lvl 44 and a few dozen others and had to alert my bank that someone else probably has my check card number so I could cancel the card and get a new one.
Goodbye 7 months worth of play......

Humm.....Well,
-When I had beaten my Pokemon Crystal game and was playing a new game because I was bored. I had no intention of started a new game. Then I accidently saved over my real game.....*twitch*....I was so upset.....
-I had started a new HMFoMT game and I went to save and didn't move the cursor to the other save file and erased a whole 4 years worth of work....
-My game froze up in FFX-2 after I had faced a hard boss and I hadn't saved before hand....
-Playing Golden Sun: The Lost Age and my GBSP had needed to be charged so I put it on the charger while I was playing, my cat came running past and unpluged my charger.....You know where that went....

Ah, when I was playing Dungeon Siege (it's a PC game).. I was going through one of the crypts in the beginning with all the arachnids.. (and in my opinion, that particular crypt, even though it was in the beginning, was the hardest to find your way through, because there's this HUGE room filled with about 300 monster spawn things, and it's completely dark.. you can't see anything.. ><) .. I had just navigated through that entire place, and then all of a sudden, the game froze, and shut off, and I didn't save it. I was so pissed... X__x ..

When I was playing Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, I was training my units in the arena... And one of them DIED.
I trained about 7 units and got them up to 20/20. If any of you played the game and this happened to you, I feel your pain.
That took about 2 days to do... And one of them just had to die. ._.
No real horror stories on this end but once I was playing FF7 for two days with out shuting the PS off because I didn't have a memory card at the time. After about 30 hours of game play my step-dad turned it off to play a baseball game, I about shot him.

NFL 2K2 on Dreamcast. I was leading again'st the CPU 34-35. 0:01 left in the game. CPU has the ball at my 45 yrd line and they go for a field goal. They kick it, it's going, it's going....and it missed....OH WAIT! THE WIND BLEW IT AND IT'S GOOD! And it made it feel worse watching the players of the opposite team celebrating lol!
- Starting a brand new ff7 game, playing for 4 hours solid, go to save, wait, PS2 cards can't take PS1 saves.
Thats all I can think of right now.

My worst gaming moment:
Game: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
I had been playing it for like 5 straight hours (pulling an all-nighter) and i had probably increased my characters stats by a ton and all of a sudden it had a pop-up that said it couldn't read the disk and when i cleaned the disk and put it back in and tried to play it again... The disk never worked and hasn't since so i had to buy a whole new disk and i had to regain everything i had gotten. Sucked so bad...and costed me money too.
umm. i think mine was when i finished MGS on PSX for the first time - and it was really hard for such an action-game noob like me then - and after the concluding dialouge it asked: "Save?" and by reflex i pushed X to confirm, not remembering that in MGS O is confirm, and X cancel. So i had done all the three final fights for nothing!!!!
i really was down for kinda one week or so (it really took me three hours or something to kill those three bosses! - and i think you cant save in between)

I was playing Final Fantasy VIII and I was on Disc 3 in Lunatic Pandora. I was stuck on Sorceress Adel and I could never beat her. I was just at a point were I was strong enough to beat the last boss but too weak to beat her. And I couldn't get off Lunatic Pandora so I had to start from my other file that was on Disc 2 and ditch this one. Such a waste of time... but it was worth it. Got the Lionheart on the way back to Disc 3.

Oh my gosh... So many...
Soul Calibur 2: My memory card was completely full, and I had no thoughts of erasing anything on it, so I just began to play the game without a memory card at all. Well, I played, and played, and played and left my PS2 on for a full week. I had unlocked every character, every extra, had bought everything that could be bought and had googled over the art a million times. Then my baby brother came running through the room and knocked it off my shelf, which made it shut off. I lost EVERYTHING I had spent a week working for. ><
Some dancing game: It wasn't DDR, but it was similar, but the arrows were different. I was at a skate rink, and I put fifty cents in, and then accidently put it on "super-hard". I already suck at dancing games, so I just stood there, looking like an idiot in front of all of my friends and numerous strangers.
The Sims: I had been working on the Goth family (in the original Sims game) for a record 800 days ( in the sim world). I had Bella at the top of the science career, and her husband at the top of the actor career. Everything was so perfect!Then a virius attacked our computer, and we had to erase EVERYTHING ;__; I cried sweet tears of sorrow ;__;
There is more.

The last round,I accidently got hit by a bomb and lost.(NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!)

The worst moment in Video Game history? When Squaresoft merged with Enix. Their game releases have been nothing less of atrocious (With the exception of TWO, out of what, 12 releases?), and they're running out of ideas. They're remaking games into the next gen platforms, and they're doing well off crappy games. I don't know how, i don't know why, but they are. No one in the RIGHT MIND can say that Final Fantasy 10 - 2 was a good game. If you do think that, then please, find a corner and CRY in it, you worthless gamer. Drakengaurd, Musashi (The remake, the original Pwned. This one was idiotic and pointless), and then we've got Final Fantasy Tactics Advance where a kid dreams about being in a final fantasy world - IN A FINAL FANTASY GAME. That's just...Is this just me? Do i really think that square shot themselves in the foot when they merged with enix?
This is by far the worst moment in gaming history, other than when Bill Gates decided to have a crack at the gaming world, and numerous others.

I have another bad gaming moment.
When I was playing Final Fantasy VII and I just got to the third disc, it was acting all weird. The music in the game kept skipping. And loading certain things took forever.
Then the screen froze and I had to shut the game off. Plus, I didn't save.
And then, when I tried playing the game, it didn't work. I guess it was from this big scratch on the disc.
Then I tried putting in the second disc and playing, but the memory card needed to be FORMATTED. My heart just stopped right there for a second... And I knew I had to format it, no matter what. So I formatted the memory card, and all that I've done was now gone... FOREVER.
