If you are a master at these programs, I would love to learn how to do a few things

1 : How do you give Text (Layers) Special effects such as fading and reapearing
2 : How do you give the background special effects such as shining or anything
else you can think of.

Here's an idea.

Time. Use it experimenting. First time even handling the brush tool was hard. There's no "instant-mastery-guide" out there.

And if you add Time with some experimentin' and tutorials, which can be found by googling for them, you'd get the hang of it in no time.

And I already explained the first question in the sig thread.

Yeah, "playing" in PS always work, just experiment around and you'll see

Anyway about 1st question, use layer masks ;)
Edit: oh, if you're asking about animations ... it's a bit to long to explain.
You just need to make 2 animation layers, lock them, on the 1st make the text not visible, on the 2nd visible, and then just add some tweens animation layers between ... (look a bit around the animation tab in Image Ready).

yay im glad that you told me that, I have been working with it for awhile and I keep just doing the same things. Now i know that i need to make two layers thankies wizard
