Manga or anime?

What do you like best ,reading manga or watching anime? I prefer reading manga because then I can take a better look at the drawings .. you know , But what do you think?

I chose Manga because it sows the real story like in Inuyasha they have so many filler episoids that arent even in the manga.

I say Manga, for a few reasons.

1) You get to look at the pictures at your own pace.
2) They have the FULL story line, unlike Anime, where they cut things out to make it more exciting.
3) The only thing they usually change in the Mangas, is the speech in the bubbles, but they don't change the size of them, not cutting out some of the pictures.
4) No annoying subtitles or BAD voice actors.

I like manga better; you can carry it around and read it anytime. I mean, you can't exactly carry around a TV and watch anime anytime. Plus, manga is much cheaper. Can't beat that!

In my opinion, I think manga is better. It lets you use your imagination better than watching the characters do their own thing. I have fun thinking about how the characters might sound or move like. ^^

Manga - I guess I just like reading a lot more better than watching TV a bit. I like anime too, but manga better. It is also detailed and I do not miss ANYTHING! The sad part about anime is that some scenes and/or dialogue are cut to fit the 30 minute time limit. They should have just cut the commercials. >.>

i think both are good
though im bending more towards the manga
the anime has motion but it doesnt captivate what the artist is really trying to say. in the manga its better because it has more information and gives you more of an input in the characters
though personally i think both can work together to create a bigger picture

i love both anime and manga. but arent they basiclly the same thing? anyways one of my favorite shows is inuyasha and one of my fave books is fruits basket. my fave characters are: fruba: hatori the dragon (also known as the sea horse) and inu: sesshomaru

The only way I can get mangas is on the net ... and it's rather annoying to read them on the monitor ... so, I prefer watching animes (of course subbed, not dubbed).

i like manga cause you get to read and you get away with it at skool and cause you dont only have a second to look at the pictures but i like anime too cause i think its drawn better for some reason, you dont have all of those confusing boxes that are in weird shapes sometimesand hard to read

Another reason why I tend to prefer manga is of all the unique art styles. Also, it's the original, so anything that was left out or changed when or if it was made to anime is still in there.

I like mangas, you can carry them around with you, read it whenever you want and no commercials. But I also like anime because then you can see the whole thing in action. Not just still pictures. Plus not all mangas are in color and you can't hear the voice of the character, you end up making your own voice for em. But over all I still prefere manga.

I love both, but I'm going to have to say manga. Manga is much better for me since I can read some of it now, hide it, and read more later. I really can't watch much of a full anime series since my parents tend to drop in all the time (and they don't like me watching anime).

I would choose both. Because with manga it showsa stuff that was not in the Anime & it has more to the story, & sometimes it makes more sense.

If you like action, then it is better on anime. I am not such a big fan of that, but action does add spice to the story. With manga, I can more closely investigate the drawings, though.

I like reading manga better, but sometimes mangas are hard to follow. For example, Excel Saga. I think the anime version of that is better. So I guess it just depends...
