How many people like this band, they're kind of new and they have quite a unique sound. Unlike other new bands, they aren't copying of off other bands that have done well. They're doing their own thing and i like that.

Your thoughts?

The Postal Service...I haven't heard any of their stuff yet, so I'll check them out. If they are doing their own thing, that's good because too many new groups are either following the wind or releasing sub-standard covers.

Oh, I love TPS!! Love them!! I listen to them quite often. I have their cd "Give Up" and unlike most of my current collection...it is not depressing.

Contrary to popular belief, they're not so obscure to make someone "cool" by saying they listen to them ^^;;; I find it irritating to see people say so..

My former friend got me into them. After listening to song after song, I still haven't found one I like as much as Such Great Heights.

I've only heard one song by them, and I love it.

They're the win. In every sense of the word.

I can still remember listening to "Sleeping In" for the first time on the car radio with Han :3

.... Do any of you know that The Postal Service is made up of members from Death Cab For Cutie? If you like TPS, check out Death Cab. Some of their really cute songs are "The Sound of Settling," and "Why You Would Want to Live Here."

I first heard Such Great Heights on the radio about a year ago. Seeing as how I'm never very good with time, that's a give or take.

And I couldn't care less if they were emo. They're cute.

First, no fighting in my forum.

Second...I'll have to see if I can't find Death Cab. As I have fallen madly in love with TPS I find I want more!

They sound awesome purely by their name.

Anyone got any tidbits of sound I could listen to or where I can buy their album?

I haven't found a place where you can listen to them online, but I bet someone would be willing to send you a song or two over AIM.

I saw their Album, Give Up, at Target. I dunno, just a record store anywhere can do.

You must buy...they are very good. I listen to my cd a lot. And I mean a lot! There album shoudn't be that hard to find. I've seen their album in every store that I've been to.

In other news, I found Death Cab by Cutie and bought their cd Transatlanticism. Which is really good as well.

If that WASN'T the case, we'd have a CD full of songs about Skittles.

lol - yup - and listening to 500 more after this week.

I have 7,768 MP3s as we speak -_-

Silly me - lol. Some are duplicates, but getting closer to that 8,000 mark soon. TPS - have about 14 of their tracks. Just got Dir En Grey's newer tracks, which is nice too ^^
