Rap and R&B

Does anybody like one of two? And if so name them and the artists? If you are not a fan of them, then don't get so mean about it. Just make it a good comment, and some criticism, and go on...

As of now, the artist I like are: Kanye West, Jadakiss, N.O.R.E., Tupac (I know he is gone, but I still love his music tho), Lil Jon and the East Side boyz, Outkast, Biggie Smalls, Ma$e, and Jay-Z.

The songs I like are: "Workout plan", "Through the wire", "All falls down", and "Slow Jamz", by Kanye west, "why"- by jadakiss, all of the new hot songs by Lil Jon (to make it easier) and "Hey ya", "Prototype", "A.D.I.D.A.S.", "bombs over Baghdad"- by Andre 3000 and Big Boi.

I like both metal and rap music...as long as it is good music, I don't care..

Some of the rap artists I like are: Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Timbuktu, Common, Side Brok, and probably many more..

Not all that fond of R&B though..at least not the kind that is made nowadays..
Though Anthony Hamiltons cd was pretty ok..

Being that this is an anime forum, I don't expect to see alot of people liking rap or r&b. Personally im not a big fan of r&b, but I do listen to alot of rap, as well as anyother genre. I would list a buch of names but i'd be here all day. Jay-Z is pretty decent, Del the funkee homosapien is good, Grafh, The A Team, Jurassic 5. ..Just too many to list. Thats a few.

Okay...I'm adding my 2 cents worth. I don't care for rap...never have, but I used to listen to R&B all the time. My favourites were Babyface; Johnny Gill; Bell, Biv Devoe; New Edition...do we see a pattern here? But can't say that I much listen to it anymore...don't know why, nor do I really care.

One last thing...watch yourselves in here. I see any trouble being stirred up and I will not hesitate to not only close, but delete the thread. Just a friendly reminder

I like some rap and r&b, but a lot of it today is generic, unoriginal, and they talk about the same thing. A few artists under this genre that I like are TLC, Black-eyed-peas, Alicia Keys, and a little Outkast and Usher.

Im not really into Rock that Much Its aight tho...Sometimes it makes me wanna punch somebody I guess thats why its good on fighting games....But yeah The Only reason Id get the album is because Rocafellas Beats is hot Its just that Jay-Z cant rap...Period..thats prolly why most of the songs suck now...

Well I'm mostly in to Underground hip hop/rap. Well I listen to Teron Delvon Jones and
Daniel Dumile. You know who I'm talking about, if you're a fan ^_^

i used to be really into both but a 99% of the newer stuff('99-present) just doesnt do it for me.

i'm more into what i guess is considdered to be ol'skool now.
