I'm wondering if there's a program I can use to take screenshots from DVDs that I put into my computer.
I tried Media Player - because I can take screenshots with anything that's playing in it - but it doesn't appear to be able to get past the menus.
Is there a program, or a way around Media Player's inability towards menus?
If y'all are wondering, I wanted to take more pictures of Lina Inverse to submit.

You can't do it on media player, I've tried. I can do it on a program called "PowerDVD". It's a very confusing process.

Hmmm... regular screenshot programs dont work?? Well that's just it. I can't even get the DVD to play because I don't know of a player other than WMP.

every software that specialized on player DVD has Screen Capture function, Cyberlink PowerDVD is one of them, here it call "Capture", to config the Capture, go to Config option, under General tab choose Advance Option. From there go to Capture tab. You can config. which mode the captured scene from the DVD will be save, (as Clipboard, as Wallpaper (Tile or Center), or into a folder that you specified. You can determine the Capture Aspect Ratio of the captured scene. to use this function, press hotkey 'C' or the icon looks like a camera. Other software has the same function with more option or you can use Adobe Image Ready or the software equivalent to it but you must explore the function yourself. Happy tinkering!
