Nobuo Uematsu leaves Square-Enix

In yet another high-profile resignation, Nobuo Uematsu will begin a career as a freelance composer, leaving Square-Enix after many years working on music for the Final Fantasy series. There is still a possibility that he will work with Square-Enix in the future, though it is largely unknown. After many years on the FF series, Uematsu will be missed in the RPG world as a wonderful composer. But who knows? Maybe he will continue to do odd projects for various RPGs in the future.

Wow the guy who did the music is leaving man that sure is a bummer. Or it would be had the music in the last 4 games not been so bad i say fresh blood is good. And this is in the wrong forum. ^^

On topic: I think they will survive, Final Fantasy is and will always be renowned for their music, so they will atract another apropriate artist.

Yeah i have known this sense last year. THis isn't new at all. though sound is important i am usually swamped by music to the point where i cannot hear the game <.< Though ff did have the greatest music so yeah a loss though it dosent really effect me that much.
