Yea hello i wanted to maek a tut on ps but im new so im not sure if i can just post da ting or ask a mod/admin so plz any mod/or admin help me out here

Man ive beenwaiting for over 24 hours so here goes:

LAVA EFFECT:

Open photoshop, and open a new document, mine will be 500x500 pixels.
Fill the whole thing with black. Click your brush tool and choose a color, this is located on the lower left corner of your tool bar.
Now we have a black background.
Up at the top ther are menus. Go to Filter>Render>lens flare, Then make two more. You should have something liek this or something similar.

Now Click Filter>Sketch>chrome and use the default settings.
This should be what you have.

Good so far eh?
Now press ctrl+b and configure its color, dont forget to set it to highlights :).

I used photoshop 7.0 but you can use any lower version for this :)

as i can see someone voted for gold wave effect, so here goes:

Use:adobe photoshop 6.o or higher.
Brushes:no special ones needed.
GOLD WAVE EFFECT:
First make a new document mine will be 500x500.

Fill it up with black.
Now do:

Filter->Render->Diffrence Clouds
Repeat this step about 6 times by pressing CTRL+F.

Now do:

Filter->Sketch->Chrome
With the following settings:

Detail: 4
Smoothness: 7

Now give it a color by pressing CTRL+u, click Colorize and use the
following settings:

This gives it a yellow/gold like color.
You should now have something like this:

Let's go on.
Click Layer->Duplicate Layer

Then go to the duplicated layer, set the blending mode to Lighten].
Now, do:

Filter->Distort->Wave
With the default settings.

You should now have something like this:
