Who would win the fight, Sailor Mars or Sango?!?

Wow .... I think this is pretty tough. I like Sailor Mars from sailor moon and Sango from inuyasha. I think Sailor mars would win cause she has fire powers, but sango also gets kirara (kilala). And kirara is like a fire cat. It kinda takes a while for Sailor Mars to say the words for her attack, so maybe sango and kirara would have already killed her by then. Sangos boomerang is pretty fast though. I dont know who would win actually.

Okay, lessee a shrine maiden who fights evil with wards and takes hours to transform or utilze an attack, or someone with years of experience killing demons with a giant boomerang.

At least with the Mars Saturn vs Kagome Sango there was a challenge -with Saturn being overpowered- but now, Sango would kill Mars completely before she even finished transforming.

In a full-on fight, I'd say Sango would win because she has many weapons at her disposal and a Kirara. Add the fact that she was raised to fight tough against relentless demons that would kill her w/o a second thought, fighting Sailor Mars would just be like fighting a human with a flamethrower. Now, the fight I'd like to see them do would involve bikinis and a pool ;D

Sango, hands down :awe: Sailor Mars is tough, but chants and fire spells can only take you so far. Sango has the speed, the weapon and her awesome two-tail sidekick, Kirara. Plus, I have never actually seen Sailor Mars physically fight with her fists or anything other than her fire spells. Sango is a demon slayer as well as an agile fighter, she would most definetely win...sorry Rei:p

That would actually be a really good (and very close) fight... but I think that Sailor Mars would win it. She could dodge Sango's boomerang and poison gas for much longer than Sango could dodge her fire attacks. But on the other hand, I'm not so sure that Rei's attacks would subdue Sango quickly... remember, she was stabbed deep by her brother, filled with arrows, and buried alive... and she still managed to pull herself up! It would probably take more than one fire soul to bring her down. And Sango's boomerang would probably do much wore to Rei than Rei's fire soul would do to her.

So its down to speed and agility vs. strength and endurance... the former almost always wins in the realm of anime, so I'm still going to give this one to Sailor Mars.

You make it sound as if those reasons actually matter...

1. If you want to play that game, Rei gets emotional whenever one of her friends are in danger. With Sango, its a problem that only comes up when Kohaku's around. She's usually pretty level headed. But since neither Sango nor Rei are the types to exploit somebody's concern for their friends and family, its really a moot point.

2. See above. Sango only looses control when it comes to Kohaku.

3. See above, again.

4. Yeah, and Sango's a complete coward. She's run away so many times that I've lost count...

I've already said that I think that Mars would win this one, but your logic really doesn't apply here. Mars would win thanks to manueverablity, not due to Sango's tendancy to loose her head when Kohaku's involved.

People here forget one of the most important disadvantagwes of Sailor Mars: Her attacks have a minimun of five full seconds before being executed. That's five full seconds of being completely open to any attack! No dodging, no parying, completely open.

I'd say Sango wins this one, an experienced youkai exterminator would not let an opening like that pass.
